For the last several years, I’ve done mostly platelet donations at this location. The people that work here are always a delight! And they know what they’re doing. They always make it a point to thank you for donating, more than just once. It’s always an easy process to make an appointment, check-in, and donate. My visit today to donate whole blood was especially wonderful. My boyfriend and I decided that instead of dinner for Valentine’s Day, we would have a date at the American Red Cross- to donate blood! The staff seemed to like this idea. Everyone was incredibly kind to me, and to my boyfriend- this was his first time ever donating. We really enjoyed everyone’s kindness and gratitude for us showing up to donate. I’ll be back soon guys!!
The staff here is so pleasant & welcoming! They really take care of you & make sure you’re comfortable during the donation process.
My very first time donating blood at this location and my first time donating in quite awhile. The staff was extremely friendly and did a great job of explaining things. Nas and Ikram made me feel comfortable throughout the donation. I also felt very safe with their covid precautions. Thank you Nas and Ikram!
Every eligible person should donate blood, life you save could be mine 🤣
I had a great experience today and want to thank Louis the phlebotomist for his wonderful service. I am a 2nd time blood donor who didnt have a great experience the 1st time, but I did today. They are doing a lot of screening and sanitizing, so please go donate if youre eligible!
I donate double red cells at this donation center. The issue that I recently had was that I scheduled my blood donation two weeks in advance of the actual donation. It was scheduled during their regular business hours. Three days before the donation, I received a call stating that the blood drive has been canceled. When I called to reschedule, I asked how it could be canceled when it was during their regular business hours. I was told that they decided to only do platelets that day, so they canceled all blood donations. While I understand that platelet donations are also important, is it really necessary to cancel all blood donations? The red cross is always stressing how few donors are out there, and how the need for blood is at an all time high. Then they take one of the only days out of the month that I have available to donate blood and cancel it? This was very discouraging. Instead, I will now be driving all the way across town during rush hour traffic to donate. This is not a way to keep people wanting to donate blood.
Ive been donating here for about 5 years now the staff is always great. Yesterday Chris did a fantastic job he was up beat and professional.
I like this location and the people are great but I have to reduce a star because it is FREEZING in there. I donate plasma once a month and even with layers you get very cold there. If they need to keep the blood cold they can use fridges but they dont have to freeze up the whole place.
They are great here. Just wish they would bring back Crystal Light!
Quick and semi-painless.
Great care and very professional.
I arrived at 2:45 on a Thursday. It says on google they’re open until 7:00 pm. The person was not friendly about me coming in to donate past 2:30. They apparently close at 2:30. I didn’t get to give blood.
Donating blood is great
