I walked in last week to get prices and see unit’s- and Bobby was more than happy to help. He was very friendly and professional.. He was able to hold a unit for me for a week and I came bk got everything taken care of.. very happy with everything.

Getting a second unit and Bobby has been so helpful. I’ve never had any issues in a second floor climate controlled unit.

Frist of all...if you are a night mover...this place is not for you. The literally lock you in after 10:00 p.m. I arrived at 8:30 and my three different codes they gave me over the last week did not work to get in the gate. I had to wait for someone coming out cuz the office had already closed. I had two trucks and two trailers I thought I would be done by 10:00...I left at 11😬 . We knocked on the office door and someone came out.. we asked him to please let us out and he was kind of rude and said he was supposed to call the cops if ppl where there past 10:00 p.m. I apologized and told him it wouldnt happen again...he continued being rude but let us out in the end. I understand I was breaking the rules and his frustration but aside from that, I have two units there and the dollies yall provider great but the little black and gray ones are hard to control. Also one of the untis door gets stuck trying to pull it down. All in all I would not recommend this place.

Great Experience! I chose this place as it looked secure clean and well run, I was not disappointed! Rodney did a great job of giving me my options and then signing me up for a unit, it was an effortless process which I so appreciate when you are dealing with the hassles Of moving! I highly recommend them!

The property manager (Mr. Rodney) is a complete ANGEL SENT!!!Rodney was very knowledgeable and efficient with the move in process! What I liked most about the entire process was the fact that he LISTENED to my every issue and concern. Although this facility is convenient and did not flood during Hurricane Ike, the current managers appear to struggle with insect control. I’ve had a unit much of the past 15 years, but have seen dead roaches in my climate controlled building every time for the past several months. This NEVER happened under previous managers. Fortunately, I’ve not seen any inside to my unit -fingers and toes crossed!!!!!

It sucked.Hard to get in and out of.I recommend Watson & Taylor Storage 828 60th Street.Easy to get out of with a long U-haul,truck & trailer etc.The on site staff are very professional. excellent customer service.

I recommend calling here to find out your options if you are looking for storage in Galveston. Out of everybody that I called this was the best customer service. Larry answered my questions and told me options and situations in and out of the company. To protect my personal belongings. Also this seemed to be the company with the best priced units. Coupled with great customer care and prices! I took the time out of my day to write this company because I was blown away by that customer service! Thank you Larry!

This storage facility is easy to access, safe, clean, air conditioned and it didnt even flood in Ike. Our movers told us it was also the nicest storage facility on the island (and they have been in them all). I like that it does not have shared air between units (another storage place had a mesh ceiling and so if one unit had fleas, they all did).

Spent a week at a resort in Galveston that did not allow boat parking. Called Rodney at 89th and Stewart and he went out of his way to find me a parking spot in the facility to store my boat at night. What an OUTSTANDING effort for an onsite manager! Worked out perfect, had a fantastic vacation. THANK YOU RODNEY. Hope to see you next year!

Katie and Drew have excellent customer service and make you feel welcome at their storage facility. I used them once before to store some items short term, and when I had to store my belongings again when moving out I didnt even bother looking for any where else, but contacted them again to rent a unit. The facility is clean and well maintained, has plenty of units to select from, and a FREE moving truck to use for moving your items if you rent a unit from them. They also will give you a $10 rebate if you write a review here on Google Places. I wouldnt hesitate to rent from them again and highly recommend them to anyone looking to store their belongings.

Ive used Stewart & 89th Self Storage for awhile now, my family has used them and anyone i have known in Galveston has also. Number one storage unit in Galveston. Katie and Drew are loyal and make you feel so welcomed. They know there guests that store with them by heart. So helpful with the moving process as in using carts to move your belongings, and free moving truck. The place is very clean and never had any problems with them at all. Very Lenient if you dont pay right on the 1 st of the month. Would recommend before choosing any other storage unit on the island.

Theses people are so nice and friendly. They have great customer service, and I feel that my belongings are safe because they have GREAT security and insurance! I have no complaints! These people are awesome!

This storage unit is very good, probably one of the best that I have dealt with. They are friendly people, and they even assisted with me maneuvering a 26 moving truck and trailer successfully out of the lot. I would suggest them to anyone who is on the Island!

Crystal MorenoSelf Storage on 89th has excellent custumer service. They helped me pick the right storage room for my belongings. I also love the fact that the storage room have climate control, that way I know despite the weather, my belongings will always be secure and fresh.

A little expensive but worth it in the long run. Property has been raised 6-8 ft at least and the AC unit all have indoor access.

I have used Stewart & 89th Self Stroage several times and I have chosen to use them again! The staff are very kind and very helpful! I think they actually have someone on the property at all times, day and night. I had my belongings in storage here during the 2008 Hurricane (Ike) and ALL of my stuff made it without incident! They have security cameras and a gated entrance, so I always feel my things are safe. I aways rent a climate controlled unit, but they have others that are not climate controled, as well (all units of varying sizes and costs). I highly recommend this storage facility over any other on the island!

If you are looking for a storage unit facility with a professional environment a management team that knows you by name, maintains everyones confidentiality, and runs a 5 star operation, this is the place to chose. I had intended to stay a short duration but I have been so pleased with the unit and the cleanliness and safety of my belongings I have stayed a long time. THis facility has all sizes and climate controlled or non climate controlled units. I have never had any problems parking or approaching the staff. When Katie and Drew say they are there during business hours they are really working hard for the best of ALL tenents. Not only did they not have flood damage during Ike, the facility is clean, secure and 5 stars in my opinion. If you are looking and undecided, try Stewart and 89th street, you will be happy you made the call.
