Once in a lifetime experience, show of fun, family, and food! I enjoyed myself throughout the 1st full week of September 2021

We had the BEST time on Carnival Cruise Breeze with my family a few weeks ago! We weren’t sure what to expect due to covid restrictions, but from the moment we got on the ship we were the happiest we’ve been in a long time! My son was too young to be vaccinated so we were only allowed to go on the “Bubble Tours” in Progreso and Cozumel, but Isla Pasion in Cozumel was exactly what my family needed. Our cruise director, Cookie, was amazing and entertaining and the staff did a great job making us feel safe and protected with all the restrictions. We cannot wait to book our next cruise.

I sailed on the first Carnival Cruise launch by Carnival Cruise line in 1 1/2 years since the pandemic, launched from Galveston Texas. The trip was outstanding. They did a great job on the embarkation process, even with the Covid checks the process was very smooth and smooth. In fact, faster than the embarkation process prior to the pandemic. Everything was normal except masks were required embarking/departing the ship at ports and at the Galveston cruise port.I have sailed with Carnival Cruise lines on 3 previous ships, this was my first trip on the Carnival Vista, this was my favorite cruise and ship thus far. The Ship has all the same restaurants as the other ships, in addition it has an IMAX Theater and Sky Ride.The food was the same as the other ships, some of my favorites were Guy Fieri’s Burger Joint & Pig & Anchor BBQ.The comedians at the comedy club were amazing, and the IMAX Theater (an additional cost) was as good as a normal IMAX Theater.The service throughout the cruise was top-notch, from the formal dinning staff, housekeeping staff, excursion staff and bar staff.I highly recommend sailing with Carnival Cruise line and sailing on the Carnival Vista.

I had my vacation ruined due to my need for supplemental oxygen. I can respect there position on not wanting me to sail based on there protocols. What I cant respect is how rude and inconsiderate the staff was about it. I passed thru all the screening and was cleared to board. 2 hours later medical staff determined I was not fit to sail do to the need of supplemental oxygen. I was escorted to a department where I would receive documentation as to why I could not sail. It was there everything went south. The lady I dealt with was rude to her fellow coworkers as well as the passengers. The person they had escort us out the building would not allow me to wait in the air conditioned port while my wife pulled the car around. He pushed us out the door and tossed our luggage on the ground. What is worse is I have been trying for 3 weeks to contact there service department and have been u successful. Was finally told by a booking agent that the customer care department is closed and only responds to emails. 2 emails later and still no response.

I have never been out of the country before, and this cruise trip was my first time. It was absolutely AMAZING. The customer service was honestly the best Ive ever had. The staff learned my familys names and catered to our every need. There were so many games and activities to do and the people there were just the cherry on top. This was without a doubt my most fun vacation and I cant wait to do it again.

My son enjoyed his trip to cosomel and how smooth and fun it was great job Carnival Cruise 🛳

Sailed on the Carnival Vista July 10, 2021 cruise. The new protocol with checkin times made getting on the ship a lot faster and painless. We did very little waiting once we got into the building. The port staff and carnival representatives were all pleasant to work with. My only complaint was having to where the mask in building, but luckily was able to take it off once on the ship. Once back from the cruise, we walked off our luggage. We were out of the building in no time. Just showed them our passport, and out we were. I didn’t see anyone get their bag checked or scanned. I know that saved us a lot of time not having it checked.

Our first cruise and we did a seven day cruise. I recommend the Freedom ship. Crew is very nice, the food is good, the cheesecake in the King steakhouse is the best ever. Best view is in the front of the ship on deck 7( see photos ). After you get finished with the safety meeting on deck 4, the rest of the cruise was awesome. Oh yeah... you have to eat at Guys burger joint...

Galveston (Carnival) new embarkation process is great! But if theres multiple ships trying to disembark the port cant currently handle it and your ship will most likely get delayed.

They need to figure out better way for dropping off and picking people up

I would definitely cruise with Carnival again. Next time Im taking my little girl with me. The cruise I was on would have been perfect for her. It was excellent all around whether youre a kid or adult!

Out of three different cruise company, Carnival has proven to be the most fun from on deck entertainment and staff engagement. I have been on a Carnival Cruise twice and both were very memorable.You will never be bored on board between destination as there are tons of activities fitting different interests. I was particularly interested in the dance classes and got to participate in a Flash Mob and a finale show with the casts.The latter was especially fun since I got a back-stage pass to the prep work, rehearsals, and final performance. No to mention that all the dancing help burn calories for more food!

It was fairly disorganized. However in all fairness they are trying to make it smooth the best they can with the CDC rules.

