I have owned 43 cars and do all the maintenance that I can. Allen is the only mechanic that I trust to do the work I can’t. He never tries to upsell me or scare me into other services. He has proved himself to me over and over. I have no problem sending my wife, mother, or other women I know to him because I know he will not take advantage of them. Trust. That means a lot to me and you can feel confident that you can trust him too.

Could not be happier with the service provided by Lous’s shop. When I went to get an estimate done, they were extremely professional and were easy to understand when talking about the repairs that needed to be done. The thing that won me over is they recommended I buy the parts for the repair because they said it would be much cheaper. I have never experienced this as most service shops are quick to order the parts themselves and up charge you a hefty penny. Without a doubt I will continue to use Lou’s if I ever need any service or repair done to my family’s vehicles. Hope this review reaches out to many and they utilize this amazing shop!

I went and got a muffler dropped and put in a flowmaster 40 series. They over booked but were still able to get me in. I think this made the mechanic mad, so instead of a flowmaster I got some no name brand muffler. Paid for a flowmaster, didnt even get the muffler I paid for. Don’t trust these folks. 200 bucks down the drain. Be careful going here

I was on my way from Virginia to Florida to catch a flight out for my honeymoon when my car exhaust partially detached, creating a loud rattling and heat that was literally beginning to melt my bumper. I pulled over and found this place. They took me in just before the holidays without any issue. Very quick repair (welding), great communication and helpful/friendly mechanic, and good price! They really saved me and got me back on the road in no time. Highly recommend!

My experience at Lous Auto Service and Muffler was probably the best Ive ever had. From beginning to end my service mechanic Mr. Allen pruitt was the bomb.com. I could not have asked for a more friendlier person to assist me. He allowed me to order the parts from the parts store of my choice, which in reality saved me a ton of bucks. Not only did he explain to me what I needed to order, but he went online to print out the pics of the parts I needed so I would know exactly what to purchase. OMG! Overall it was a great experience. I received such great service at a great price. The outcome was awesome!! My car sounds and runs like a totally different vehicle now. Took my BMW there to get an exhaust leak fixed. I forgot how quiet my car used to be until I started it up after they were done. I legit didnt think I started it. Thats how quiet it was lol. Great service and super nice people.

Stopped there for a rattling exhaust system, and get my front end alignment checked. They did a great job repairing the exhaust system. The alignment checked out ok. Very professional knowledgeable staff. Prices are extremely reasonable. Down home family run business makes you feel at home. Stop in and check them out . I did. Ill be back. Thats my go to place from now on.

I’ve got both of my mustang’s exhaust installed here and a camaro. They all sound fantastic. These guys do an awesome job.

Went above and beyond to make sure things were right. This was especially appreciated as I did not live in the area and had to leave the next day. I have now recommended them to people who do live in that area. Cost was reasonable. Family-owned and very nice people!

I spoke with Allen over the phone and he guided me on what would be best for my exhaust needs on my jeep wrangler. When i arrived he had even better news for me on what I should do and quoted me an even better price than he had over the phone. They did great work, were extremely honest, and fair priced!

Went to Lous monday morning, was there when they opened. They got me up on a lift and checked out my vehicle. We agreed on what was needed and the ( very reasonable ) price. Then they got right to work, took less then hour and I was on my way. These guys were easy to talk to, professional and knowledgeable. You know when youre watching someone who knows their stuff and this was one of those places. I could have went to one of the big chains that are overpriced and upsell you with b.s. products and prices, but that was not the case at Lous, I highly reccomend them. Thanks guys!

They were honest, reasonable, and fixed my car in a timely manor. I needed work done ASAP in the Summer and they helped me. I’m so glad I found somewhere to keep up with the maintenance on my car since moving here.

Do NOT take your car here. Got a Honda Civic looked at here before I bought it - they said there were no major issues except needed a new oil pan gasket. They replaced the oil pan gasket for $250. Drove car two days - broke down. they said an oil leak was causing it to break down but said it was running again. Car broke down 5 MINUTES into me driving it away. Took it to a new mechanic and ended up needing over $1000 of work plus they put oil pan gasket in wrong and I have to pay to have it redone. This place REFUSED to admit they did it wrong or give me a refund.Save yourself money and take it somewhere else. Trust me.

The post from Kimberly Pitts is incorrect. I am the owner of Lous Auto Service. I did check out her car prior to her buying it. I tried to talk her out of buying it. But she did anyway. So, we replaced the oil pan gasket for her. She called me about a week later and said the car broke down. Had it towed here and checked it out. Found no obvious problems with the car at that time. It started and ran fine. Had another oil leak coming from behind the timing cover (which I already told her that was a possibility before she bought the car). She picked the car up and was happy that I looked at it again for her and didnt charge her for my time. Then she called me a week later mad because her car broke down again. Nobody can predict if or when a vehicle may have issues. The only thing you can do is check for obvious problems. You cant predict if a timing belt,water pump or transmission is going to fail. Im sorry Ms.Pitts had issues with her car. But, I dont feel responsible for the issues she had.

These mechanics here are so nice and honest came in at 12 had a couple of issues with my vehicle Mr Allen Pruitt and his brother checked the issue out and stayed past there closing time to fix the issues with my vehicle for this I am truly grateful a very honest and reasonably priced mechanic will be coming back for future needs on my vehicle thank you so much Allen and family I really do appreciate it.

Had an exhaust problem while racing at Roebling Road Raceway. Jamie dropped what he was doing on a Saturday and had us in and out in 30 minutes and the exhaust was perfect.

Took our sons car there this morning at 11:30 to get his muffler done and it was very reasonable and fast. Car was done in an hour.

I have 2006 Lexus LS430, I dropped it off at 9:00AM to get all 4 of my struts replaced, and Allen called me at 10:25 AM, and told me my car was ready I couldn’t believe it, the car drove like new, he’s also did work on other 2 vehicles, I highly recommend Lou’s Auto Service and Muffler.
