Went here after another nail salon completely ruined my nails for my wedding. They were able to fix it in a timely manner and charged way less from the unskilled nail salon that botched my nails in the first place. Highly recommend this nail salon!

I spent $40 more than I usually do for the same services I always receive. This was my first time going here. After spending over $215 my nail was still cracked and not fixed which lead to it coming off less than 24 hours later. I asked the nail tech to please make sure it was fixed and I was assured it was. The service was good and the people are nice but they need to be more attentive to detail and work on their skills. My nails, which are gel acrylics, are also the thinnest theyve ever been. I will not be returning to this place nor recommend them. I wish it would allow me to upload a picture.

There have been multiple times my nails have come off DAYS after getting them done, and the workers expect me to sit and wait 30 minutes for ONE nail to be fixed. Furthermore, their pricing is incredibly inconsistent. I’ve asked for the same style multiple times and the pricing for my acrylic nails have ranged from $55-$65 or even $70 for the SAME design.

My go-to nail salon in Gainesville!Pretty Nails was suggested to me by a co-worker and I have been loyal ever since my first visit! The nail techs have always taken their time with each manicure Ive received, never rushing, and ensuring that the polish comes out clean and even. Ive never had any issues with any special requests Ive had, as they always ensure that my nail shape and size turn out exactly how I wanted! Pretty Nails has numerous colors to choose from, both from gel to powder, and they recently ordered an OPI collection as well! In addition to their clean manicures, Ive also never had any issues with their scheduling process. They are always adequately staffed and my preferred nail techs have ample availability when I schedule in advance. Finally, the salon is always well kept and cleanliness is definitely one of their many qualities that give them 5 out of 5 stars!Pretty Nails makes my self-care days easy and I always look forward to coming back for a fresh manicure!

My roommates and I have been loyal customers for the last two years and have finally decided that we are done with Pretty Nails. There have been a combined 10 instances between the three of us where we have either had nails break off within a few days, have been charged inconsistently, not had our cuticles done when requested, received gel when explicitly asked to not, and rude service. I have had the same set done multiple times and have paid $55, $60, and $65- I swear they just pick a price based off of the day. Will not be going back.

I have never been here before today. I admit I had quite the shock factor when they popped my old nails off vs. soaking them off. It didn’t hurt but it’s definitely the first experience like that I’ve had. They were so patient with me and flexible to my design. I had Kenny and he was just amazing. On top of that I paid $20 less than usual and they did removal, after a tip I paid $70. I got Ombré medium coffin nails with an accent finger. Over all I have found my new nail salon, the prices are justified by the beautiful designs and the customer service was great 👍🏽.

Guy at the front couldnt stop playing his soccer game while checking us in, not a great cleanly enviroment, ripped off my polish instead of soaking which ripped my nails shorter (I should have spoken up). I was a walk in and couldn’t be happier with my end result! They were very clean, efficient, and professional. Jimmy even showed me extra pictures on his phone of what he can do and I’m so glad he did because my nails came out beautifully! He made sure all along the way that I liked the result and was very nice. I will definitely be back!

My nail tech Rushed my nails to go smoke outside. He was also rude.Online for a full aet of acyrlics is $30 and $5 extra for shape and length. I knew that i was gonna pay around $45 for the length and my design. I got charged $65 for having gel done when i didnt even ask for gel and they didnt ask nor did they clarify that they were putting gel polish on me. My nail designs and shape ended up being un even and bubbly . The design which should have been flames ended up looking like tenicles and being smeared. . I had asked him to shorten the nails multiple times and he was very rough on my cuticles. Using the drill he went over my skin and not my cuticle/nail. Overall im very unpleased with the service i got and never will go here again

My gel was rushed and it showed. It was a busy Sunday. *edit: was a Saturday* Nails were messy and chipping within 2 days. Came back to have them fixed. Wanted to blame me for washing my hands with soap before having them done. I was told to rinse my hands only and thats what I did. They looked neater the second time, but theyre all chipping again after just 3 days. My previous recent experience with gel nails from other spas in the same conditions as far as work, etc, they lasted until my nails grew out.

