Im compelled to write this review because I fully believe that if youre buying or selling a house in Orange County and using anyone who isnt the Drakes, youre doing yourself a disservice. We sold our house after we had already moved out of state, which could have been a very stressful experience, but the Drakes constantly went above and beyond. They checked on the house daily, kept us constantly informed on what was happening, and did an absolutely wonderful job getting the place ready to sell. Once we had an offer (the very first day we accepted offers!), they were there at every point and making sure nothing fell through the cracks. We have used Cristal and David Drake twice now - once for the sale of our Fullerton house in 2016, and again this winter for the sale of our parents (now deceased) condo in Huntington Beach. In both instances they were fantastic to work with. Both times we were out of the area while the house was on the market, and the properties were empty. They did an incredible job taking care of security, necessary maintence/repairs, cleaning, etc. - well beyond the call of duty. They kept us fully informed as to what was going on. Cristal is as good as they get. We had a complicated scenario and she worked with us through the entire process. In the year, and I do mean year, of complications that were out of our control Cristal was a gem. When we finally made and offer her advice was in valuable!. Years ago I found Cristal on yelp and contacted her about listing my property. It was my first time listing and I was clueless. She came out, gave me a list of chores to get the house ready. She helped find a handyman and painters to assist. We got the house ready and Cristal had a professional photographer come out to take pictures. The photos looked fantastic. Cristals description on the listing was amazing. She really knows how to advertise your property. We told her that we needed to get out of the property fast. 45 days after listing we closed escrow. She likes to tell me that is not typical and cant be promised again ;-)So recently I was listing another property, of course I called Cristal again. We did the same evaluation of the property and fixed it all up. I was a little worried about the time frame because several other units in my area had taken several months to get an offer. But they didnt have Cristal. She had her team stage the property to where it looked like something from a magazine. I almost didnt want to leave!Again she got the professional photos and the great write up describing the property. We listed on Thursday, open house Saturday, and we received 2 offers Sunday!Escrow took a little longer this time, but Cristal was on it, calling the buyers lender and agent, and keeping me informed the whole time. Because Cristal is so well connected within the industry, she had heard of house that we would love going on the market shortly. 8 days after our initial meeting, we checked out this particular house, loved it, and had Sasha help us put of first offer on a house. Cristal and Sasha worked their magic, and we opened escrow just 5 days later. 28 days later, we closed escrow, and are loving our house!Cristal is a chameleon.
