Having never owned a house with a pool prior to moving to Galveston, I have had to rely on local experts on the care and upkeep of my pool. I feel very lucky to have wandered into Island Girl pool and spa. Karen is professional, friendly and knowledgeable. She has had what I need and that hasn’t been the case at the bigger chain stores in the local area.

We recently bought a house with an older pool on Galveston Island. The pool was in need of some attention and Island Girl Pool and Spa has provided fantastic service in helping us get the pool back up and running again. She responded to our inquiries in a timely manner and did what she could to provide us with the most fair costs in repairs. She completed the services as provided in the quote and on time. Our last pool service fired me leaving behind a a pool rapidly turning slimy green for weekend guests. Thankfully, in one day, island girl pool and spa tested the water 4 times, provided the materials and protocols to follow until a new pool service was on board. I could not be more impressed by the knowledge, quick response and reassurance provided to a family in distress!But, one must be patience as Karin is in high demand. Just keep calling!

Absolutely FantasticI take care of a local Galveston pool that gets a lot of use. I had no previous experience with pool maintenance or upkeep. From my first visit into the Island Girl and every visit since Karin has always provided exceptional customer service. She is very knowledgeable about pool equipment and chemicals. She always let me know when something was more cost beneficial to me instead of just trying to make an extra buck for her business. She provides fast, friendly service with a smile and is always patient with my innumerable questions. Thank you Karin for always being soooooo Helpful. It’s the off-season now, but come spring time I’ll be back picking your brain and getting my water samples check again.The pool always received lots of compliments for it’s clear appearance and that was even after the numerous storms this summer dumped bucket loads of rain and even topped it with salt water a few times. I really couldn’t take the credit for it and always let everybody know it was because of your help it looked the way it did. I have been using Island Pool girls service for over three years now. My wife and I love the service that is provided. They go above and beyond, and our pool is always ready for a dive.