Always have a great time when we go on Carnival Cruises. They offer great services and we have a blast everytime.

Very crowded and confusing parking situation. Glad for the free shuttle service from parking lots to port. Otherwise my cruise was absolutely awesome. Met some great people. Was definitely not ready to end my vacation and am excited to take my next cruise on CARNIVAL DREAM.

Nice, I went to Cozumel, Mexico twice on Carnival. Everyone here was very nice.

My friend told me that the process for getting on a cruise is long and frustrating but when I went on Dec 10th 2017 that was definitely not the case. Everyone got on quick and frustration free. I loved my cruise and will definitely be doing it again.

Smooth Sailing

First cruise, went to Cayman islands, Jamaica and cozumel. Had the most amazing experience ever. Met life long friends. Will only cruise carnival from now on they really go above and beyond to make guest happy

Quickly got to ship. But a little run down. People that work there are great. Not like other other ports it in an industrial area

Wonderful staff and amazing vacation. The staff was always extremely kind and accommodating. I loved mid-day tea time and the activities at the pool. We went during my bday month and they gave me a $50 gift card to the spa which a nice touch! Things that could use improvement - Comedians were just OK, hot tubs were cold, food is pretty generic with the exception of chefs table which is AMAZING (posted below). Overall I had a lovely vacation but would also like to explore other cruise lines.

The carnival breeze was a lot of fun. By far the best cruise director. Food was surprisingly good. Only thing it lacked was activities for the younger kids.

It went by fast. I spent my 21st birthday here they made everything so special. We made alot of friends. If you bring a speaker with you can only use it on the top deck. And strictly no drones we got in trouble with ours and made us deleted all the videos and pics. Besides that had an amazing time.

Plenty of space and enough staff to keep the flow of people moving.

I was able to explore around Galveston a little bit before boarding for a Caribbean Cruise with Carnival. There are a lot of eateries and touristy locations near the Port, so you do not have to wait hours with nothing to do.

This was our first cruise and I have to say it was a great experience! All the staff was absolutely wonderful, everyone was super nice. Shout out to a great Steward, Anthony and Lead Waiter, Sherwin for your great customer service. We experienced 3 excursions on this trip in Cozumel, Belize and Mahogany Bay. Each destination was Great! Loved it, and we plan to do it again. Although there is a few things that could make it better for everyone, overall we enjoyed ourselves. Thanks Carnival Freedom for a great experience.

Loved the cruise! First timer. Great hardworking staff throughout the ship.They all should get a raise!!!Lots of choices for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. You will definitely get spoiled with the comfort, soft pillows, ocean view from balcony, and the excursions if you choose to get off the ship.Our assigned Posh restaurant staff: Hector, Richard, and Genic were fun, entertaining, and made dining very elegant and enjoyable. All three worked very hard every day!! Our whole family will miss them. :(Our room steward, Antonio kept our room so clean and surprised us with towel animals each day, which our children enjoyed!!Pack lanyards for your sailing key card, surge protector with multiple outlets for charging devices, alarm/clock radio if you like, since there are no clocks in the rooms, thank you cards to thank the great staff, sunscreen, sunglasses, and hats.The maintenance of the ship itself is admirable, every area of the ship is assigned with reliable staff.Director Malcolms humor and morning wake up rooster calls will be missed. :(Comedy club was enjoyable.Heart soul musical was also enjoyable.Be patient with waiting on elevators, relax and have a good time.Fun for all.

Fun fun fun. This boat is amazing with great service provided by all. Aerial in room service, Brighton in the red rum bar, Leila in the players club bar, Tommy in the punchline comedy club, Jerome & team in the Chic dinning hall made our experience memorable. Lots of entertainment, events, and food to keep everyone happy. Recommended to all. However guest services is always understaffed. The internet is unacceptably slow and hard to find a good connection. The TV looses reception constantly and is mostly just advertising for the sales by Carnival. Warning: this boat has a constant vibrating problem especially over the engines. It made it very hard for many in our party to eat dinner without getting sick. Hopefully this can be repaired quickly.

I just got off of the freedom today and I had a blast!!! The staff were amazing and the entertainment was awesome! I made some new friends aboard the Carnival Freedom as well. Huge shout out to DJ Sly-Eli and cruise director Emma Nixon!! They made my time on the ship way better than the time ashore. Gonna miss em.

