This is the second time I’ve used Master’s Lawn Care to do extensive yard cleanup (hedge trim, removal of significantly overgrown shrubbery, weeds & vines) for my elderly parents. Staff are professional, caring & helpful. Yomi created a proposal that met our needs & budget. In this day and age, when we are at a loss to find honest, dependable, competent and helpful assistance with our various needs, I feel I have solved, at least one of my issues. After 15 years in my home, on Lake Hampton, we were in need of repairing and regulating our irrigation system. I contacted Bionca @ Masters Lawn Care. She noted my issues and called me back to arrange service, the following week, as we had just experienced a hurricane. Mike was the trained representative assigned to fix my issues. Within 5 minutes of his arrival, he was digging for my control valves, to locate the blockage in a particular zone. Having cleared the obstruction, he proceeded to inspect the entire 4-zone system, replace 2 faulty heads and, not only adjust my irrigation timing feature, but to reset the irrigation heads to provide proper coverage throughout the property. Within a couple of weeks, having trimmed hedges, etc., I found I needed additional adjustments, and contacted Taylor, who promptly and politely scheduled a follow up call. The morning Mike was due to return, I found myself confined to my bed and made another call, this time reaching Elizabeth. She advised that Mike was 20 minutes away, but she would cancel the call and reschedule to suit my needs. Today, Mike returned, and within 40 minutes, had replaced 2 additional heads, and repositioned a couple of heads where the watering patterns had been affected by my trimmings.Kudos (like 10 stars) for the patience of the staff in listening to what I needed, as well as the positive, professional handling, on a timely schedule, my service appointments. Mike is a fireball that attacks the issue, fixes it and moves on to whatever else is needed. These personnel are all professional in their approach, as well as their handling of a clients needs. I could not be happier in my dealings with this firm. I will use them again.

I am a repeat customer of The Masters Lawn Care, and recently hired them to renovate my front yard (previously landscaped beds), by clearing weeds and small volunteer trees, and replacing some old landscape plants that had outlived their usefulness. All aspects of the job were done in an efficient, courteous, and professional manner. Jarrod gave me a very reasonable estimate for the work, and DShaun and Andrew carried out the instructions for the job, checking in with me periodically to make sure that I was happy with their work. I am very happy with the results. I am already making plans to hire them again.

Fantastic experience with Charlie and an irrigation repair. I called 3 other highly rated irrigation companies that couldnt be bothered to follow-up with a return call or scheduled visit. I was already a customer with The Masters and added an irrigation contract. Charlie and Justin came out to do some repairs, but didnt have a couple of the sprinkler heads on the truck and Charlie said he would be out the next morning to finish. My dog, who barks at every body within 100 feet didnt hear him show up at 7 a.m. to finish up. Knowledgeable, professional, clean, and reliable!

We recently hired The Masters Lawn Care to remove a significant portion of our grass and incorporate new beds with our existing ones. Masters did a landscaping project in our backyard while my husband and I were away on a trip. They added edging and river rocks around some sandy areas that tend to erode when it rains hard enough to overflow the gutters. DShawn and Andrew worked on the project and it looks great! Ive been using Masters Lawn Care for several years for all my all my yard and landscaping jobs. Today they put new sod near front of my house, removed some old shrub and planted new landscaping and mulch and it looks fantastic. Andrew and Ty from Masters Lawn Care did a really professional job planting shrubs to hide our newly installed generator (including moving an irrigation sprinkler head) and improved drainage to help mitigate some roof runoff. We have used Masters regularly for 2 years and they have always stood by their work I have been impressed with virtually all the people we have dealt with from the company.

Everyone at The Master’s Lawn Care have done an excellent job. Several crews have worked on cleanup, weeding, mulching, installing new plants as well as weekly maintenance. Willy and his crew did a great job in a difficult cleanup, Josh, Andrew and Shay did an excellent job of installing new plants, mulching numerous beds with pine straw as well as renovate and reinstall an existing paver pathway. Aaron and Chris and another crew member do an outstanding job of maintaining what is now a beautiful, natural looking yard, but one under control. They all deserve 5 stars!

