Vera is from Brazil she knows all about the sugar waxing. I love her. Brazil is a beautiful country she is just like the people that come from there. She knows her stuff. Yes waxing hurts but as so as she is finished everything is baby soft and no pain. Obrigado Vera!!!

Shes really great at what she does and very detail oriented and efficient! Ive never walked away with hairs that were missed or wax left on me like I have at other places. Also, I love that she uses sugar wax, since it is better for your skin overall. Ive gotten my legs, underarms, and Brazilian done here and Im always super happy after leaving!

I drive 80 miles one way to get waxed. Shes that good… Amazing! Vera uses the sugar wax, no burn no sticky mess- that is completely amazing. It does hurt at the moment but 30 seconds later does not. I went to the beach an hour later… No bumps no burn just a beautiful bikini line. After one visit, theyre are already places that are MUCH thinner and some places that did not even grow back! She will even let you pick your pattern :-)Going back for my touch up Thursday. Extremely reasonably priced. I have paid twice as much for half the quality anywhere in Houston. It doesnt hurt that Vera is a sweetheart and makes you feel 100% at ease. Just another day at the office

Vera is wonderful!! The natural sugar wax she uses lasts TWICE as long as regular waxing. She is very thorough and very good at what she does! I have been a client for going on 3 years and have never had a bad experience. I HIGHLY recommend Vera!!

Overall, I would only recommend this place if you are a Brazilian wax pro and you want a quick, unfriendly visit.Pros:- I had hair effectively removed.- Vera accepts card payment.Cons:-“Bedside manner” was lacking. Vera did not ask my name or anything about me. I get that some people like the in-and-out appointment, but I do not.- Vera had no concern for my privacy and only left the room for me to undress after I stood there silently for a minute, and she stayed in the room while I got dressed after the waxing.- Throughout the entire process she pressured me to get a Brazilian wax. I did not schedule for one and I did not want one. I had to tell her no multiple times. I get that Brazilian is in the title or her business, but she has an extensive menu and should feel comfortable doing any range of waxing on said menu.- Vera did not use gloves and had no hand washing station or soap in the room.- This visit was my first time getting waxed “down there” in over five years and I told her so and she did nothing to explain the process or give warning.I had high hopes for Vera, especially after reading all the good reviews. In the future I think I’ll invest in my own waxing stuff instead of risk this kind of experience again.

I am so glad I couldnt find the time to get waxed before I left Dallas,TX! Vera is a true GEM! If/When I am ever in Galveston again I absolutely will have to come let her sugar me! Vera made me feel at ease since I am a male and this was my first Brazilian wax. Minimal pain, and she explained how this was better than the usual hot wax treatment, highly recommend, and will be going back for monthly Brazilian waxings.

Great waxing service!! I love the natural sugaring wax, makes my skin feel so soft afterwords, I havent had any breakouts or ingrown hairs since I starting using her services. And I love that the wax is not hot so there is no risks of burning my skin.

I have been waxing myself for years but i got tired of it, it took me too much time and it was a mess. When i first went to Vera i spent max 30 minutes in the room. She was fast, efficient, clean and gave me the perfect cut. My skin stayed soft and smooth for a long time. Best decision for the summer!Ps.: that oil she uses after smells like heaven. :)

My first experience was awesome!!! She took her time and consulted with me during my 1st time... I just left her very disappointed... I must admit I was late but thought I had 1 appointment but it was 2. She explained that her next client was coming @5:00pm. I apologized for the miscommunication and offered to rescheduled. She said I could wait I agreed but then she insisted that she could do my services in 15 minutes. I told her no if she was going to rip me apart and she reassured me that she would not do that. I told her I wanted a strip because of the previous issues I had before. She stripped me BARE and was very ROUGH!!! She claims she doesnt know what the clients booked but it has a place for notes before confirming the appointment. I am totally disappointed plus disgusted by the way she rushed me. She was very rude and her agitated attitude is on me for the next month or so...I WILL NOT BE BACK.