I went back on the carnival dream was the last time I was on a cruise ship was when the pandemic started before we got home and i went with some friends of mine and we all had a good time but now Im hereing that the latest that you can cruise again is July 3rd Im so ready for the cruise to begin again and once it does then will see how long before we can book it out of Galveston taxes I loved to cruise with carnival breeze the newest ships this time we have been on several occasions for the cruise ship to restart the prosses again

This was my wife and I’s first cruise and headed to Cozumel, I definitely recommend the balcony as the inner rooms are small and disorienting when the ship is at sea because there no ocean or view to focus on so worth the extra money to me personally, you pretty much eat all day which is free and everywhere, then lounge around and they do have tons of events including dress up nights, bingo, restaurants, bars, clubs, shops, and work out rooms including an out door track, etc, all on a printed daily itinerary left in the rooms, I have to say my favorite part was watching the movies out doors on the deck at the pool during the evenings, the staff was always attentive and never rude, we explored I think the entire ship, I would like to cruise again but I’m thinking a more grown up atmosphere liner, if your a laid back low key type looking for complete romance I recommend another competitor as carnival is known for the party goers but if they offered a good deal for a 3-4 day trip to just get away I’d be willing to sail again with Carnival so over all it’s wasn’t a bad experience at all, it was an experience everyone should have once in they’re life time

Our first cruise. We didnt know what to expect. The terminal seems crazy at first but was well organized. We were on the boat in no time. On the return, the luggage was right where they said it would be. Transportation was readily available and reasonable for five. The cruise itself was incredible.

Most definitely an experience everyone should have at least once . We made it through the port no problems the cruise ship was clean, fun,and everything we expected.The crew blew expectations out of the water. Definitely a wonderful experience.

Always sail Carnival out of Miami, 1st time out of Galveston and it was surprisingly pleasant. Would recommend if you dont mind the distance from Airport to Cruise Port. Uber or Lyft are available for rides.

Sailed on the Carnival Dream and we had a great time. The food options were awesome at any time of day. There are things to do all day and until 12 midnight or just lounge in the shade or the sun. Just a few suggestions, bring a water bottle, a coffe tumbler, a lanyard, sun screen and bug spray for rxcursions, buy a water proof case for your phone on Amazon and save some money. You can take a 12 pack of soda per person we are not soda drinkers but many people were. Like others have said be prepared to be pampered by the hard working staff. Oh if you drive your own vehicle you will pay for private parking about $10 per day.

This was my first cruise. Everyone that I asked told me that my favorite part about the boat would be the food. It was my least favorite part. The excursions were expensive so my husband and I made our own fun.

Going on a cruise! Well first off,make sure you have all your paperwork IDs and if you choose to purchase excursions not of Carnivals print them before you go on board. Because if you have to print it you will have to purchase the internet package and it doesnt always work. Also alcohol, you can bring one bottle of wine or champagne on board but make sure its not a beer champagne, they will take it. Has to be made with grapes. Also they charge to pop corks $15 per bottle so bring one of your own or you can buy a souvenir one in shop for $20. Have screw on tops.Take care of your bills and any thing you need to pay for before going or getting on board. Same thing about internet and also no calls on your phone. So you cant do any bill paying because not a good connection or just so busy with 800 people using it at the same time. Some familys brought walkie talkies. So that was a smart way to keep in touch with family.Make sure you have enough money on your credit or debit card you used for your staterooms, because that is how you buy anything on board. And u dont have to too cash because they charge you in the end per person in cabins. Unless u want to and dont care.Most food is free, some locations charge like Sushi, certain Burger places, and some main dinning rooms. But if you have a room with dinning included they serve you three times a day, breakfast,lunch,dinner. There is only one place open late night on Freedom cruise and it a pizza shop. It is a 6 on my scale but I have some high standards. But it is good if you are hungry after partying and dancing all night.Bring a lanyard with a plastic cover or ziplock like closer if you dont want to buy one for your ID and stateroom key card.If you are snorkeling at a beach or place you can bring your own gear because some places charge you $30 to use theres. I also suggest that when going dont go to far from ships and go to locations the carnival can send you too.We went to Playa Mia which wasnt on there excursions but it was close drive and for 5 people $360 isnt bad. That included entry, all you can eat,drink and transportation to Playa Mia and back to mall by ships. You can tip driver if you like. Also there is another place but Carnival doesnt sell it, Mr Sanchos, you can go online and pay $5 per person to hold your spot and when you get there its $59 per person for all you can drink and eat but other stuff included cost extra.This is in Cozumel.In Jamaica is a hop,on,hope off buss that takes you around town to locations and stops so you can get off to look and back on to tour and back to ship. $40,per person.And in Cayman Islands we went snorkeling it was nice but was in walking distance if ship, only down side if your not a strong swimmer, there is a current you have to swim thru to get to the sunken ship wreck. It was $39 per person. It was really cool. Also you can buy this on the ship and they can print tickets for you.Also the sting Ray starfish adventure. Its higher like $79 per person but my Aunt and other family members liked it alot.Over all I love it. It was our first trip as a family and I cant wait to do it again. So bring your sunscreen and goggles and come sail away to the sea of fun. Thanks Carnival for a Great Time.

