Great place to donate.I donate platelets and plasma and the staff is very friendly and helpful.Download the Red Cross and complete the rapid pass before going in to save yourself some time.Don’t be late to your appointment or you might get turned away.
I like coming here. I know with everything going on that we are taking all kinds of extra precautions. I just ask when you wipe down the chairs make sure they are dry before someone seats down. My black short were bleached. So much for those shorts
I made appointment 4pmLet wait two hours just checkingSo bad so slow
Something was poking at me to write a review on the Red Cross Donation Center. Something in my mind just kept needling me to do it. So I thought I would take the plunge and see what I could draw out of myself. To be honestly its left me a little drained. ;)Anyway, staff here is friendly and efficient. Ive never had trouble with any of the technicians, but I have AMAZING veins so they love it when I come around. Ive only donated platelets at this location, I do my blood donating at blood drives at my office. They open nice and early so its a great way to start the day and feel great about yourself!
We try to donate every 10 weeks. This is the first time I have gone to a donation center, I usually go to a blood drive. I did not make an appointment I was a walk in. They were very slow. Only helping 1 person st a time. Ive seen the blood drive help 2 to 3 people at a time. I dont think Im coming back here again. Its blood drive or nothing g from now on. Ive been here over an hour so far and I think I have an hour or more left. I just keep telling myself it for a good cause.
Great staff. My friend wasnt feeling well after she donated and they took great care of her.
I liked it. Great place to give blood.
They call me every day until I donate. When I finally go into this donation center they said I cant donate. My doctor said to go to Red Cross to donate and I have been doing so for 2+ years with no issues because I have a higher red blood cell count on occasion because I am a competitive athlete. So after waiting an hour of my time and gas for blood they sell to hospitals anyways they would not take my blood.
Once I learned the importance of donating blood, every 58 days you will find me here. Great experience each time Ive donated, each time a different phlebotomist! For those that are apprehensive, just breathe, and KNOW the benefit. Every 2 seconds in the US there is a blood transfusion. The need is real.
I donate every few months like clockworkIt’s always clean and sanitaryI love the nurses here
Nice, friendly people, professionals at 100/100. I like it.
Red Cross is located right off of Euclid and Rosecrans Ave at 1144. Been giving the maroon colored stuff at this location for many years now. Giving blood can be causing smiles/or grins and terror for the majority.Blood extracted from Median Cubital Vein is not heaven for most. Few friends/family come with me to give blood. Line cue and waiting may take up to an hour. Do use Red Pass (medical version of 3rd degree questions). Lots of humor may be discovered at this location.Nurses, Regina, Maria and Loretta, Claudia, Neda in reception were the team on hand and I am thankful for care. Do hydrate before giving blood and realize it may be your donation that helps to “save a life.” Special thanks to Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints (stellar intake and attention to details!) COVID19 temp check, sanitizer and masks in place. No touch temperature machine installed at entry---tech heaven.
Very disappointed. 10 minuets before they even signed me in. Another 10 minuets before I was grilled about having my 5 year old with me if something went wrong. Told them I am a 10 GALLON donor from Florida and there was no risk. Grilling continued.During this entire 20 minuets the screener saw 2 people in between joining the ongoing conversation between two phlebotomists and a technician standing in the back while one phlebotomist attended one person donating whole blood. At no point was I given anything to fill out. If the employees were on a break or at lunch I understand, but to stand around in view while people are not being helped.....Got tired of the individual grilling me not listening to the fact that I have given almost 100 donations and there was NO risk, so I left.
Workers are very friendly, kind, and make sure youre comfortable. If you are donating blood for the first time the workers take extra care of you 😊
Always glad to give blood great area great place in Fullerton employees polite and courteous
Nurses as professional and kind ! Great job
What can I say,.... Keep on doing what youre doing American Red Cross !!
The people who work here are very kind and attentive.
Very kind and efficient phlebotomists, the lot of them.
Didnt have a good experience here cam twice already and they dont inform me properly about under what conditions you can or cant donate. I want to donate blood for personal reasons but I probably wont come to this location again I took time out of my schedule must for them to tell me i couldnt donate.
Always a positive experience and the staff is so nice! 😊💓💉
They only help one person at a time, very slow. 2 hours for a pint of blood. Dont come here. Appointments also waited.
If you have too much blood and need to get rid of some, this is the place to do it.
Very kind and gentle
Go there.
Quite orderly run
