We noticed that the house was getting warmer yesterday afternoon so we called North Central Florida Air Conditioning as they had installed the new system about a year ago. As usual Morgan and everybody else in the office were super nice and professional.Jeremy Shulrr from North Central Florida Air Conditioning responded within several hours of our call. He came in and quickly diagnosed the problem and ordered a complete new blower motor and fan assembly. It came in this afternoon Jeremy quickly swapped out the assemblies. Now after only one day with having to order a new assembly, as i write this im chilled in my still damp clothes. The house cooled down that quickly.Jeremy even took the time to tell me how to reduce the odds of this happening again. (As i know from my experience in my own business as a sound system technician lightning is very unpredictable. Even a strike on a power line some distance away can cause a surge that can skip multiple electronic devices and hit just one.)I appreciate his sound advice. No pun intended.

North Central Florida Air Conditioning is a scam. I purchased a brand new ac unit 9 months ago and was supposed to be under warranty, parts and labor. The unit stopped working so I called their office to get a tech to make the repairs. The dispatcher only asked if I needed someone tonight or in the morning. So of course I said tonight. The tech gets to my home and informs me that the service is after hours so there is a mandatory $120 service fee and the parts are not covered under the warranty since they are universal parts off the truck. I called their office and the rude dispatcher said I asked you if you wanted a tech tonight or tomorrow? which I was supposed to somehow know that meant a $120 service fee would be due and the $230 in parts would not be covered by the warranty. Deceptive business practices and faulty work by North Central Florida Air Conditioning.

Just wanted to give a huge shout out to Jessica and Ray whom work for north central florida ac and all the rest of staff that helps me out daily. Awesome staff, friendly, and great quality of work performed every time. Highly recommend them for any ac repairs and services!

Jeremy was FANTASTIC! I woke up this morning, in the heat of the summer, with my AC unit broken. Not fun. I called North Central Florida Air Conditioning and they were immediately responsive! They sent Jeremy out and within a few hours, he replaced the broken part and we had our AC unit working again!! I am a single older lady and don’t really understand much about ACs. But Jeremy was so patient with explaining things to me and was kind enough that after he got the AC running again, he connected my smartphone to the AC unit and now I feel high tech!! Haha I highly recommend them for anyone looking for help with their AC!

Sharing my experience...- Called on Memorial week-end, the answering service did not write down the correct phone numbers.- After 3 days, I call back to see whats going on and specify I have a dead scroll compressor.- They dispatched a technician, dead compressor confirmed. I pay $70- This Amana system is covered by a lifetime warranty were Amana swaps the complete outdoor unit (not just the compressor).- I am charged and pay $100 for processing warranty paperwork.- I am quoted $500 to do the swap.- To my opinion it appears that they are somewhat disorganized, this is a 1 or 2 man job, about 1/2 days work.- But several technicians come over many days.- One of their trucks takes the wrong road, gets stuck up to the axle in sand, I towed it out (free) with chain.- I am out of town on business, my wife is asked to pay which she did $600 (instead of $500)- They finally install the condenser unit.- Technicians are seen messing with wall digital thermostat on 2 occasions.- While still out of town I receive a call, this technician says he cant balance the system.- He claims there is a defective TXV on the evaporator (thermo-expansion valve).- Several days go by, no news from them. Still no A/C in the house, its now June 5th 2021.- Called them to see whats going on, they announce it will be $1,244.06 for a TXV- Its a $79 part, I always have to chase them, they have poor track record so far, I get suspicious.- I get another contractor for a second opinion.- They test the TVX valve, takes less than 5 minutes, nothing wrong, it is operating perfectly.- But they find out that North Florida Florida A/C had altered thermostat wiring.- Now wiring is calling for heat strips to come on and cooling at the same time.- How do we know that, this is a high efficiency unit and wires were not connected prior.- Never used heat strips before, certainly not in the summer....- Is that incompetence and greed or a scam way to get more money or just a comedy of errors? Draw your own conclusion

Tray came out as he has done several times before. Very professional and never tries to upsell you to something you dont need. Been using these guys for two years. They have always been great.

We had to redo all of our ductwork and even had to replace some of the connections to the house. They came out and replaced everything and even went as far as to check the unit itself for maintenance. He was very helpful and involved in how it was working. One room is not connected but they are working to fix it!Then a gentleman came out later in the day, Trey Tucker, and he was concerned that we did not have running AC with the baby in the house and he tried everything he could to get it running it actually managed to fix the unit while performing the basic cleaning! Everyone had always been so helpful!! Literally the most helpful business ever!!

Very unprofessional .It seems like theyre out there to take your money.The old company was always on time and they made sure you were very satisfied.I dont the new owners but I truly think they should do a hight overhaul of all of their employees from top to bottom if they really mean good businesses.I had my old unit(originally installed by the old company) replaced by them to a larger one and the work done was shaddy and as of today(almost a year later) has not been inspected by a certified inspectorI have numerous problems an after paying several hundred dollars Im still not satisfied with the service response.I just leave it as this for now but for sure will never recommend this company to anyone even my worse enemy.You get a minus in my book.

Trey showed up on Saturday night while it was raining. He was very professional and got the job done quickly. From diagnosing the problem after checking both the indoor and outdoor AC units, and replacing the broken part it was less than an hour and the AC was back up and running. Highly recommend this company for AC repairs.

Very professional and informative. Showed up right on time and finished as promised. This means a lot in post Hurricane Michael recovery, as that has not been my experience with so many other contractors. North Central FL A/C & Insulation is a breath of fresh air. I highly recommend!!

Had an appointment from 3-4 today 6/22 and no one showed up, no one called and I just waited.I know things happen, but you can call or text. Not Happy.

