The worse, inexperienced orthodontist!! #1. She started what in the beginning she said she could fixed, but while in the middle of my treatment she said it couldn’t get any better. She kept trying, but I stop seeing additional changes.. mine you we were 20 months in when she said it would take only 9-12 months. #2. She went out the country without leaving a back up and I had to go for weeks with a broken bracket and wires hanging causing pain. I had to pay out of pocket to another dentist to fix my issue. Her lack of experience led me to file a grievance against her after getting a second opinion and my insurance agreed in my favor.... She had to refund the money they paid her and I was given mine back. Now, I’m with a new Orthodontist who is fixing what she claimed couldn’t be fixed... Oh my goodness!! It’s only been three months and I see tremendously change!!

The staff and dentist are incredibly friendly. The office is nice and clean as well. Its hard to find a good dentist but I highly recommend this practice.Specially Jenny she so pretty, smart and nice women she is the best.

I am only on my second visit, but so far I am pleased with Dr. Roxana and her staff. Dr. Roxana is very personable and extremely confident in her expertise, which is the reason I chose her office over some competitors. I love her assistant too,(cant remember his name!) because he explains every step of the process as he does stuff to my teeth, and makes sure Im comfortable at all times. I received great treatment for my braces at Smiles by Roxana. The front desk staff were (usually) knowledgeable and always very polite. Ive been a client here for approximately two years and while there have been numerous changes that annoyed me, the staff was honest in explaining the situation. Id experience a lack of communication from the staff at times in exchange for excellent service from the doctor when checking on the progress of my teeth. Dr. H is definitely a perfectionist, and for that I am grateful - my teeth look great. When you are a client in an establishment for a while it is expected that there will be ups and downs, and that was surely my experience here at Smiles by Roxana. Id recommend this orthodontist to anyone.

Showed up earlier for my appointment to complete paperwork. I was in the door at 7:45 AM. I had to wait for about 10 minutes to be greeted since the staff was too busy gossiping loudly in the back and talking poorly about their colleagues. After being greeted, I was provided the paperwork needed for first time patients... Part of the paperwork is to fill out a survey regarding your experience at the office. Slightly odd, to be filling out a survey prior to being seen. I waited until 8:20 AM to see what was going on since my appointment was at 8 AM. The receptionist was VERY RUDE AND UNPLEASANT. She began to argue with me about my arrival time, and stormed to the back started to share with another staff member the situation and goes.. she is ridiculous. Lets just say the experience was not pleasant and I left before being seen.** I told her to feel free and check her cameras to prove to her that she was mistaken and that I had truly been in the office at 7:45 AM.They also allowed another patient who arrived about 20 minutes after me to head to be back prior to seeing me. I never made it past the waiting room.

This is my first time having an orthodontist, and the service from all the staff and dentist are excellent. Auria and Jessica provides you a great friendly customer service and they are willing to work with your tied schedule. Within this three months I have seen a great improvement in my teeth and smile. Very highly recommended.

Very nice staff, great knowledgeable specialist orthodontist. I liked that she has additional education and not just a general dentist. I am a picky mom, I do too much, and yes I research. Aurea the front desk manager and patient coordinator is very nice, and helpful. Her along with the doctor make sure to explain throughly your treatment. Great customer service, I highly recommend. Dr. Homayoun and her team are fantastic. I had very difficult teeth since I had braces before a long time ago that moved. Dr. H was super focused on getting my teeth right and took her time with me. I’m extremely happy about that. The staff there, Jennifer and Rosa are super sweet. Leah was the most gentle person with my sensitive teeth and amazing. I love this place, I’m so glad to have such perfect teeth now, but I’m sad I won’t be able to bother anybody about my ortho work anymore. I highly recommend this practice.

Very thankful to Dr. H! Ive had braces since September for crowded teeth and an overbite, and less than a year later, I can already see drastic results. Having a confident smile is life-changing!! The process is pretty simple and I generally stop in once a month to change bands, wires, whatever Dr. H recommends. Desiree and Stephanie are always very quick. This place is also surprisingly affordable which was a plus for someone who babysits for a living and go to college.

