Over the past 35 years I have had haicuts at eight different Galveston barbers. All were reasonably priced and skilled. As they went out of business I found other barbers. Presently (Feb. 2021) I go to Cutting Edge, a no foo-foo, no frills location for mens haircuts with high-end, professional barbers. My advice is, get your hair cut at Cutting Edge. You will receive a GREAT haircut in a no nonsense shop for a reasonable price ($15).

Great service the owner was very helpful Im a single mother trying to get my two little boys a haircut we are new in town and she welcomed us with open arms. I would greatly recommend this barbershop. The stylist are skilled reasonable prices and great atmosphere all around..thanks!!

First, let me say that I’ve been a customer for about 3 years now and I always get great haircuts here but today my experience here was’t pleasant at all.When I came in, there were two people ahead of me, so I waited my turn. When my turn came, Kameron (The walk-in guy) decided that someone that entered after me had an appointment and he had to do his hair first, which took another 45mins.This is absolutely disrespectful and shows no regard for the customer’s time. I really liked this place and recommended it to many of my friends, but I won’t be coming

I am writing this review on behalf of my patient. We went in as a walk in just by googling shops in the area. It was a very clean and pleasant environment from staff greeting us upon entering and thanking us for coming when leaving. Once leaving he expressed how much he liked his haircut by Kameron. He stated that as long as hes been getting haircuts in his 50+ years no one has ever been thorough, precise, and take their time especially now that he has brain surgery scars. He couldnt believe the quality and it was in his budget. He also said that knows where to stop by if he come back to Galveston.

I refuse to go anywhere else! I absolutely love Margie & her crew. Always nice, quick & my boys always come out looking sharp. 😊 5 stars for Cutting Edge from us! See yall soon.

I went there expecting a wait.. but after an hour and a half I just couldnt wait anymore I had to get on with my day. 3 barbers, and the work they were doing looked good.. just busy, and slow added to a really long wait. It shouldnt take 45min to buzz and fade a guys hair.

My son will go no where else!! Stephen gives a precision cut!! Worth the wait time.

Honestly the value of this place is insane. As a student for 8$ get your hair and beard done is a steal. Santiago is my go to guy, super nice, super chill, awesome experience. Im going to be sad when I leave Galveston.