Masters is all about the attention to detail, and the extra mile in service. Shavarus called my attention to an ailing loropetalum in our front yard. He suggested replacing it. He then dug out the old one and this week he replanted the replacement I’d picked up. We love Masters, especially Team 11. :)

We have been VERY happy with The Masters Lawn Care. We have Team 11 (Mo and Luis) that take care of our yard every other week. Mo constantly checks in with me every time he is here to make sure I am happy with what he has done, and to ask if there is anything specific I would like him to pay attention to. They are very thorough, and work until a job is completed all the way. We are always getting compliments about how nice our yard looks. Both Mo and Luis are super nice guys too, we are happy to have them taking care of our yard.

Extremely happy with the recent work from the Masters Lawn team Josh & DSean. We had some sod removed and replaced with mulch along with a few viburnum to enhance the privacy of our backyard. They were extremely professional and made sure that everything was exactly the way we wanted it before planting. The Biggest Plus - everything was cleaned up afterward - no mulch/debris left in the street, yard, etc! These guys are the best! We will definitely be calling them for Phase 2 of our home renovations.

We have been using Masters now since purchasing our home in November, 2019. The yard was completely overgrown and our first project with them was a massive cleanup effort, removing old shrubs and plants and replanting new ones. Have since done 4 more phases of improvements with them in 2020. They also do our weekly landscape maintenance and we have been very pleased with the crews they have sent from Herbert and Willie, to Herbert and Horace, to Willie and Horace, and now Xavier and Yasmin. They all very receptive to directions and complete the work professionally.

Our front yard needed some work and neither my wife nor I had the time to do it. We called The Masters Lawncare and they promptly made an appointment with Jared. Jared came over and we explained that we needed to improve the looks of the front yard and that we needed plants that would be low maintenance and would survive in the shade. Jared listened to our comments and made some suggestion that we felt were satisfactory. Within a day or two Jared sent us a detailed proposal which included pricing along with a landscape plan superimposed on to pictures of our existing front yard. We felt the price was very reasonable. Once we got approval from our HOA, we could give Jared a signed contract. He gave us a date that was a few weeks off. When the day came, a two-man crew showed up consisting of Dshawn and Andrew. Dshawn greeted us when we opened our front door. He introduced himself and Andrew and could not have been more pleasant. We discussed exactly which plants were to remain and his concern over the markings showing where existing cables were located. I felt he had a firm grasp of the situation before they started work. It was a very hot day but Dshawn and Andrew pushed on. Every time I had a question to ask, they stopped working and were very patient with me. They had to leave once to dispose of some of the excess material. Once they got back they promptly installed the plants and laid down the pine straw. They finished just before the skies opened up with a 45-minute deluge. It could not have come at a better time! We were extremely pleased with the work by The Masters Lawncare from start to finish and will not hesitate to recommend them to anyone needing lawncare services.

We have Team 11 (Moe, and Luis: forgive me for incorrect spelling of names) who have been coming to our house for about 6 months now. We switched from a different lawn care service that was not meeting our needs.. The work they do here is amazing. Our yard has never looked better. The attention to detail these men have is shown in the quality of work performed. We have a pool and they cut facing away from it so no additional leaves clippings get in. They are always professional, friendly, courteous, and do an outstanding job. Team 11 has been the best thing since sliced bread for our home!

What a wonderful experience we had with Masters Lawn Care. Josh, DSean and James did a wonderful job. They listened, were very in tune to what I was trying to accomplish and patiently moved and moved again the plants until I was very happy. They really did sense when I was not quite sure. After the planting was completed they finished it off with some mulch so it blended in, a total surprise! Of course, as they were leaving I asked if they could grab some small stumps that were laying in the yard and they pleasantly did so. Happy day, Happy customer who will return.

