I have a mechanical background and have done most of the service on my own vehicles. I went through most the reviews for this shop and the only two negative reviews obviously dont understand typical shop procedures. BMWs typically have specific items that have problems that occur within each model and year. Experienced mechanics using their knowledge replace parts and sometimes it is a process of elimination. Overall because of their specified knowledge they get it right on the first attempt. Sometimes not. I have a new late model BMW that I took to Rob and he took great care in servicing my car. Many years back his dad also did some work for me and I was also very satisfied with the experience!
We’ve been coming to Bavarian for over 10 yrs. (we have 2 BMW 330iC.)Ron is the best. We trust him to do what is needed for our cars, never padding his labor or doing something that wasn’t needed. His prices are very reasonable.
I have been coming here for 10 years. Rob has done a great job for me throught out the years. Always been honest with the repairs and have never come back for a do over repair. I recommend Rob and his business 100%
I normally go to the BMW dealership for servicing but my office is 25 miles away. This morning when I pulled into work I noticed the oil lamp indicator on so I Googled the closest BMW specialist and found Bavarian Autotechs Inc. called and spoke with Rob who said to bring it in. Within 5 minutes after arriving, Bob quickly checked and determined all it needed was an oil top-off. The whole visit was less than 10 minutes and Rob was both attentive and courteous. All the positive Yelp reviews are right about this place and Im adding mine too. Ill be bringing in my auto to Bavarian Autotechs Inc. again. Nice to know that places like this still exist -- fast, efficient, courteous and a focus on customer service.
Great, fast service!!! Ive been comming here for my BMWs since 2005... that tells you how good the service is...
If you want a no-nonsense mechanic who knows BMWs very well, then try Rob at Bavarian Auto Techs. I came here after trying several other mechanics who were supposed to know what they were doing. In this age of do-it-yourself videos being readily available online, I will only trust a pro with the Master Technician designation with my BMW.
I dont take my M to anywhere but this place. Rob will be honest with you and will save you tons of money when you have a problem with your BMW. Ive been coming here for last 5 years and he has not disappointment me once. I am not saying this to impress the shop. The guy is so genuine and you will be happy not overpaying money on somewhere else fixing your vehicle. Just give them a call and you will be totally satisfied with the work.
If you own a BMW this is the place for you. These guys are always cheaper and Rob knows what he is doing. The dealer alternative. Glad he is here to fix my BMW.
Expert repair and maintenance at much lower prices than BMW dealerships. Ive been going here for many years back in the days of Manfred and John. Now Rob is in charge, the service is as expert and reliable as ever. Trust him with your MW - you wont regret it.
Ive been coming here for years to get my BMW serviced. They consistently save me 25% versus what the dealer would charge. I like that they tell me what NEEDS to be done, what SHOULD be done and what can wait until later. Theres never an upsell because they know their honest service will bring you back. And youre always dealing with one of the owners who also does the diagnosis and repairs.
These guys are the only ones I trust to work on my BMW! I never have a bad experience here. Theyre honest and fast. Thank you, Bavarian Auto Techs!
Horrible supervisor lied to me told me that the part I want it wouldnt work and that I was going to need four to five parts and quoted me four hundred plus dollars he was rude to me over the phone kept cutting me off when I was trying to explain something to him will guess what boys I got the part I needed and it works I put it in myself cost me $50 at Autobahn and they did it with excellent customer service. And my mechanic refereed me to this place and have spent lots of money there so guess what they wont be back and either will I. So now my so now Im a mechanic uses Autobahn and so do I and proud of it
Ive been a customer for 4yrs. Always very satisfied with their work and professionalism.
Rob, maintain and take care of all our Bimmers for the last 4 years. Honest. Direct. Trusted, knowledgable, goes out of his way to get our cars done on time and dedicated Business owner. I got to know his Dad too.I recommend his workmanship very much. Blessed to know that our cars are been taken care of very well.He has a collection of Bimmers. His prices are very reasonable.
Great BMW mechanics
The best BMW repair in Southern California by far. I’ve been going exclusively to Rob for 13 years
I took my 95 318is here for an oil/fluid leak that was getting nasty junk all over my engine, I was happy with some things and not with others.Good: The owner is very friendly and took me out to my car while he looked for the leak. He told me what he could do and was very upfront. He seemed like he knew his stuff and the shop seemed well run and clean. He told me about how he goes to Germany each year and told me about his pics of Germany on the walls. Seemed like a real Beemer lover.Bad: He told me it could be the crankshaft seal or the power steering lines and that he could replace them. I had him replace the crank seal because I really didnt think it was the power steering lines, it but it didnt fix the leak. I took my car to another shop (that doesnt even specialize in Beemers) and they told me they could steam clean the engine and run it for while to pinpoint the leak. After doing that, they found out it was the power steering pump that was leaking, NOT the power steering lines or the crank seal. Got the PS pump replaced and the leak stopped immediately. Why didnt Bavarian Autotech diagnose it in the first place instead of wasting my money and throwing parts at the problem?? And they wanted to replace the power steering lines too! All it takes a little effort upfront to target the issue and spare the customer time and money.Im not real happy about their lack of care in diagnosing the issue. He did seem very busy, so maybe he didnt have time to steam clean it, but if you dont have the time to do something the right way, why do it at all? Maybe the shop doesnt have steam cleaning capabilities either, but they could have directed me to a place that does and then had me come back to them. I want to like this shop. but I cant with my experience there.
I own bmws specifically for they guys. When my current car gives out, Ill be buying another bmw. I wouldnt want to take my car anywhere else.Rob is honest, will tell you what needs to be done AND what doesnt need to be done. He does his best to save you money.Im not the most trusting individual when it comes to mechanics (Im a young female and dont know much about cars so people try to rip me off all the time), but I never have to worry with Rob and Manfred. Theyre the best.
Service was quick and the price is much better than dealership.
