He can cut, but can’t comprehend what his clients are telling him. he asked if I wanted the hair on my chin evened off with the rest of my beard and did the exact opposite. Now my chin is the thickest part of what’s left of my beard. Not the only time he’s messed up. Never spending my dough there again.

I had my beard shaved today at this place and the result was perfect. The barber (I cant remember his name...maybe Gerardo) was very kind and thoughtful. We spoke about sport, traveling and food, and he finished the job very fast. What a friendly character! I wish him the best, hope he can visit Europe one day. Thanks!

One of the best barbers I know. Mike is a master barber who can cut any type of hair and any style. Moreover, he’s a genuinely welcoming and friendly person. The best draw for me is that he takes appointments. My schedule is ALWAYS hectic so being able to get a cut a a time-certain is key. I’ve also sent friends visiting from out of town to the shop and they were highly pleased. Check out the shop, but don’t dare mess up my scheduled time...LOL

I’ve been looking for a good barber here in Gainesville, since i moved here 1 year ago from New Jersey. I settled and went to anyone I found and there was no one that I truly liked. I finally went to Iron Mikes for the first time a couple weeks ago and the owner was the one who cut my hair. He did an amazing job, just as good as my barber I’ve been going to for the past 15 years up in New Jersey. I’ve tried every place in Gainesville and this is by far the best and the only place I will be going to.

Mike is a good barber but charges way too much for cuts. There is typical no wait when I get there with Mike cutting and another barber/ stylists once in a blue moon. Overall meh experience.

I just recently moved to Gainesville and was trying soooo hard to find a legit barber, and after my first visit i knew that this would be the most place info faithfully

Mike wasn’t welcoming he was rude walked out side waited 5-6 mins and then kept saying prices out on the board then the prices was up there and his response my prices out my prices he ain’t do a good job one side cut more then the other got mad because I said it was just okay and it cost $20.00 for what u ain’t even put no alcohol on me and let the white neck thing on me I don’t recommend nobody to bring they child not even they granddaddy their I see why the need barber they need to be close down and he need some people skills ...