Pedicure it was the worst ever they scrub your feet twice then think your supposed be good with the service. I’ll never go back!!! Wack AF

I have been going to pretty nails for the last 6 months and so far, it’s been my favorite nail salon in gainesville. I am giving it 3 stars because I have always been happy with the pricing and color options for my nails and usually the service but I have occasionally had a not so good experience. I once had the nail tech accidentally cut my cuticle pretty badly and have had a few nails turn out crooked that I’ve had to ask them to file down correctly. That being said though, I have tried other nail salons and like this place best which is saying a lot, as I am pretty picky. All the staff is friendly as well and they have A TON of color options for dip manicures

Sooo disappointed with my go-to nail place. Used to go here all the time and get great nails for a great price. Today I got extremely unfriendly service and hostile environment. Jenny forced me to pay an extra $10 for no reason and couldn’t show me where or why this was posted. Way too expensive for basic nails, no massage, no hot towel like usual. Will not be coming back:(

Very disappointed. Went in to get full set acrylics and was totally thrown off by the price. It says 30 online and that’s what I was prepared to pay, plus tip. I made sure to reinforce that when I came in. Huey did my nails and before he painted them, he made me pay. He wanted me to pay 40, 5 extra for coffin and 5 extra for length.(tf how are you supposed to have coffin without length) I told him that this was no where on the website and I wasn’t told this before picking my shape, also I’ve gotten this length and shape multiple times here before and was never charged more than 30. He wanted me to call different salons so he would backup what he was saying. This is not how a business is run. I shouldn’t have to pay for things that “are known” but written nowhere and aren’t told. I would’ve never gone knowing that I would have to pay 40 for very basic nails (no gel no design no hot towel etc), and get a hostile environment. Anyways he wouldn’t finish my nails without me paying 40 so I was backed into a corner and paid and left upset. I will not come back. I hope the extra 10 was worth it!! Sorry y’all I’m emotional

Arguably the worst manicure that I have ever received.First of all, when I walked through the door and specified that I wanted a manicure, they directed me towards the wall with bottles of polishes and told me to pick a color. Not 15 second later, a woman came up to me and told me to sit at her station and that I could pick my color later.I went to her station and informed her that I had just removed my acrylics that I have had on for 5 months and that my nails were weak. She disregarded my request to be careful with my nails and was digging down into my nail bed with the tool used to push the cuticle back. I was obviously wincing in pain but she paid no mind.During all this, she asked what color I wanted 3-4 times. I kept telling her I didnt know because I didnt get the chance to look. I ended up asking my boyfriend to pick something random.I also asked her to make them all one length. I had to point out at least 3 nails that were either significantly longer or crooked. She seemed to be getting annoyed with me.I went to the fans to let my nails dry. After a while I noticed another crooked nail and asked a different lady to fix it. She ended up filing it very short and it was still crooked.I left with crooked, differently shaped nails and with uneven and bubbly polish.I am very disappointed and would not recommend this salon.

Yesterday was my first visit. Everyone was very kind and helpful. I actually did not like something on my nails and told the technician. I was apprehensive because they were near closing time but she fixed it and did not rush. I left 100% satisfied. This is the best SNS set I’ve had in over a year! I will definitely be returning.

This is legitimately the best nail salon Ive ever been to. The services are unbelievable. Ive never felt like the manicurists were rushing through and even the basic pedicure is absolutely to die for. They include a scrub in the basic package, compared to most places that only include it in the upgrades. The technicians also always provide a decent length massage with the services. Seriously, this place is the best.

First time here and while Im most assuredly impressed at their level of detail and the care put into every nail, I did not appreciate being blindsided with my bill at the end. I was told it was $55 for a gel mani and a regular pedi, only to get a $70 bill at the end before tip. That said, all my nails are even and my tech knocked it out of the park so it was still worth it.

