James had very clear communication and time frame on getting our lawn mower serviced and running for us again. He looked over our weed eater but suggested I take it by a dealer who could get the correct replacement carburetor for it. Ill be using James again in the near future.

I very rarely give negative reviews, but this one deserves it. I went here because of the high reviews but sadly disappointed.First things first. This is James side business and he works full time. Thus communication will be late afternoons and weekends. He is also overloaded at times.My riding lawn mower was brought in due to engine sputtering and transmission slipping. Over three weeks later I recieved a call from him stating he was stumped and to come get it. Neither problems where fixed. He did not charge me anything which is the only good part. Next day I started working on it and 3 hrs later both problems resolved; carburetor cleaned and missing clip on transmission. I love supporting the small businesses, but they sometimes fall short like this time. Hope others have better luck but come in with open mind.

I highly recommend JLC for any small engine repairs. Very honest and great person to work with.I took my Lowes Troybilt blower to him because it would not stay running. He quickly discovered there was zero oil. He replaced the gas and filled the oil and charged me nothing. It runs great now. He works on any type of small engines.

James is the most honest person you will ever meet. He will provide you with the best service at the best price and always goes out of his way to provide info and tips to help you maintain your lawn tools.

James is very knowledgeable and professional. He fixed my lawnmower in record timing, faster than any other brick & mortor place quoted me AND it was under the quoted prices I researched. I even learned some things for future preservation of my equipment. Ill definitely go back and will definitely refer everyone I know. If youre reading this, get with James. Ohhh, and he even let me use his loaner push mower since i needed to cut the grass asap. What a guy!!