We had a bad area in our backyard we planned to sod. The Masters Lawn Care provided a reasonable quote and scheduled us for the project. They worked to prep the area and then arrived yesterday to complete the prep and install the sod. We recently selected The Masters Lawn Care to provide Hardscaping Services for our new home. Specifically, Eric and Judson worked diligently over the course of a week or so to build a gorgeous new paver patio. Our project was a challenge as we wanted the pavers placed on top of a small existing cement patio with a large extension at the same elevation around the cement patio and an octagon center section. Chuck and his crew did the design and Eric and Judson were challenged with the project. They did an exceptional job and we are thrilled with the result. They arrived on time, were always professional, extremely courteous, detail-oriented, and quality focused in every step of this project. This job was not easy and it required a lot of preparation in order to be done right. It was so nice to know each of them were as concerned as I about getting it right. As Judson said, the preparation before the pavers go on is everything-do the prep work right and the paver installation will go well. That is what they did...at every step. They showed up on time and always cleaned their work-site before leaving for the night. We are so pleased with the results. The Masters Hardscaping services are 5-Star all the way. We have been using trusty Rustys company for over 15 years! We had some irrigation issues prior to putting our home up for sale. We requested Mike since he always does a good job, and has a great attitude about his work and the company. It is refreshing to hear an employee speak so highly about his boss and his faith. Great job guys and thank you for getting the work done on a last minutes notice and Mike thank you for staying late to finish the job! Also the INSTALL CREW worked there tail off spreading 12 yds of mulch. They stayed all day and although they didnt schedule for all day, the company still keep us at the price they promised. Team 4 (Herbert W., Mike, and Amande) with The Masters Lawn Care always gives amazing service! They have been servicing our community here at The Enclave for some time and there are no complaints. They are polite and extremely professional and would definitely recommend.

We live on a couple of wooded acres. We are constantly battling leaves and weeds in large parts of our yard. In addition to the leaves and weeds this year, we had lots of dead foliage from the freezes. Horace, Willie, and Xavier were the team that cleaned up very large beds in our front yard. They did an amazing job! Went above and beyond in removing leaves, frozen vegetation. I am planning on getting them back to do more clean up for us!

Master’s Lawn Care renovated our yard in 2018 and they have been maintaining it since. The first thing to note is that Chuck Baldwin is very professional, knowledgeable, responsive and very friendly. He is also very detailed oriented and highly committed to both our property and his company. Our crew of preference are Mo and Wes. These two guys are always friendly, responsive and very hard working. The yard always looks so fresh after their visits. My compliments to Master’s Lawn Care for their employee and customer friendly management.

Over the years, our landscape has changed and gown. Sprinkler system just not hitting all areas of the lawn as they used to. Did a Google search, they were near my home. Gave them a call, set up an appt. Young man that came out listened to my concerns, checked out the system. Did a couple of quick fixes to get two main areas of concern. We talked about other things that could be done. They sent a proposal later in the day. Would definitely use them again.

He was very friendly, and super thorough.Long story short.... I know they are one of the more expensive lawn services in town, but they are DEFINITELY worth it! You get what you pay for, and Im so happy with the work they did today.

Masters installed underground runoffs from seven gutter downspouts into the yard. Josh and DSean were hard working, professional and did a great job. I would highly recommend Masters for any yard, irrigation, or drainage work you need.

First of all this guy chase is a grass whisperer. He came to my house for a consultation and we talked about grass for an hour and a half. I even learned about local grass politics and legislation. There were so many things he taught me, he is very knowledgeable.James was the technician that came to my house. On his way there I blindsided him with a bush question to test his knowledge. I sent him a picture of a bush I was curious about, and he responded with the freakin species name of the plant. This guy is good.Finally, Taylor helped me on the phone with a billing issue. She was able to get me a discount for paying up front. She answered lightning fast and on top of this she has the voice of an angel. So far my experience with this company has been unreal. I wish I had more lawns so I could see them more often. 10/10

We have used The Masters Lawn Care now twice for tree removal and they have done such a great job that we are now also using their monthly lawn care/weed control service. Josh and Eddie came out today and did a phenomenal job trimming up some problem trees on our property. I spoke to Darius and his team and explained to him that there were things that were not routinely getting done. He and all of his team took the time to listen to me and my concerns. When this team returned the next week they took care of all of my concerns. Needless to say I was pleasantly surprised. The guys that came out and landscaped my Burger King on Newberry rd did a great job! Herbert, mike, kal, Riley, and James mcloud were very hard workers and got the job done quickly and looking nicely. We will continue to use their services.