This nail salon never disappoints! My nails have been through a journey this year after breaking one. However, they always work to make my nails look just as pretty no matter the length or shape! The staff is patient, knowledge, and put in the most amazing work for each manicure. Its really what has kept me coming back for the last one years.

Called to schedule an “appointment.” The lady told me a certain time and wasn’t able to sit me in a chair until 30 minutes after. Even after waiting in the chair for another 20 minutes I got up and left. So, moral of the story is don’t make an appointment here because it’s probably not an appointment

I paid $46 for sns dip powder and it chipped within 5 days. I get this all the time from other salons and it lasts a month. The first nail chipped and they replaced it for free but i wish i left it chipped because now my thumb has a big white glob on it. additionally the workers made it very uncomfortable for me to get my nails fixed and are very icey.

I am completely in love with this place! The customer service is always impeccable. They do such a good job fitting you in for an appointment that works for you despite how much business they constantly have. I brought my mother in with me a few weeks ago—she is elderly and handicapped—Jenny met us at the door and helped her all the way to the chair. Everyone made her feel so special. I see Michelle regularly and I swear she knows me better than I know myself. She always knows exactly what color I’m looking for (even when my description is less-than-helpful). She works with my busy schedule and gets me in and out of there with beautiful nails in no time at all. Also, I highly recommend gel polish for your toes! Michelle talked me into it a week before I was taking a beach trip to Miami and despite the sand and my active lifestyle I have not had a single chip in my French for going on 3 weeks. I can’t say enough good things about this place.

Went to go get my nails done with dip powder, I paid $60 with tip and at first they looked so good and not even within 3 days they all started lifting and came off completely. I called and asked them to fix it and they seem cooperative at first but then I went to get them fixed and the lady fixing my nails told me that it was just my nail bed. I knew this wasn’t the case because I have a nail tech back home where I have done dip for YEARS, and this was NEVER an issue. She then proceeded to tell me that “just for me” they were going to only charge me half. I’m sorry, but I was not going to pay to fix their mistake. When I sat down I noticed they used off brand powder for the dip, and even if this wasn’t the reason, their customer service was trash. I would’ve understood if this happened 2-3 weeks after but 3 days!?!?!? This was not my problem. She tried to convince me to pay multiple times and told me to try acrylic but this shouldn’t have happened to begin with, and after telling them I was uncomfortable paying $80 for a full ONE COLOR set they finally agreed to not let me pay for it but “without a warranty” this time. My friend also went to go get her nails done (acrylic) and her nails broke not even within the week MULTIPLE times after she went to get them fixed. Go at your own risk, do NOT recommend.

People call this spot a hidden gem and they are 1000% right. My whole experience was fantastic. I am someone who does NOT excel at small talk and my manicurist made me feel so welcome. In terms of color application - it was awesome, no weird blank spots or gaps around the edges. I literally cant stop looking at my hands! I will 100% be returning for all my future manicures.

Most of the time my nails are great but there are a couple of nail techs that I dont have to luck with - Ill have 4-5 breaks before the end of the first week. I like my toes to match my nails but they hardly ever do -even when I get the perfect match. I dont think the Next Gen nail samples are true to the color that comes out on your nail ♥️ . thanks pretty nails.

This is by far the best nail salon I’ve ever been to. Every time I come here, the staff is awesome, professional, and cater to you as an individual. The salon is also very clean and use clean equipment, freshly packaged sterile nail tools for each and every client. My coworkers always ask me where I get my nails done because my nails always look perfect when I leave this salon. They also have the best prices in town. Recently moved to the Gainesviile and I have been trying to find a new nail place. Ive been to 4 nail salons now and this is hands down the best no chip manicure in the area. Marlo is very precise and makes sure your nails look perfect. I am pretty picky about the shape of my nails and how I want them to look and Andy did exactly what I asked for. I got a no chip and my nails did not chip at all even after 4 weeks! He really does a great.

