I discovered my internet wasnt working at the speeds I had paid for, and it was suggested by the Verizon tech that it was my laptop (4 years old) that was the culprit. Because I couldnt manage to improve my speeds after a bit of googling and trying to change my settings, I began to look for a local repair with the hope that a little time with a professional would sort things out. I didnt want to buy a new laptop. I called Wind Computing and spoke with a person there who told me it was probably my older laptop that was slowing down my connection speed, and I should try a USB wi-fi adapter. He suggested going on Amazon to find one. There was no charge for this advice. I did as he said; Amazon had it to my door on Sunday, and I stumbled through downloading and installing the drivers, but OH EM GEE WAS THAT EVER GREAT ADVICE! My connection speed has more than tripled! Fifteen bucks for the hardware and the advice was free. I am so very grateful! The very least I can do is leave a stellar review on Google and promise to bring all my computing needs to Wind Computing from now on. I called Moses late afternoon on Friday regarding an issue with my computer - no hard drive space remaining and files suddenly lost. He gave me options and advice over the phone and we agreed that Id bring my computer to him later that afternoon. I got to his place just before 5:00 and he spent a good 45 minutes with me, looking at the computer and laying out options. I followed his recommendation to install a new (much larger) hard drive, which he ordered that evening. I told him that, if at all possible, I was hoping to have the computer back by Sunday so as to be able to take it to my office Monday morning. On Saturday he texted several times, to update me on the file recovery process. On Sunday morning he let me know that the computer was ready to pick up. He had installed the new hard drive, put several programs on the computer and had recovered a large amount of the files that had been lost. His fee was very reasonable.Later that afternoon I took the computer into my office to set it up for Monday morning. I was able to get my printer and fax/copy/scan machine up and running but I had trouble setting up the network. I called Moses for help and he spent nearly another hour on the phone with me, guiding me through the process, eventually resulting in complete success - network configured and shared files folder set up. Throughout the process he was extremely patient with me and most helpful. I would highly recommend his services to those who are computer illiterate like myself. This guy is AMAZING. I was absolutely desperate. It was the weekend, the rainbow spinning wheel on my MAC had taken over, and I could not get any work done. I had multiple deadlines and to-dos, and I did not feel comfortable leaving my laptop with sensitive information at a standard “overnight service” repair shop. I had a laptop that would not boot up. Moses was super responsive. I texted him late Saturday evening, heard from him that evening. On Sunday, a few more texts and then we dropped off the computer.