I spoke with Herbert, Horace, Mike and Antione as they were doing the lawn maintenance around our office. They always do such a good job and they are really friendly.

Unbelievably great service! My mower broke down right about the time I needed to use it... go figure, right? I asked a few places to see if anyone could mow while my mower was being repaired. Bren at Masters got back to me, in a speedy and super helpful way. I sent her my address and within the hour she had a totally reasonable quote and said that the crew could get there the SAME DAY. I said lets do it! Fast forward....pulling into my driveway after a long Friday at work and my yard transformed from looking like a unkept beard, to the paragon of my neighborhood. Perfect mow, edging and WEEDING of my flower beds, super tight lines on the driveway and sidewalk, weed whacked, trimmed my hedges / bushes, they even cut branches away from my house roof. That weekend the hours I usually spent doing yard work was spent with my family and relaxing. I signed up for the maintenance that Monday. Yesterday was the first maintenance trip. The crew introduced themselves to me and said that they would be the crew that continued to work on my yard. They talked with my about all my plants, trees, etc.. I could tell that they ACTUALLY cared about my yard. The crew was beyond friendly, and I could tell that they were genuine and happy to work for Masters. Masters lawn-care is awesome...Before they left the crew was sure to ask me if I needed anything or had any concerns.. Bren, John, Curtis, and Jacob thank you for making my life easier.

The guys and gals at Masters Lawn Care did a fantastic job on our landscape refresh. We had a little delay to get the project started initially, but it ended up working out. We took part of the Turf Swap program, so drip irrigation was installed in the beds to replace the spray nozzles. The plants installed are all Florida natives and bring much needed color and curb appeal to our home. Chuck, Todd, Andrew, Taylor, and Bianca were all a pleasure to work with.

Master’s Lawn Care has been outstanding! We installed a Zoysia lawn this summer and hired them to ensure it stayed healthy (after previous lawn fails trying on our own). Not only do we finally love our lawn, we also appreciate the time our technician, Josh, has taken to answer any and all questions we have on landscaping. He is a wealth of knowledge! Masters Lawn Care has provided multiple yard improvements for my home - astro-turf installation, plantings, advice on managing pest problems, etc. Josh and Andrew just completed another lawn improvement and I am beyond pleased. Both of these gentlemen were professional, kind, helpful and a joy to work with. They listened and offered their ideas and were patient if we decided to change our plans at the last minute. Cody and DShaun put into action the plan that was drawn up and I couldnt be happier with the results. They did an excellent job, clean up and often went above an beyond. My only complaint with The Masters Lawn Care would be the communication or lack of it which in no way reflects on the above mentioned job performance.

Team 11 did a great job cleaning up our Gainesville Golf and Country Club home for us that we were getting ready to put up for sale. They created a great curb appeal and stay out there most of the day for a fair price.

Herbert and his crew have made a big difference on our property. Herbert will always make sure that he gets the job done. Taylor at the home office is quick to respond with requests with extra work orders when needed. Clayton who over sees our property is always great with special projects when needed. The overall crew always have a helping hand and great smile all the days through.I recommend them because they make it happen.

Contracted Masters Lawn Care for long overdue shrub clean out, trimming and replacing with new flowering plants. Owner, Rusty, offered professional landscaping recommendations to meet customer needs. Landscaping proposal was successfully completed by professional team members, Josh, Eddie and Tim. Irrigation system tuneup done by specialist, Mike, confirmed appropriate water coverage was sufficient to insure new landscaping maintenance. Post-project inspection by associate, Andrew, noted minor “punch list” items to close out landscaping project. Overall project exceeded customer expectations.