I went to this nail salon because my nail tech is in Orlando but now, I will make the trip. Tammy was my nail tech. I got my nails done and they broke THE SAME DAY. I couldn’t go back because I left out of town for 2 days so I called them the next day to ask if I could come in to fix it. They said yes. I asked “Will it be free of charge because they broke same day” the manager says “yes, come tomorrow.” Cool. I come into town and wait 30 minutes for a nail fix, yes 30 minutes. They even took someone before me who arrived after and didn’t have an appointment. I sit down and the manager says he’ll charge me for the nail fix. I said, “when I spoke to you on the phone, you said it’ll be free of charge.” He says “come back tomorrow and ask Tammy.” So I wasted my time. I PAID to fixed my nail later (YES TAMMY STILL CHARGED) and I will not be returning. Customer service is trash as well. Go at your own risk. Your patience will be tested.By the way, another nail broke that week. I will not be returning. I would give 0 stars but it’s not an option. Not worth your money and time

This place is consistently great! I have had my nails, toes, and eyebrows done here and am happy with all services. Ive been happy with other nail salons in town, but havent had luck with consistency with multiple visits. Ive been here six times so far, and each time, the tech have done an awesome job. Most frequently, I get gel manicures and the last one did not chip in the month between visits. I just went again and introduced a friend, and she agreed that they have a great level of detail. Highly recommend.

This place has become my absolute favorite nail place to go! They are all always so inviting, and the service is always spot on! They are able to do everything I want and my friends always tell me my nails look good. Going here is like a therapy session, especially as I go to the same person every time and feel like we are good friends. I recommend to anyone and everyone!!!

Waited for hours after they said it was a 40 minute wait. Then an hour later they say its another hour wait. This was my first and last time coming here, I didn’t even get my pedicure, just a wait of time. And I never write reviews on here but that was super frustrating especially when they’re telling everyone “about a 40 minute wait“ !

The staff here is great! I used to go to another salon (fancier), but the vibe was negative. I found this spot a never looked back. I dont have to wait for one specific person, they all do great work.

I paid $50 for a dip powder service that I was told would last 2-3 weeks. My nails barely lasted for 1. I contacted the salon a few days after my service to tell them my nails were already chipping & they assured me I would be able to go & have them fixed. But now I am being told that there’s no way they can “prove” my nails chipped after 2 days. I got them done right before going on a trip so that’s why I didn’t come in as soon as they started chipping. The nail tech also refused to listen to me when I noticed mistakes being made & I believe that is why they did not last as long as they should have. I’ve been to this salon twice now & both times I’ve received subpar service. I wouldn’t recommend as they don’t seem willing to even fix their mistakes but have no issue charging you full price for them to redo something they messed up on in the first place. I won’t be returning for a third time.

I like to get designs on my accent nails, and some can be a little challenging, but staff are always willing to give them a go and do the best they can, and I can definitely say I’ve been very happy every single time!

I called ahead for an acrylic full set gel and was told it was 40 dollars. After getting my nails done I was told it was 50 dollars upon paying. Really hard to trust when people make their own prices each times.

Pretty nails seems to be a very nice and clean place which is why I had gone there a couple of times but I unfortunately caught an infection on the side of my big toe from a pedicure due to the unsanitary pumice stone they used on me. It seems like they use the same pumice stone for everyone because I had not gotten a pedicure in a while and 5 days later I got my nails done at this salon, I caught the infection right where they used the pumice stone on the side of my toe. Would not recommend, if you go at least take your own tools.

I went early in the morning to get my nails filled, they had been done at a different place l ended up not liking and I came here to see if I liked how they did my nails and I absolutely loved it! The person who attended me is John cuite and he is very kind and made my nails better than how they were before. I will definitely be coming again.

