When the Condo we purchased A/C died just before move in day, Browning Heating & Air came to our rescue and saved us! They were amazingly kind, professional, super responsive and got the job done quickly! We love our new unit. It is quiet, efficient and keeps us cool all day and night! We contacted Browning AC when the AC in our mobile home went out. We knew we were going to need a new unit due to its age. Browning was quick to respond and sent technician Donnie Richards to determine what was needed.Although we thought we might have to wait a week or two for the installation Browning ordered the new unit and the installation was completed three days later.We can not speak highly enough about technician Donnie Richards who was highly professional and very personable. Service and craftsmanship were incredible.My compressor failed on me in the middle of July. Browning answered the phone, answered all my questions, got me a quote, and found time to replace the entire system upon my request. On top of that, they came over and installed window units for a temporary fix. Incredible!On the day of the install, the crew showed up early. I gave them a quick overview of the system, and they took it from there. I checked in every once in a while to see if I could help or offer them water. I can honestly say this is the first time I have had tradesmen in my house who treated it as their own. They could have easily just replaced the system and gone on their way. But, instead, they went above and beyond. The first thing that blew my mind was when they sealed a bunch of joints and insulated the return box without having me ask. Their attention to detail, their knowledge, and their level of professionalism were unbelievable.I was honestly blown away by the level of service at all touchpoints. I wish I could hire this company for all my service needs.

I called them around 12:50 because my AC had stopped blowing cold. They told me that someone could be out after 2:30. The technician showed up exactly at 2:30. We used Browning Heating and Air via a referral from my daughter in law who is having them replace their unit and I am so happy that I used them - David Yanczak was the technician assigned and he did a fantastic job - he repaired my AC unit and replaced my thermostat that got hit by an electrical surge as well as other parts and the cost was minimal-he did such a great job we decided to use Browning to replace our old unit and also take over the maintenance-replacing our current maintenance provider that we have used for almost 25 years …. We also plan to use them for our air duct maintenance as well and we are referring them to our other son that is in the market for a replacement unit! I would highly recommend this company to anyone!

It was after 4PM on Friday of Memorial Day weekend and the AC stopped cooling. I called the company we bought it from - no answer. So I Googled and Browning popped up. What the heck, I gave them a call and David answered! He offered to come that night and fix it but we decided on the next morning. He was at our house first thing and got us cooling straight away. David (technician) and team were exceptionally thorough in their routine maintenance of the HVAC systems. He explained to me each component of the unit and offered suggests on how to improve the efficiency of the units. He seemed to service the systems as if they were in his own home.

Quick response time to replace AC when our old unit went out at our house in Ocala. Chandler from sales was very helpful and knowledgeable and came by to assess the job. He gave us quotes on 3 alternatives to replace our existing aged system that covered all work needed to complete the job. After some miscommunication issues with one of the techs, Chandler Dowling (the head of sales for Browning Heating & Air Conditioning) showed up to my apartment personally to apologize and clear up any miscommunication. Further, he even went one step forward to install a personal window air conditioning unit in my bedroom until the root of the problem can be fixed. It was very evident that Chandler is a hard worker and cares a lot about his customers and providing them the best service that he is able to.Further update: Today at around 8:30am, Chandler showed up back to my apartment to replace the A/C unit in my apartment after providing me with a temporary window unit for the meantime while all of the parts that were necessary were being obtained. One of the men he came by with went by the name of Donny and he was an absolute delight who provided engaging communication and maintained a high level of respect while replacing my unit for the entirety of four hours. The system they installed works perfectly and can easily be used through an app on your cellular device. AMAZING customer service and satisfaction, and equally as amazing of a product. 10/10!

My AC unit was not cooling my condo. The technician came out and was able to determine it was out of refrigerant. Additionally, he was very thorough in finding and repairing the leak which was a plus for me. A couple months back when my mom’s heater was not properly working a company had to come back several times within a few days because they had not properly fixed or identified the issue costing more money than the actual problem was worth. The Browning tech was extremely pleasant and professional. I would definitely recommend this company to others in the area for service.

Mark Browning came over personally and performed a complicated repair on my HVAC system. He designed and built multiple condensate drain lines with p-traps and t-switches in a tight space on the spot. He also identified and repaired air leaks that were causing water geysering around my drain pan. In addition, he cleared a clog in the condensate drain line. He was very informative and gave me a bunch of good tips on how to best maintain my system going forward. The price was great too. Definitely would recommend.

Can’t say enough about how responsive these people are. During the pandemic we let our service contract lapse. Recently we had an issue with our cooling system. When I called Browning they immediately arranged for a repair person to come out and fix the problem. Everyone was very professional, we highly recommend Browning.