Team 11 is the best! They always ask what I’d like done in addition to their regular service. They are polite, professional and prompt!

This company is a mess. We had them do our initial yard cleanup and they did a decent job, but their monthly maintenance is shoddy and unreliable. We used them for somewhere between one and two years and repeatedly experienced the following issues:It took them over 6 months and 3 separate requests to put us on auto-pay, each time with verbal assurances that it was handled, followed by missed payment calls the following month.We had to ask them not to use pesticide/herbicide multiple times before they complied.They allowed weeds to grow totally unchecked for several months time. And Im not talking about the unavoidable little plants you see pop up any time you dont use herbicide, I mean whole ground crawlers covering the gardens and sandy areas of our yard. When we complained, even the guy they sent to investigate said it was unacceptable.Using a weed-whacker they severed the roots of several of our plants, killing whole sections of our morning glory vines and other bulb plants.They did something to an avocado tree we’re still mystified by, as it just up and died one day after their visit??The rain lilies and rose bushes in our back yard are sideways when they leave because they use humongous leaf blowers that are far too strong for anything delicate to stand up against.We tried to keep mulch in our flowerbeds, only for it to be blown away by the bi-weekly leaf-blowers...we had to give up on trying to keep our gardens mulched.Common knowledge about gardening is not employed. For example, one should not cut plants back until the end of winter because any new growth is susceptible to freezing, but they have already clear cut the plants in our front yard, though its only December...Basically, if you need them to do anything but mow your lawn, you’re going to be severely disappointed.Despite all this, we continued to try to work with them for nearly two years because theyre always very pleasant and apologetic, and we understand that miscommunications occur with teams and accidents happen. But our breaking point has been reached with us losing the on-going battle of trying to get them to follow our request of “do not come before noon.”Two of the three people in our house work nights and usually sleep until 2pm, but we know thats late so we asked that they simply not come before noon. But we have had to call and remind them of this four times in the last six months. Speaking with both the workers and the office, each time they would apologize profusely and say they were going to amend their files…then show up early by 1-2 hours again 2-3 weeks later.This is what you can expect working with Master’s Lawn Care: They do the bare minimum on their schedule. If you dont like something about their service, they will alter it for a week or two after you complain, then go back to doing what they want. They are friendly enough people, but do not hire them if you have any special requests for your yard or scheduling because they simply will not work with you.

Herbert, Andre and David of The Master’s Team 4 did a fantastic job cleaning up our yard! It was overgrown and neglected, with limbs and sticks everywhere. They worked tirelessly all day and I could not be more pleased with the results! I highly recommend them!

The regular team that comes to my house (team #3 I think) does a great job. Any time I have a request they are more than happy to take care of it right away and are alway anxious to make sure we are pleased with their work.

Wanted to express gratitude for the outstanding lawn service we receive from Manny. The neighborhood I live in has about 6 or 7 accounts with Master’s Lawn Care, and the first week of the month, I see him working hard, and all the lawns are the better for it.

I called to set up a time for them to come out to my property and give me a quote for lawn maintenance. I have a very busy schedule and my calendar was booked. They took the time to schedule an appointment early early morning to accommodate by calendar. Chase, as I later learned is the lawn health manager, came to my home. He was on time and very professional. He took time to walk my property with me allowing me to go over what I felt needed to be corrected in my lawn, what my goals were in maintaining a beautiful lawn, and he offered suggestions as well. The proposals to do the work on my lawn as well as shrubs, and may I add sprinkler maintenance, sod, mulching.... were emailed to me within a few hours. I called a few days later to go over the proposals with him. We arranged a phone appointment and again he was on time with our meeting. I am going to go with this business to do all my lawn, fertlization...........all of my lawn care needs.

