I usually don’t go to smartstyle here, and today I reminded why. I missed my normal barber for the day so I went to smartstyle. Upon arriving I checked-in and waited. After 45 minutes of waiting next to the register, because the chairs were taken, one of the ladies tells me to “sit in the seats or I could be skipped”, to which I said “I think I already have been.” They ignored me. At this point I had been skipped by 2 other customers. When I asked 1 lady how much longer the wait was, she rudely said I have to wait for the other lady. Needless to say, I left without a haircut.My first question is WHY DID I SIGN IN WITH MY NAME AND NUMBER IF THEY ARE JUST GONNA SKIP ME FOR NOT SITTING IN A SEAT?? Shouldn’t they have called my name? I was literally standing next to the register.My second question is HOW AM I SUPPOSED TO TAKE A SEAT IF THEY ARE ALREADY TAKEN?? Was I supposed to sit on someone’s lap??Third question, ARE THESE PEOPLE TRAINED AT ALL FOR CUSTOMER SERVICE? They seemed to not care at all about me.Never going back and telling all to do the same.

The times that I have gone to get a haircut I didnt have to wait. The most wait time has been about 5 minutes. Ive always gotten good service. Thank you ladies.

Went in there for a haircut. I was told by the ladies there it was a 30 to 45 minute wait and to sign in. The ladies were just all sitting there with only two ladies getting their hair done. The machine said it was a 2 minute wait. I dont think these ladies want to cut hair. I ended up going somewhere else.

Always rude n customer service is always bad. Hate coming here n ive tried n tried to forgive them. Yet never fails they will be rude n treat a person rude. I suggest west side haircuts.

Not friendly at all and my hair was cut uneven. Worst place ever!

Was told to come back the next business day for someone to color my hair cause that lady was not available so I called ahead of time the next day and asked and they made me an appointment. When I got there the person was rude and was like oh I can’t do that. Even after I specifically said on the phone what I wanted. I normally take my son there to get his hair cut as well but they just lost my business.

They dont like to help you here. They chase you off and tell you there is a 2 hour wait. Rude when telling you to sign in.

I called in advance and I was told that they can make room for a haircut.. but when I show up from driving out of town.. I get told they r cleaning up, and cant cut my hair!. And when Im still talking, this lady just walks away!!!. And acts like she cant hear me.! Poor customer service, Very rude, unprofessional, and a waste of my time to come all the way out here just to get told no..

I have had good service here in the past. Right now im here waiting for a haircut when two stylist tell me they will be right with me, then head outside for a cigarette break. They wont be getting my money...

Unsatisfied with one of the ladies that cut my sons hair.... and the other one did a great job... I had to re cut one of my sons hair myself because she left so many long pieces and I believe she needs some new clippers because it did not sound like right... come on girl get it together and put a smile on your face and get some new clippers.

I had very bad experience at this hair salon the lady had bad attitude at first when i got in and she was in a hurry and she was cutting my hair in 5 minutes and she told and she forced me to go and wash my hair i said no then she didn’t cut my hair right and then she said I’m done and come see me in front desk waiting for you she was old lady her name was Percy I guess she cannot work and do her job right, then i was asking for manager that the other lady her name was Audrey said manager just gone and she was very nice lady she said i can cut you hair right and she did it perfect i appreciate her job this kind of people can change the society and world with their beautiful attitude and job. Horrible! I walked in and she excitedly asked if I wanted a hair cut and I said no a trim with one more layer to my long layers. By the time she was done butchering me my shortest layer was up to my ears. She has the nerve to tell me you still have your length. My hair has natural curls, therefore even shorter. Dont make the same mistake I made, pay the extra amount for better services elsewhere!

They were pretty fast but did a good job

They did an OK job on my mother and I. If you get your hair cut here, be prepared to be verbally abused and your previous haircut to be paraded around about how awful it is. Employees are very rude, on their phones, and gossiping the entire time. But I guess thats what we get for coming to Gallup Walmart for a haircut. 🤦🏽‍♀️

Although advertised thru Google...I havent found a smart style salon which has a person who recognizes natural curly from ethnic. Ami Joe put so many snarles n my hair that Im facing cutting them out. She charged me for full style past shoulder length hair, what she gave me - two corn row braids then braded them together down the back; in my wet hair!! I requested one french braid and kept correcting her reference to corn row and ethnic hair. Disappointed and irate that; she was confident in treating me with such disregard! PSYCHOPATHY to say the least. I only post one thumb up to submit review.

Dont get your hair colored here, Unless, u wanna see the Dye all over your Forehesd and scalp. Bad Dye job, period...
