Amazing staff and always top quality results. My concern today is not knowing who if any of the staff are vaccinated w covid vaccine. It would be great to hear the office is fully vaccinated but I wasnt given an answer to that when I asked.

We’ve been coming to Smiles on State Street for several years and have never had a bad experience! They have been wonderful with my kids and they actually look forward to going to the dentist! Always clean, always friendly, always punctual.

Had some tooth pain early afternoon today (a Friday). They took me right in, I was in the chair less than 30 minutes after my call. The doctor and staff are outstanding... every time I see them. They get highest marks from me, I highly recommend them.

We had switched dental insurance this year and I was looking for a new dentist. I’m glad I chose Dr. Mortensen. He and his staff were so welcoming and friendly. What a very welcoming environment! I went in as a new patient looking to get treatment for gum pain. Dr. Mortensen found the issue and referred me to a specialist who could give me the treatment I need. I am so happy to be a patient of Smiles on State Street!

I admit I showed up nervous to get my first root canal, but I was blown away by my experience. Dr. Mortensen showed care and concern during the entire process, taking extra time to administer my numbing slowly so it wouldn’t sting, and making sure I had no discomfort or pain during the procedure. I’ve had worse experiences getting fillings at other places! For me to tell you that I experienced minimal pain for something as major as a root canal should be very telling in how talented and careful the doctor and staff are here. He also offered his work at a reasonable price and I would highly recommend them to anyone seeking a positive experience while seeking care for their teeth. I’m really impressed and happy with my results.

Wow... Just wow. What a kind, caring and skilled dentist. I called Dr. Mortensen with a dental emergency on a Sunday morning... He called back almost immediately and saw me at his office within an hour. I was in a lot of pain and he diagnosed my issues, gave me temporary pain relief, prescribed drugs and discussed my follow up, long term options to deal with the problem. To say he went above and beyond is an understatement.His office has been my regular dentist for about a year. His staff is wonderful and friendly as well. I cannot recommend Dr. Mortensen and Smiles on State high enough.

I went into their office for the first time a few years back for an extraction and I always thought that my mouth was not worth saving. We formulated a plan for my smile and every time I go there I walk out feeling a little bit better about my smile. The whole staff is awesome and make me feel very comfortable from the minute I walk through the door til I walk out.

He is a gentle, concerned Dentist who cares about his patients comfort and is conscientious of how nervous one can be going to the dentist. The entire staff make you feel at ease and are very professional. any reschedule is always met with no problem! and they work with your schedule. A really first class operation. all the work done has been top notch and always works fully with our insurance no over charges that we have to cover. it really cant get any better.

Very Friendly and accommodating staff. The Doctor asked what was wrong, did an extensive test, informed me of his findings. After stating what he suggested, he asked if I agreed with him or if I wanted something different.I had three teeth that needed removed and part way through they noticed that it was still causing alot of pain so they stopped, gave more numbing stuff waited for it to kick in then proceeded.I was very satisfied with the professionalism and as well as the one of the family courtesy of the staff.I recommend this office for anyone who has that fear of the dentist to try these folks. 11 out of 10.

Went to Smiles to get my tooth looked at, upon arriving I was greeted with a warm welcome. I was brought to the back and placed in a chair very quickly once I arrived. They looked at my tooth and took some xrays and after a few minutes, they gave me the run down and suggested some options for me. They were not pushy, they were not demanding, they made me feel welcomed. I will definitely have Smiles as my main place for all my oral health needs.

Yesterday was my second time coming into this office. The first time I had a wisdom tooth that was hurting and needed to be pulled. I was so impressed with my experience, I decided to make them my permanent dentist. They laid out a great plan for me to get all my dental work I need done, which is very helpful! And everyone was super friendly and helpful in answering all my questions and making me feel comfortable. Great place to go!

The service and care that I receive from Dr. Mortensen and his staff is incomparable! Dr. Mortensen has been my dentist for several years and has changed the way I feel about my smile and going to the dentist completely for the better. From the moment I walk in, cleanings, fillings, crowns, to scheduling my next appointment as I leave, everyone makes me feel welcome, cared for, listened to, and valued!

Today was my first visit to this dental office. The receptionist greeted me immediately when I walked in, smiling and asked me if I was Hal. There was the usual first visit paperwork to fill out. And the insurance info to provide. As soon as that was finished, my dental hygienist, Kandice, greeted me and escorted me back. She did a thorough cleaning and assessment of my oral health, including measuring my gums to record areas where they are receding. She explained that they did not need to take x-rays because they had obtained recent X-ray’s from my previous out of state dentist using permission I gave when I scheduled, Dr Mortensen then checked my teeth. Everyone there was friendly and professional. I highly recommend this office.