We took a 7 day cruise on the Carnival Freedom we went to Montego Bay Jamaica, Cayman Islands, and Conzumel. Rodrigo took very good care of our room cleaned twice a day, clean towels, bucket full of ice at all times, very nice and friendly, the food was very good they had lots of activities for kids and grown ups they also have a casino, spa, grown ups only section, theatre, karaoke, lots of stores to shop, art gallery, and you can drop off your kids at the kids place so you can get some time for yourself, a fitness center, ECT, ECT, all the employees are very nice and polite always keeping the ship clean I definitely recommend The Carnival Freedom.

Alright cruise, obviously not my thing. I found myself only getting food and going to the comedy shows. What I did in between was a huge struggle. I mean you could go to elderly arthritis seminars, gamble my familys future away at the casino, or lose my dignity going to towel animal theater, those didnt really appeal to me unfortunately. Staff is exceptional though except for the snobbish Italians that actually run and navigate the ship and act like they own the darn ship (maybe they do actually).

Wonderful trip. Key West, Freeport, Nassau Bahamas 7 days

This was the easiest time I have had on any cruise so far. Both to enter and exit the port. Made the trip even better when you dont have long delays.

Prior to covid we always cruised Carnival and we will continue to do so once they get all the ships back in operation.

We had a blast. Kids happy wife happy what else can I ask for. We be returning soon

Amazing ships! The crews are always so awesome and there is so much to do on every ship! Youll never be bored! My fiance and I have taken 3 cruises now and are going on our 4th next January! All of our cruises have been through Carnival and I have no complaints! Love the adult sections. They have jacuzzis and very comfortable lounging areas! Thanks Carnival!

Oh the tales I could tell of my carnival cruises. my next Cruise which is two and a half weeks away will be Cruz number 10 for me. I am ready. I cannot wait. Its still winter here in Houston so when I get on that cruise ship at the end of this month and stale into the sunset I know that soon enough the weather will be hot and sunny and beautifully warm in the 90s. Cant wait to go

Carnival Valor . Beautiful, Fun and Memorable 5 day vacation! All staff were amazing hosts! Food and Drinks and all shows were great!

We took the Freedom to Belize, Cozumel, and Roatan. Food was good. Disappointing that after 11 only free food is pizza. Room service charges after 10. Beds were comfortable. We were interior with bunks that came down over our heads. Will bang your head if you forget they are there in the middle of the night. Comedy shows were good. Not much to do after midnight. Excursions were twice the price than booking on your own. Cant buy all inclusive drink package unless everyone in your room buys it. Very disappointing since only 2 out of 4 of us drink.

Fabulous trip. Crew was awesome. Shore excursions at the Port calls were fabulous. Want to head back out to sea. Sunsets were awesome.

Great cruises, less relaxing but more fun. If you want relaxing I recommend Royal Caribbean. If you want relaxing and fun try the Carnival spa.

Carnival service is amazing, incredible food. No better value for a vacation! The main shows have been going downhill, however the smaller bands are great!

Cant even say enough for this cruise line. The people are outstanding and the ships are awesome. The foods great and the drinks are even better. You mus th go and visit the Red Frog pub. Their beer is outstanding from their micro brewery. Have fun!

Carnival Vista floor plan is so aggravating it is not funny. This vessel is set up with plenty of womens bathrooms you can find but mens restrooms just go back to your cabin. Although the food is much better tasting on Carnival compared to Royal Caribbean there is not much of a selection and you can not get your own bacon, for breakfast. Guys burgers on this boat is awesome the Guys BBQ ... not so much. The lobster for formal dining is amazing but small, the shrimp cocktail are small as well, and good. Get the bubbles drink package or you will be stuck to drinking fish smelling water or bitter lemonade. There is plenty to do on the boat not much shopping though and what was there really wasnt that great of a deal. At the Port of calls I wish there was a mandate that they could only sell local products not things made in China to resell. Do yourself a favor and if traveling to Jamaica by cruise ship stay on the boat unless your port of call is Foul-mouth then that port of call not the country is awesome. Everything in Cayman islands and Cozumel is great!
