NOTE: I GAVE SMITHFIELD A 1 STAR . IT WAS MEANT FOR FUQUAY LOCATION.No customer service at all. We waited for someone to approach us to just say hello, someone will be with you as soon as we can but that didnt happen. Several people walked right by us and then others in offices just looked at us. So we left and bought a $3500 mower somewhere else. Oh well Quality Equipment.

Stopped by to pick up a part and it was straight forward. Helpful parts department but when I asked about an attachment I had to talk to a sales guy. I asked about a quote for a 4 in 1 bucket and they gave me a 3k price when the part should only be about $1800, and that’s not including the third function valve, seems to me that they are charging more than they are actually worth. Do your homework before you visit, wouldn’t recommend

Came in wanting to buy a 355R zero turn. Asked parts how do I buy a lawn mower? They went to the sales office and did their part. That was it? I stood in the store 15 mins, no one said hello, be right with you, sorry we are so busy, etc. went outside and looked for a while and no one said anything. Several folks in shorts, may have been customers walking around, a gentleman with a broken foot who I think was in sales but never spoke. You read to buy these at a dealer for the customer service, maybe that is at the parts and service department. Saw this in several other reviews before I came. Guess I should have listened.

Very unprofessional, dont stand true to there word. They would rather you bring your mower there with no timeline on when it would be fixed. (Im sure they would find something to replace for no less than 1k) instead of replacing a $15 part they sold me. Would NOT recommend!!!Everybody got to Hudsons than this placeTo the owner, I bought this lawnmower 4/10/16Im pretty sure the warranty is up by now. The guy couldve replaced the part that I PAID for that broke. They would rather me take another day off work bring the, mower just to say it not under warranty and rack a bill up. My hopes are a lot of people see this and stay away from quality equipment. All this nonsense over $15. This is uncalled for.

I called Quality equipment this morning to inquire about a mulching kit for my newly purchased John Deere. I have had 2 other JD mowers and always been pleased with their parts department. This Morning I talked with Chris who told me they had one in stock and would hold it for me. Since I was unable to leave work I asked my wife to pick it up for me. She said he carried it to her car for her without even being asked. I later called to thank him for this and his response was I wouldnt even think of not carrying it for her this is a great company and Chris is a great example of their excellent customer service. They always are very helpful, have great attitudes and excellent pricing. Thanks again Chris for making Quality equipment look great once again!

Beautiful store, terrible customer service. I have purchased several times from this dealership and each time I say I wont go back. Every time I walk in the door I feel like Im in the way. Nobody wants to help. Maybe if I were a 70 year old local farmer in a new truck I would be treated like family??? Shame because its convenient and they seem to have a good selection. Id love to see what kind of sales I could get out of this store with the proper staff!

Service mgr Kiffin Perry,Sales Chris and Joe, service tech Benji all showed me the Quality of people that work at Quality Equipment! And the delivery driver too..missed his name sorry. Well where do I begin. Fuquay Varina warranty department is something else . I had my 5 month old riding mower picked up because the belt kept popping off. They picked it up, kept it for 14 days and when I got it back a few days ago it was worse than what it was when I sent it in under warranty. They fixed everything but what I complained about . They never said anything about my belt or the pulley system which is all that was wrong with it. They lowered the deck, checked tire pressures, and added a relay switch or something but dangitman thats not what I told them was wrong and after 14 days of no mower, grass looking like no one lives here, it comes back like I said worse. The blades wont even engage now and that wasnt an issue I had with my mower before they got ahold of it. Geesh......

Great place to go. I wanted to look at buying a tube of grease and the counter was very helpful and a salesman come out and spoke to me. Not sure what the McDonalds guy problem is. I have always been treated well.

Got the E130.. very affordable lawn tractor.. have added a 2 tow ball, I can move my boat and use my 14 util trailer for my yard work. The oil change is so! Easy..like they say.. 30 SECOND change! I do my car-boat-weed trimmer maintenance.. but THIS beats them all!