They came out after hours immediately, I am happy about that. And yes they did solve the issue within 15min. Unfortunately the bill I received, I thought, was a bit on the higher end, especially for the amount of work they had to do. I do understand you charge an after hours fee, but if it involved minor labor and it only took 15min, a more reasonable charge wouldve been appropriate.

Felt the booties were slippery so he just took off his shoes and wear socks inside my house. Clean job after they cleaned the air duct. I have been using Mark Browning for at least 12 years now and recommend him to everyone I know. I always receive thank you calls telling me how honest and fair his pricing is and how great the service was. One of my first experiences was with my mom who was told by another company that her AC unit was shot and that it needed replacing. I called Mark because we had done business in the past. Upon inspection, he told me the unit was fine and all it needed was cleaning. Eventually we did replace it but not until 7 years later! I have heard similar stories from other people. Now that his business has grown I am amazed that he has been able to instill in his employees the same caring and thoughtful manner that he has. My brother in law now owns an AC company but I still call Browning for everything. This review is long overdue and well deserved.

The entire team at Browning is a pleasure to do business with. The owner, Mark Browning and also Hunter Quinn were very happy to answer all of my questions and explain my options. They were able to order a factory replacement part for our air conditioner late in the afternoon, and first thing the next day Hunter came over and cheerfully brought new life into our older air conditioner. Simply put, they do what they say they will, and say what they are going to do, plus the final price was Lower than what was quoted!

We recently changed out an old outside unit which cooled and heated a den and bedroom and upgraded to a split Mitsubishi unit with two heads. The unit is incredibly quiet! We enjoyed working with Mark -- he estimated exactly what we needed, provided a full and complete quote, and was sensitive to the placement of the inside unit, as well as the inevitable pruning of one of the bushes outside to get the old unit out. Our AC works great! The bill is more expensive than having individual window units but those things arent built to last. The one that worked the longest was 3 years. All others have been replaced at least once.The only weird thing is that theres a smell of urine when the heating is on, but not when the cooling is on. Ive sprayed Lysol in there, Ive cleaned the space the AC is located, Ive cleaned the filter. I cant figure out what it is.Ill call them and see if they recommend anything and Ill adjust my review if the problem can be solved.Edit: problem solved. They burned off the dust that collected in there.

Browning heating and air came out and they had to replace my fan motor which I had replaced by another heating and air company last week but they failed to come back to deal with the problem I was having and I didnt want to wait and have for the Damage Done to my unit so I called Browning they called me back within 5 minutes they came out this morning to take care of the problem I wasnt happy about having to put another motor on but its better to have the correct Motors and not correct motor and have your whole compressor in your heating and air system blow up so I was very happy with how they handled the situation and Im just glad to have the matter resolved

Ive been holding off on writing this review for a while, but felt after todays service call, I just had to finally mention Browning AC.First, a little context...We had our house for sale for a few months and had a professional home inspection from a prospective buyer. Everything went fine, except noting that our AC was 27 years old (original to when the house was built). Then, all of a sudden, the AC stopped working. We were referred to Browning AC who promptly came over for a service call late. They were straight to the point - the compressor is overloading the mains, and obviously very old. Since we were selling the house, we decided it was best to just buy a new AC through them.Enter Chandler. What else can be said that other reviews have not? Hes a great, honest guy who never upsells you on anything. You know youre in good hands when you have their personal number and will explain everything about the process of buying, installing and inspection of the AC systems they sell and install. They are always in communication every step of the way. You really do get the feeling they are a family-owned business and actually care. Actually, I think they might be the only AC company in the Gainesville area thats actually concerned more about their customer service, installation and customer satisfaction over profit. They never once bothered us with an invoice until after the final county inspection and we were satisfied.We decided on a new system (AC, Furnace and Condenser) - the installers were amazing. They took the time to be careful, professional and friendly. They had the entire job finished in a day while having to work in the attic in the middle of summer. They even came back the next morning to replace the trim and wooden ladder to the attic they had to remove for the install.As for the new system - its amazing. We all know how expensive GRU is - let alone an old AC running in the middle of summer. Well, our GRU bill for July 2018 was $441. With the new AC installed by Browning for July 2019 - $277. Our GRU electric bill was cut in half with an efficient AC system.Anyway, back to this morning. We had a home inspection done again by another prospective buyer and they noted that the flue pipe had come loose in the attic from our AC install. I called Browning and they literally had the original installer back at the house within the hour and fixed in 15 minutes. Now thats service.So, if you want to make sure you are getting the best deal, with no B.S. from a family-owned business who actually cares with professionalism and pride in their work and the products they service - Id check out Browning.
