Norm assumed managing our property in the middle of a crisis - an unfortunate eviction for nonpayment. He efficiently and professionally resolved the situation with respect for the tenant and concern for our needs. He promptly re-leased the home to minimize our losses. As his website says, 5% of property management is collecting rent, 95% is everything else. Norm is great at the “everything else.“ We have another property out of state and the quality of management between the two is like night and day. The other manager does nothing more than collect rent and ignores maintenance issues. Norm on the other hand is great about letting us know when things need to be fixed or upgraded. He recommends whether it’s urgent or can wait a while. He gives us the most affordable options and takes care of scheduling the work quickly. He sends pictures before and after. He‘s responsive, following up quickly via phone, text or email. His website allows quick access to information and automatically forwards maintenance requests (tenants can go online and make requests). My husband works in construction and has a lot of his own subcontractors. Norm has been very flexible working with us when we chose to have our own people do the work. On the tenant side, he stays in touch and always seems to know their situation in detail. He keeps tenants aware of their responsibilities. He sends regular and seasonal updates about home maintenance issues tenants need to attend to in order to keep our property in good shape. And he goes above and beyond by keeping us aware of legislation and regulations at the local and state level that affect landlords, encouraging us to advocate for necessary. Bottom line: Norm and the Red Maple team have done a great job for us and I highly recommend him as your property manager!

I heard of Red Maple via word of mouth, and am so glad I did! As a landlord, I knew that my condo and tenants were in no better hands than with Norm and his team. They are incredibly responsive, organized and professional, and enabled me to rent out my condo without a single worry! I recently rented a house with Red Maple Realtors from summer of 2019-summer of 2020. Norm was extremely responsive from the initial site visit all the way through now. We only had to put in 1 work order and Norm was all over it. His team is extremely professional, I met Salina and Todd who are also great people. Salina was great with all of the move in and move out information and helping keep me on track and organized with some of the utility companies. Red Maple & Team is by far the best real estate property management company out there. With a tenant history myself for several years and being employed at a real estate firm, I deal with companies all the time both personally and professionally. Red Maple Realtors handled our rental property for the past 5 years. Their management was excellent - quality renters, great maintenance service, and basically a worry free experience. If you need a property manager, Norm Walters and his team is who you should call.

Twice now dealing with Red Maple. Online scheduling system is a joke. I went to 2 different apartments, had confirmed scheduled viewings, first resident had no knowledge of appointment. Second viewing, current resident stated that the appointment was cancelled...I guess it was not worth while to send the potential renter that information. Twice, my roommate and I left work early for these viewings, and twice we were let down by no one showing up. Any rental I see with Red Maple, I am immediately taking out of consideration.

Same problem with the ridiculous unreliable scheduling. No one gets back to you.