The Masters Lawn Care installed artificial turf and river rock to my back yard. They took time and used precision when measuring the area and had exactly the right amount of materials to complete the job. We will enjoy our back yard oasis.

From first contact to follow up I could not be happier with Masters Lawn Care. I had a lighting system installed to make my patio safer, to light dark steps that were dangerous at night to lighting a beautiful statue to making the little courtyard more inviting, Mike was professional in every way. Knew what he was doing and did a great job. Very happy to have found this company. They were always very quick with replies and prompt in setting up scheduling. I highly recommend them from the initial inspection, to front of office and entire staff, could not ask for better. .

I found this company is the best company to take care of a lawn in town. I tried several companies and lost lots of money during the process. Other companies made promises and nothing happened, they damaged my lawn. I met with Rusty and Chase, principles of Masters Lawn Care in October 2019. They assured me that they would repair the lawn that damaged by other companies and promised me that I would see my lawn green again. I doubted their promises. However, over time, gradually, things started to improve and recently I experienced what they have promised. I learned through the process that I should be patient and follow their guidance and recommendations. This is a two-way improvement process. Rusty and Chase are well-educated and transparent professionals. I highly recommend their services to anyone who wants to see very positive results in her or his lawn. Let me tell you, MIKE The Sr. Irrigation specialist did an amazing job yesterday! I had an issue, so I was asking people inmy neighborhood WHO can I call??, My pipe is broken! They said call Masters Lawn care. So I did. Based on recommendation I shut off my sprinkler system immediately. I then called Masters, I spoke to Bianca first who was incredibly nice and understanding! She was awesome as well! She scheduled me with Mike who was working on a 10 hour job already but said He would come by right afterwords. SO While I was panicking and worried to death about the possile damage a broken pipe can cause- I kept stressing! Then Mike Showed up, a few minutes after his other job was finished, and it was raining a bit, He looked at my Pipe that was broken and said with a Big Smile, No worries Ill have ya fixed up in a jiffy! AND HE DID! The man really knows His work. He repaired it while getting soaked in the rain, I offered Him an Umbrella, He said He was ok. We hung a little drapery above him and He got busy! Let me tell ya, I am military retired, and this man got the job done! We chatted while He worked! Great conversation too! He told me the brief history of Masters and what a great company it is! Im convinced! So after He repaired my issue, He looked at my lawn in the rain and gave me a reccommendation, SO I will be using Masters from Here on out! I hope EVERYONE reads my review!!! We used The Masters Lawn Care for our landscaping, irrigation and yard lighting projects. Rusty was personally involved in the planning of each project and recommended details based on his experience, which was greatly appreciated. Each project was completed within the estimates provided and even with some unforseen weather delays, each project was completed in a timely manner. Mike worked on the irrigation system and we could tell that he had the same attention to detail as if he was installing the system at his own home. Andrew and his landscaping crew worked tirelessly to correct a drainage problem with a beautiful dry creek bed. Our house and landscape look absolutely stunning at night thanks to the low voltage landscape lighting they installed, and we never noticed any change to our electric bill! We highly recommend Rusty and his staff for your landscaping projects and care.

Master’s Lawn just completed another outstanding project. Rusty’s team is both professional and talented. Chuck in sales was quick to respond and detailed with his quotes. Travis and his crew did some amazing hardscape work. What sets Master’s Lawn apart is their commitment to their customers. I have two Jack Russell puppies and wanted K9 artificial turf installed. I called Bren, and her response was immediately positive. She said we have not done a lot of synthetic turf work in Gainesville, but you are a long time customer let’s see what we can do. Master’s Lawn made it happen, and the puppies love the K9 turf.

Cody and Andrew did a landscaping job for me today. They arrived on time and were very professional and courteous. They also adjusted a few sprinkler heads that were redirected to insure the new landscaping was getting the needed water. Both Cody and Andrew work great as a team. Also want to give Chuck a shout out for all his planning and help. Great team players.