Dr. Homayoun did not rush my free consultation for ortho treatment. She was patient with answering all my questions and concerns. She makes coming to the dentist a pleasant experience. The office is clean and the staff is very friendly. By the end of my first appointment, the office felt very familiar and I enjoy coming back here for my appointments.

Overcharged us by almost 900$, still waiting to get our money back, the work was done in January! . All the work that was done was reevaluated and has to be redone. Fillings were not filed down properly, teeth aching for months. The worst dental experience ever.

I have been a Ortho patient since October 2016 and I must say I love this place!!!! I am always greeted with the best smiles and customer service as soon as I walk in the door by the front desk receptionist Aurea and Jessica. They always check me in and out in a timely manner so that Im not sitting around all day. All their stafff is extremely nice and professional especially Dr. Roxana she loves what she does and is very patient when doing my adjustments. There prices are very reasonable and they have awesome payment plans to accommodate everyone. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone wanting braces.

I came to Smiles by Roxana about 2 years ago but the timing on my part just wasnt right for me to get braces. I recently visited the office and I am more than impressed. First the receptionist John defines the word professional. He has been communicating with me ever since I came in to inquire about getting my braces done. Everyone in the office is wonderful. I was a little bit hesitant as to what changes I may face but Iris put all my worries to ease. She took time to break down pricing and alternative options when it comes to the financial aspect of braces. I came in for a cleaning with Dr.Rofe and even though I wasnt super excited to hear that it looks like I need to get all 4 of my wisdom teeth removed, Dr.Rofe and the gentleman that assisted her were so nice! I thought that I would have to take care of my wisdom tooth before getting braces but I was informed Dr.Homayoun can still go ahead and place on my braces. Another staff member went out their way to contact me and inform me of this which made my day. I can definitely relate to bad office experiences but for any one that had a bad experience at Smiles at Roxana in the past, I strongly encourage you to give them another try. Im so happy I did and the best part is Im getting my braces tomorrow !!! I looking forward to this journey with Smiles by Roxana and so glad I decided to return 2 years later.

I took my 5 years old son for a routine check-up today but we had the worst experience ever. We went there only to get the examination done, as we had made our point clear that this is required from the school done but they were pushing us to get the X-ray and cleaning done as well. As there is some offer going on for $99.00 for the new patient plus I dont have the dental covered in our insurance so I went ahead with this option.It all started when the nurse wanted to take the x-ray for my sons teeth. My son did try to co-operate and did try to let them fit the device in his mouth but I had realized that they did not have any separate device for the kid. The device was big for my sons mouth and he couldnt take that so they had to drop the plan to take the x-ray, because it made him uncomfortable and he started to gag. The way it was projected that he is not co-operating and gagging, was put us in a fix.Then, the doctor, Navneet Dhariwal, started the cleaning procedure but she wasnt successful; my son was co-orperative initially but he did not like the taste of the fluid and he started getting uncomfortable and started crying. Instead of making the kid comfortable, she started telling me that she cant allow the kid to scream here. All these tools, the setup is new for my son. It should be their job to handle all kind of patient; doesnt matter if they are coming for the first time. She started telling us that he is not used to visit the dentist so thats why he is not co-operating and she had left the session there. Worst was that she was blaming my son for not co-operating and screaming (he wasnt though; yes he was crying, looking at the new setup and hearing those noise of their tools).So, no x-ray, no cleaning was done but still they charged me $99.00 just to write something on the piece of paper which I need to submit to his school. They dont know how to handle kids; they should put a notice on their portal, office, website, saying, they dont handle first timers.I would definitely not recommend this place to any parent.

I got my braces from Smiles by Roxana at Kentlands in Gaithersburg. I had a bad bite at first and took quite some time to be fixed but with Dr. Hs help, my bite is fixed and my teeth are more aligned. There was a time that during the process of getting my bite fixed that I had troubles biting and talked about it with her and she patiently explained to me and my aunt why that was. Keep good communication with your ortho!