My husband and I were so impressed that we broke our golden rule of getting a minimum of 3 estimates. I called on a Monday, Tray came out that afternoon and I had my whole house dehumidifier and air scrubber installed on Thursday of the same week. I really liked the customer service. The same guy that came to look at the job and give the estimate on the same day was the same guy that actually did the job--these days especially with larger companies, you have to wait a week or more to actually get the estimate and then some other person comes to do the job that doesnt know much about you or your concerns--not the case with NCFAC. Once scheduled, I got a reminder email the day before and then another when the tech was in route. They showed up on time, did the job and cleaned up nicely afterwards. We purchased an older home and have interviewed and hired every flavor of contractor and not one of them has come close to checking all of the boxes that this company does. Great job and thank you for a great experience!!

This company did an amazing job replacing my ac unit. The office staff was very kind and helpful in scheduling this matter and they have great customer service. The technicians came out and was very professional and worked very diligently to complete this job and had me up and running in no time. The price is very fair. I strongly recommend this company to my family and friends.

I run a farm and use a/cs to keep the climate within the needed specs for the animals, not just for my comfort. On march 11th they came out to repair my unit, charged me almost $1000, and on easter it failed. I called and asked for an after hours technician, they said they would have one call. After one hour and no call, I called back on all three numbers that are posted for them, and on invoices and business cards. They immediately hang up the phone as they do not want to come out as a night call and deal with poor repair by by them previously. Dont use them if your a/c needs are more critical than just comfort.

North Central Florida Air Conditioning has been wonderful to work with since hurricane Michael. We were quoted three different levels and able to choose the best option. Very professional and knowledgeable. Ashley has kept us informed and gotten us information very quickly. Once the roof is installed we set to have the HVAC work completed which is one less thing on the list of to dos. Thank you all so much.

This company has great customer service after hours. I called in to this company and they had a tech at my house in 1.5 hours. He was very knowledgeable and straight forward. He provided me with a fair price so I proceeded with the repair. I was so glad he had the part on his truck. He worked so hard and diligently to complete the repair. I will use this company again as I have rental property that I need to change out some of my systems at.

Randy was very professional and nice and explained what needed to be done and why. I greatly appreciate his professionalism. Dan Johnson was superb in diagnosing and solving our A/C condensate problem. He works patiently and diligently with a positive and helpful attitude. And he got along very well with our golden retriever.

North Central Florida Air conditioning simply doesnt care about keeping an appointment. Jessica gave me two hour window for appointment and called to say she couldnt make the appointment when it was the appointment time in the morning. Also she tried to set up another two hour window sometime in the afternoon. If you are willing to wait until they show up no matter how long it is, then be my guest!I made this appointment 7 days ago and there were plenty of chances to re-arrange the appointment. However, Jessica decided to contact me the last minute of the appointment time and told she couldnt make it. Some generic pretending apology on the web is not much of consolation even in the lowest moral standard.

WAY OVER PRICE, The parts are 3 too 5 times more then what you can buy them for on line. Same part same name. I needed a fan mother board north central wanted 367.00 i found the same one for 65.00. Be careful people.

I called, Randy came by within a couple of hours and fixed the system right away with a very reasonable price. Ive been using this company for years, and will continue to use it. Always pleased.

Apparently, youre not allowed to post anything but rainbows and unicorns on this page.My review is honest and personal. I worked for this company for a little over a month as a temp. As a company, theyre okay. Most issues are resolved, some arent no matter what (usually at no fault of the technicians). Some of their pricing is high in comparison. The owner is a truly wonderful, caring man unless he gets upset and then apparently he makes empty threats and get irate. The office manager is amazing and so, so sweet. The technicians are decent besides the fact that a registered sex offender (sexual predator to be exact) is one of them and is allowed in peoples homes. The owners wife has two personalities (stressed and rude). She refuses to confront any personnel issues head on and relies on other people to do her dirty work. If she decides she likes you, shell talk to you and stop you from being able to complete work. The workers are overworked and under appreciated. Favorites are played in the office while the other employees are assaulted by the hostile work environment and the general lack of human compassion shown towards you unless youre office princess. In a small town where I found so many kind, caring people, the owners wife looked at me like the devil. She even believed business was slowing due to my appearance. (Mind you, every customer I spoke with praised my customer service in comparison to others in the office theyd spoken with in the past.) So overall, they get 3 stars. Theyre a decent business with a few truly upstanding people and a few really disappointing ones. Maybe theyll learn to embrace someone who wants to better their business rather than drag it through the mud.

We have been without air all summer long. Am on a fixed in come and had to save up for even an estimate on repairs. I had run into Michael at a local gas station. He gave me his card after I had told him what I thought might be the problem. When I had the money, I called NCFAC and set up an appointment. The young women I spoke to was fantastic. She listened to my story and informed Michael of the call. The first thing she said to me was How can I make you smile? I am smiling now. Michael came by and looked at my unit for a cheaper price than his competitors. Even though I have to wait untill next month to be able to actually have work done, at least I know what to expect. If you get your a/c refrigerant filled or topped off by this company, make sure you get them to weigh their refrigerant tank before and after filling. They charged me over $500 for refrigerant which was a complete lie. Beware of this business.

To start with Initially mislead about the price of a service call. The repair technician blamed new office personnel for this misrepresentation. The repair tech spent approximately 20 minutes trouble shooting A/C problem and quoted a price I considered high, so I declined the repair. I sought a second opinion and found the repair technician from NCF A/Cs diagnosis was wrong and his quote for the misdiagnosed repair was in excess of $200 dollars higher than other AC companies in my area. I addressed my concerns to management at NCF A/Cs and also found during my conversation with them that there where inconsistencies about his written troubleshooting procedure notes and what was actually performed at my home. Not a trustworthy company.

Service was great and he was finished in less than 30 minutes.
