First time going to a barbershop in over a year. Walked in? Immediately the name of the shop came to life. Great vibes all around. My barber made me feel comfortable told him exactly what I was looking for and after seeing how bad my cuts were at home? Fixed me right up. This was incredibly worth it and worth the visit. If i could give a higher rating? I would. If you are in the area definitely worth getting a cut here and they got a permanent customer now.

Great Vibes, the name fits this shop better than anything I could imagine. From the moment I walked in, Dee was kind and welcoming. He was friendly, polite, easy to converse with, and overall a great dude. On top of that, he gave me a slick mid-low bald-fade before trimming my hair and shaping me up. As I walked out, Dee and Jay said goodbye; all I could say was See you soon because this was the best experience Ive had at a barbershop in a decade, and its the only spot Ill go while I live in Montgomery County.

My third time coming to Great Vibes barbershop for my sons haircut, every experience has been nothing but the best. The barbers, (Jay & Dee) are SUPER friendly and welcoming. My son hated every barbershop prior to this one, so when he told me he wanted to come back I said this is THE ONE lol he loves how they cater to him, from putting on his favorite movie, to the pretzel and drink at the end. What really stood out to me beside the AMAZING haircut was the way they treat their customers, they are soooo nice and down to earth. If the kids love them, you know the vibe is right !!!

I just got done with my first haircut here with Jay, and after searching for many (many) years I have found my barbershop. The vibe is unmatched, the conversation was excellent, and my haircut? Certifiably fresh, and that may be an understatement. I felt absolutely at home and I wont be letting anyone other than these folks touch my hair. Why go anywhere else when you’ve found the best?

I had an appointment at 11am with the Barber Jay. Let me tell you! He is amazing!! Jay takes his time to understand what you need and he puts love and care towards your hair. I was looking for a barber that could help me turn my balding hair into something nice looking. I didnt know really what my options were my hair line is extremely receded. I came to Jay with a few ideas and Jay is so friendly. How friendly?After first meeting Jay in a matter of seconds it felt like I was meeting a lifelong friend. After a brief consultation Jay helped me determine options that fit my hair situation/type. Jay executed the haircut flawlessly with ease while maintaining friendly conversation. At no time did I feel uncomfortable or awkward; it was a nice change for me. Usually my experience during a haircut is awkward and rush out the door. Jay completed the haircut right on time we had an hour and he used every last minute to perfect the cut and it exceeded my expectations ten fold. Since moving to the area, Ive been taking my boys here. And it lives up to its name! Jay and Dee change the TV to kid - friendly channels and spoil them with treats. My boys love it and I can relax because theyre in a great atmosphere.

I saw Jay this last Saturday and I couldnt be happier. Hes very professional and took the time to work with to understand how I wanted my cut done. Hes a great guy and easy to talk to. The shop itself is really clean and they have a great set up there. I was really happy with my cut and will definitely be seeing Jay again!

If I could give this place a better rating than a 5 star I would. My appointment was at 1:45, my barber, Jay was on time, professional, focused and a good listener. My son has mixed, thick, corse hair and many barbers are unable to cut his hair correctly. Jay took his time and my sons hair turned out great. Definitely, a place I would recommend for anyone looking for a good barber.

I took my three boys here. The gentleman was very nice. Scheduler was very nice as well. However, I was unsatisfied with my sons cuts and was offered a free cut to fix. I am a very busy woman and this was my first experience here so, in short I turned down the offer. They, then extended an offer of a full refund. I appreciate how well they handled the criticism and customer service was professional and apologetic.Thank you !

I took my nephew today to get a haircut . I was sooo pleased with the service. All of the barbers greeted us with respect. Marwin was so good with my nephew my nephew left out of the barbershop telling Marwin, Youre the BEST. Very good experience @ Great Vibes Barber Shop!!! I went to get my Locs re-twisted but not only did I get my locs re-twisted I got Great Conversation, Great Vibes, and unexpected Confirmations. Beyond that Jay the owner made my children feel comfortable and at home while I sat undisturbed getting my hair done.

I called Marlieli yesterday, we talked, felt comfortable with her and I took my grandson same day for twists. She did a great job. Hes 8 and fidgety but she got him to sit for almost 2 hours! I went to Marieliza for my two strand twist loc installation and returned 1 month later for my retwist. I was nervous about starting locs but shes made the experience so effortless and exciting! She provides all the loc services including wash, detox, retwist, installation, etc. All I have to do at home is keep my scalp moisturized, and she takes care of the rest! The oils and gels she uses smell really good and left my hair moisturized without being too heavy or leaving buildup. If you are new to your loc journey, a seasoned lochead, or looking to switch to a new loctitian, I would one million percent recommend her!
