I just got the BEST substitute of my career from Kelly Services. I cannot understate how amazing and wonderful and organized she was. I was truly stunned to walk into my classroom after being gone for a week to see a perfectly clean classroom. She assumed tasks that I would never ask any substitute to do and completed all my plans even when my students were acting up.

This office great, they help me get a job and I about to be hired on! I loved Mrs Patty, any negative comments on here about her is uncalled for. We all miss her. The other staff are fine, they helped me a lot with questions regarding pay and help getting my schedule worked out. The only problem I have experience is they are short staff and cant get to the phone sometimes but that office is always busy and ever time I been there its always crowded and the phone rings nonstop.

Heres the deal: Kelly Services is just like all the other temp services. They can only hire the people that match the qualifications for the jobs they get from their clients. I applied there and didnt get a job. For whatever reason, my experience didnt match anything that was open at the time. Ill keep following up with them but I never went into it assuming Id be hired.The office is professional, everyone is friendly, but if they dont have a job you are qualified for, you wont get a job. They cant magically create a job out of thin air. Consider this next time you go to apply for any temp service.

Kelly Services was awesome!!! and always has been for me and several others that i personally know. They are very patient with the people they work with and go through all the way on the mission to find you employment or better employment if you dont like where you currently are. I recommend friends, family and past coworkers to them all the time because they did me such a great service 💯 ...these people put you in place for a job but it is entirely up to you to apply yourself to the job to get hired on permanently.

I must’ve have contacted this office several times over several months. It’s amazing to me that anyone gets help with this office. Definitely understand why their rating is garbage.

Horrible. This place is so disorganized and they do not communicate with employees on a regular basis! Management needs to be seriously cleaned up. I was given an assignment with no address, person to report to or anything. Also, could not get my taxes done because these people some how were not receiving my timecard for pay stubs. Jarvis needs to be fired, he does not know his job one bit. I remember the day I was to start my assignment, it was like pulling teeth to get him to give me the address! Hire smarter people who know how to communicate. I suggest everyone go to Spherion, they are amazing. This is by far the worst experience I ever had with an agency.

Jarvis is the best he found me a really good job.one that in another week I Will home permanent.he was there when I needed help,and even came by the job to check on me..

I have experienced nothing but lies and neglect here. My resume speaks for itself. A temp agency that DOESNT have jobs? Forget about it. Jarvis interviewed me and everything pretty much died from there. He gave me this schpiel of how qualified I was and blazay blah. Nothing happened. If you like wasting your precious time, then by all means.

I was working with Kelly Services for about a month. I did my interview with Edelin sparks( very nice lady) I turned in all paper work that was required within hours of it being asked for. Completed all assessments! One day I returned a call to Edelin and spoke with a another lady that couldn’t find information on me. ( This is the second time this has happened) I informed the lady that I will speak with Edelin being that she is who I was working with. When I finally spoke with Edelin she told me she has some bad news and that when I spoke with the female Cathleen Prescott I was being very Rude and short. That I was yelling at her and that I called them stupid but then said I said they were “ a office full of idiots”!!! And that they do not want to work with me. Cathleen Prescott lied on my name. First I was only on the phone with this lady for about 5 mins, and majority of that time I was on hold because she was looking for my profile. Second when I asked her about the “office of idiots” comment she said she “thinks” that what I said and that I mumbled it under my breath. When I questioned her about the “Think” she in return stated “ no I heard you say it” There was no talking to her . I believe I was being descriminated and that they did not want to work with me for whatever reason. I was on the phone pleading my case because I knew that the Cathleen lady lied on me. There was nothing I could do. I am calling corporate to further discuss this situation. This is absurd and I will do everything in my power to find justice .

My experience with Kelly and specifically Patty was VERY DISAPPOINTING. I interviewed and she called to tell me she needed a temp for covering a maternity leave over last summer (2017). I cancelled vacation plans to be available. I very much wanted the work. She implied in two phone calls that I would have that position. However she stopped calling and when I called back I got nowhere with them. Then when I finally did get to talk to her she said she had already filled that position. So why didnt she give me a courtesy call???There are two things I think at play with them: ageism and poor communication. I do believe I was discriminated against because of my age. The irony here is Patty is looking at 70, easily.And heres a tip: if you are computer savvy on a Windows machine you may do okay on the computer skills tests. If you are computer savvy using Macs/Apple products the tests will stymy you. I am very well versed in Quickbooks, Excel and Word using my Mac. But the tests are on OLD WINDOWS machines and OLD keyboards. One wrong keystroke punts to the next question, and that one keystroke gives you a wrong answer. I am sure I failed the computer tests because of this even though I have been working on Microsoft for Mac for over 10 years.So be warned: if you are older like I am, the application requires your date of birth. They may play along with you as they did me so you cant claim discrimination but I am quite certain that played a role.And if youre a Mac user the computer tests (even though the software is basically the same) will throw you off.BTW when I told Patty I usually do a help search or try a few different keys or dropdown boxes if I dont know something on a piece of software she assured me that was no problem. But I never heard from them. Not even a polite email telling me why they would/didnt hire me.Patty also mainly fills positions at Shands. You have to be willing to get certain immunizations to work there.I have read in national publications that ageism is a real problem and older people (over 50) are easily winnowed out EVEN THOUGH THEY HAVE NOT ONLY THE TECH SKILLS but are often more reliable than their younger counterparts.Good luck to job seekers. Its a real issue that someone with my stability and skills was not hired or even given a polity no thank you.

I really want to thank Mrs.Patty from Kellys Services of gainesville florida for helping me to find me another part time job. I want let you down and again thank you .

I have applied here several times my resume is more than impressive for my age and yet they have never called me for a job i have better luck finding one on my own i have tried to use kelly serv in two dif towns in fl and not one time have they been very useful or helpful to finding me a job