I have been to this nail salon 5 or more times. My nails do turn out looking great each time but at a cost. I usually never see the same tech twice but each time I go in I end up with destroyed cuticles. They make me bleed EVERY time and it’s painful. My last visit, she made three of my fingers bleed because she wasn’t paying attention. Probably not going back.

Nice variety of services and polish. They also do powder dip. Got a pedicure with OPI polish, they did a fair job. Not the absolute best but good for the price.

Honestly the worst nail experience I have ever had. The gentleman working on my nails was extremely rude and careless.He ended up having to remove the tips I’d had put on and having to replace them. In the process, he caused significant damage to my nails and they were painful for over a week after I left. I was left with deep grooves in my nailbeds. When I pulled my hands back as a reaction (because it hurt), he snapped at me and basically said he wasn’t doing anything to hurt me.I obviously did not allow him to continue, and I left with damaged, unpainted, awful-looking nails that still haven’t recovered.The facility did seem clean and I’m sure most of the technicians there are much more pleasant and skilled, but I certainly will not be returning.

So I have visited this nail spa since it has opened. In the beginning it was great service was on point and I continued to go. However, time does tell, I went in on 7/19/19 to get my nails and toes done. I’m very big on service and do believe in tipping generously according to the service I receive. I get to pretty nails and I’m clearly the first customer in the shop on Friday, the young gentleman who greeted me was not the one who did my nails.The gentleman that came out to service me never spoke a word to me until I forced him to. He started with my toes, never said good morning nor asked me how was my day. I didn’t say anything however I noticed that he would tap my leg when he wanted me to put up my other leg, still he never said a word. So, the last time he tapped my leg I didn’t move, I stared and waited until he acknowledged me with his voice asking me instead of tapping my leg as if he was a mute or some sort.When he spoke I said oh my, you can speak, he laughed as if, of course I can. Again he never spoke another word only to tell me what chair to move to for my manicure. Again we sat in silence for another 20 minutes.The moral of my story is this, in nail shops particularly and this shop especially tipping is greatly appreciated.FYI: the reason for a tip is because the person went above and beyond their normal service to make me feel welcomed and comfortable in your establishment. This was not the case and nor did I leave a tip.In the beginning I mentioned that I was a frequent person in this shop, but after Saturday I will never go back. Jenny walked in as I got my toes done I said good morning to her as well, she didn’t utter a response.Remember this tip, you guys aren’t just selling nails your selling service to your customers. There are a million different salons in Gainesville what sets you apart is the service you provide. I’m one voice out of a million. For what I spend there, it’s worth taking my money and time to a shop that values their customers.

I never write reviews but I am so upset by my experience here. I went to get dip powder removed from my nails today ( you are suppose to wrap them in tin foil so it can soak off)! The gentleman doing my nails just began by like basically ripping them off. When I asked why they werent being soaked, he said something about them being cracked and kept going. The girl next to me was getting the same thing done, but hers were being wrapped. Once he popped them all off (more like ripped them) they looked awful. They still look awful and are soooo brittle + painful. I could have done that, but I went to the salon so my nails didnt get ruined, but they are now.

The Greatest service in Gainesville, with many options on the powder Nails. The staffs is down to earth and willingly to work with you. Highly recommend!!!

This is my first time being here. I usually gets my nails done in Miami but I’ve recently visited my daughter. She brought me here since it was close to her school. I had a meni pedi and my daughter Laura dipping. My overall experience was great. Hopefully I’ll be back here soon enough to get the deluxe pedicure.

I went there because of the nice reviews and recommendation by a friend. However, I dont feel respected while being a customer.I went there a week ago to do my gel pedicure and manicure. The guy who did my nails constantly reading facebook posts while doing my nails and didnt even ask for understanding. The shape of my manicure is weird and my pedicure is sharp and easy to break. I do nails frequently with many different salons and this is one of the unpleasant experience. I didnt feel pretty and confident after I walked out of pretty nails.The massage is good though, I might go back just for foot massages.
