The place is always clean and the personal are very nice and helpful. The prices are very reasonable. I like the choice of salt flavor to put on my popcorn.

Everyone is usually friendly here. Theyve hosted drag shows and small local bands and film festivals here. I have always enjoyed all the events they line up for us.

Great show Wake killed it. Jivin SCIENTISTS did as well..thanks for hosting our hometown heroes! Jude did awesome on sound..if Zia Sounds puts on a show there you better go.

Historical. though it may be old. You can feel that once it was lively. Everyone there is exceptionally nice. I love visiting.

Went for the grand re-opening, and what a gem! The screen and projector and speakers were great. And the seats are all re-done. Just like I remember it as a kid and would love to go back

Built in 1928, it still has a classic feel but is in excellent shape. Very affordable.

The staff here is amazing! Aaron and Melissa really take care of the customers. I only wish they would do some obscure 1st run movies. Maybe some foreign films.

Beautiful environment to be surrounded by.. best place in town bar none! Would LOVE to see The Beguiled play there, none of the other theatres will show it. Wink wink. 😉

The El Morro has a lot of charm and history. It is clear from the moment you walk in that you are in something different. I caught a live performance there recently and really enjoyed the atmosphere. When i was a kid, I remember this place being a movie theater but now it looks like they cater more towards live performance but it was still a great experience. I will definitely go back the next time Im in Gallup.

Great historic theatre showing great films. Their popcorn toppings are the best. Very friendly staff, clean bathrooms, good snacks.

I used this place to host my fundraising event and I must say the theater was what I needed and on the other side of the theater was a place I held my dinner and auction. What I didnt like was management allowing other people that wanted to rent the room come in on my time money and space to show them what it was going to look like if they set it up in this way so I thought that that was pretty rude and inconsiderate but overall my fundraiser went well that was the only issue that I had.

The El morro is a great theatre. I will always support this theatre... I was excited to see that they are bringing Low riders a movie I had been waiting for for months I was very disappointed when the other local theatre did not bring this movie in.. Thank you El morro u will always and forever be my theatre.. Even if I have to wait to watch a movie. Thats OK. With me id rather spend my money here.. Thanx again ur awesome!!!!

Making the Route66 pass through the theater, there was a smell of 🍿 so rich that I could not stop trying them, bought a bag and sat down to watch a movie. The guys who attend the movies are very friendly, they know how to speak Spanish. ;).