Chris and Joe were both super friendly and professional during my recent purchase of a Stihl chainsaw. I drove all the way from Wilmington to Fuquay Varina to buy the saw because of how well I was treated over the phone. The stores in Wilmington or somewhat lacking in the customer service department and that alone convinced me that I didnt want them to have my business.So I am so glad that I called the store and spoke with Chris. Upon arriving at the store I was introduced to the store manager, Joe. He was professional and had great customer service. Quality Equipment has definitely impressed me and will always have my business. You would be well served if you gave these guys the opportunity to sell you some awesome equipment.

This place is great for repair and parts, however I would recommend buying lawnmowers from Lows or Home Depot. They seem to be ore interested in selling their bigger farm equipment.

Do not take your mower here. Said it would be 1 week to repair and part of it would be under warranty. Its been 3 and I still do not have mower and now none of it is under warranty. They cannot find paper work and mower. These basic john Deeres also seem to be made very cheaply overseas. Designed to break right after 1 year warranty. Buyer Beware! Hope I get my mower back

Not very impressed with the service department or Quality Equipment as a whole...when you are running a business you have to communicate with your customers especially when it is taking longer then what was quoted originally. I never received a phone call from them. I felt like we had to stay on top of what was going on, because nobody knew what was going on with my generator or when it was going to be finished. A few times I had to show up in person because I could not get anyone on the phone. We were quoted a week and $125.00. After almost a week had already gone by, my wife and I both had to call them to find out that it was just being pulled on that day to be looked at. We ended up waiting two weeks, and we paid almost $200.00 after it was all said and done. We are very disappointed and will not be giving them our business again.

Poor service, slow, expensive and I truly wonder how they are still in business. If you can go anywhere else you should. I have no other way to convey the poor communications skills other than to tell it to you straight...3 weeks to put a belt on. In the summer, thats too long. Whats worse is when you call, they are clueless as to the status of your issue. This is a fix that effective management should pursue. The other 5 star reviews look suspicious.

WARNING. Do not purchase equipment from this location. The service department is incompetent, repairs take extended period of times, and everything is done to void your warranty. This commercial equipment cost to much money to be dealing with replacing it after six months. I advice you to run.Lee C

Went in back in April of 2018 to buy a basiclawn tractor. I had purchase one from revels tractor 14 years prior and had a great experience and had hoped to experience it again. They called a salesman from the back and i asked him the price of a certain model. He acted like i pulled him away fro. Something more important. I just told him thanks for his time and went and bougth another brand ata home improvement store. My sone loves to go there 2 or 3 tomes a year and look and buy toys. Other than the toys my son wants to but i will make lawn care equipment purchaces elsewhere.

Service manager is rude. Store manager is rude. They overcharged $1000 on bill by doing repairs not authorized. Had to verbally fight for money back. Now refuse to warranty their work. Parts and sale are great.

I contacted John Deere for part for my BC1600 weed trimmer. I called this establishment to inquire if they had a muffler and muffler gasket. they put me on hold for more than ten minutes. I hung up and called back in five min. I said i understand if you are busy. I will give you my number and you can call me when you get a chance. He said no it was fine he could help me. I asked him about the parts and he said my weed wacker was too old and they did not sell mufflers for it anymore. (it is fifteen years old and yes... they are available.) I will never do any business with these clowns. My Snapper riding mower is currently not doing well, I was searching craigslist for a new one. I saw a lot of John Deeres... With a service place like this being my only option for parts I will not be choosing John Deere!

Took my Farm Boss chain Saw to get serviced, and sure enough balde came back as dull as a butter knife wont be cutting to many trees in NC with that. It is pretty sad especially after I have spent close to $5,000 there.

I purchased some parts on Sat. from Kiffin and took them to my service company that I have been using almost 20 yrs.They called me Mon. morning and told me that I had purchased the wrong blades for my John Deere.After making a call to Kiffin in parts, he said no problem, we will have the correct ones there by lunch and Kiffin delivered them himself.Service is all a company has to sell, and Kiffin & Quality Equipment delivered in Fuquay-Varina.
