Oxford North is a great student living place. The apartments come fully furnished and are study friendly- I have a study desk and chair in my room which is so useful, esp since there is online learning now. Maintenance and staff are are always available to assist. Overall, I have no complaints and highly recommend. It was perfect for me esp moving from the East Coast in the midst of a pandemic.
Oxford North is a nice apartment complex. Very close to campus and a lot of the residents are very nice and friendly. The office employees are also great! I love when they give away free food. Shout out to Jamie and the rest of the CAs for being so friendly and kind.
Oxford north truly gives you the experience of California lifestyle. It’s very close to CSUF and within reasonable driving distance to the beach, mountains and even LA downtown. However, there are also many great bars nearby in places such as DTF (Downtown Fullerton), Orange District, and Anaheim. The best thing about OXN is the people who live there. Mostly students from CSUF and/or exchange students from other countries. The OXN facilities are excellent for socializing and having a fun time with your friends. Be it the pool, gym or rec center (with pool tables and table tennis) there is always something to do.The staff is very friendly and helpful! Special shoutout to Murphy, he’s been an absolute legend in making sure that our stay is as good as it can be. We love hanging out with the staff and they’re definitely a vital part of the OXN experience. The apartments in OXN are good. The rooms are large (even the single room) and they provide us with some furniture for the apartment. However, it is highly recommended that you buy some extra stuff on your own, to give your room a personal feel.
If you are looking for an inexpensive way to live in a community, look no further. Everything you could want is right here at Oxford North. I was looking for a place to crash, while being a part of a community. I found it at Oxford North.
Very friendly staff, who are always willing to help, Jamie in particular who seems to always be in the office! Maintenance requests are always handled promptly and in a timely matter as well:)
I am a current employee here at Oxford North, and this is my honest review.Oxford North is truly a unique apartment complex. Different from traditional style housing, our staff works extremely hard to create an off-campus, engaging community for all of our residents. From our fully furnished apartments to our residents that occupy them, Oxford North holds a special place in student housing. Under Campus Advantage, our efforts as staff are devoted solely towards making our residents happy and to have a positive impact in their lives. If you are still undecided, please come in for a tour and see what we are all about - I promise you, you will not be disappointed. I would recommend Oxford North apartments to anyone without hesitation.
New management is horrible very unpleasant staff
Oxford North-fullerton has been very unprofessional in my experience with them. I have left several emails/messages on active bldg for resident manager only to never get a response and upon arriving with my son to move him into his unit the place was infested with roaches and the young lady at the counter offered to come kill them, not find alternate sleeping arrangements for my son and with the amount this place charges and based off the website you would expect a higher level of living not sleeping in unsanitary unkept housing. Its like there was no cleaning done before the move in date at all and if there was someone dropped the ball by not checking the work. Now they do not want to let people out of lease but yet they have failed to deliver on their end of the deal with what they advertise and what they actually give. Please reconsider alternatives before moving here.
I came by for a tour recently and I was very interested. Although other circumstances arrived, I was practically sold on the apartment prior. One of the biggest factors was Dylan from the front office. He really did a great job making me interested over email and during our tour.Would highly recommend checking out this apartment complex.
Oxford North is a wonderful place to live, it is conveniently located, and has many amenities that make living here a great experience. The best part about Oxford North is the incredibly kind and caring staff. Liz in the office is nice, helpful, and a very friendly face. She gets things done in a timely manner, and makes the residents feel important and valued. I highly recommend living at Oxford north!
Everything about Oxford North is great! The location, the atmosphere, neighbors and staff (especially Cole, Leah, and the whole front office staff). They are both very helpful and nice and always have the answers to my questions! When I first started looking at places to live down here at the beginning of the semester, this was the first place I looked at and I immediately loved it! The move-in process was very smooth and the staff did a great job making it flow and move smoothly.I cant wait for the upcoming social events you guys are planning!
It’s a great place to live but they will do what ever it takes to not have to give you your deposition back. I was an exchange student from sweden. They charged me a cleaning fee + a standard fee(which is really weird since the deposition is my money) even though I cleaned it to perfection. I payed them every month via bank transfer but once it was time to pay out what was left of my deposition they would only do so using a check. A check that a country like Sweden is unable to cash. When I asked about alternative payment method apparently it was impossible to give the money back another way - even though I payed them every month that way. Conclusion: Do you want an adventure and an amazing time? Chose Oxford North!Do you want your deposition back? Chose anything else but Oxford North!
So far so great! Everything is easily accessed (laundry, mail/packages, pool, etc.), office staff are super kind and helpful, and the apartments themselves are really nice!
Great place, free ice cream. Everyone really friendly,Cole and Murphy are great. Murphy helped me carry my heavy keyboard up the stairs. Casey has been great helping me set up and helping with everything. Nothing but good things
I come over to the complex all the time. I have many friends that live here. The close proximity to Cal State Fullerton and the friendly residents make me want to live here. Even though I live at home, not far from school, Im almost eager to move to Oxford North with my friends. I have even met some of the staff such as Dylan and they all seem to love it there as much as the residents do.
The leasing office is horribly unprofessional. Maintenence is either extremely low staffed or just mind numbing slow. Its very clear the leasing doesnt care about those who live here. Many people were promised a 250 dollar gift card for when they moved in if they signed a lease 24 hours after they toured. Like many others Ive waited MONTHS. Good luck trying to talk to someone about it, everyone Ive talked to is rude and calling corporate brought forth an oblivious new hire who simply stated she didnt know how to do her job correctly yet. Looks like training isnt the strong suit of the company and if you live here you know nothing is really their strong suit. If your moving here as a student, this isnt true student housing just so you dont get the wrong idea. There are a LOT of people who are mucg older. Also there are a lot of empty parking spaces so dont feel the need to actually pay for a garage no matter what you are told. They argue their competitors cant offer lower prices and now I see why. Cant seem to open the pool. Cant seem to give me the money they owe me. Cant seem to get maintenence out to fix things. Ill consider changing this review if I get my giftcard but until then, Oxford North as a whole is a company that loves to take your money but will be hesitant to help you in any way, shape, or form. If your thinking of moving here, think about moving elsewhere in the area first. The more premium prices of apartments in the surrounding area are justified. You get what you are paying for.
Really good place, good price, great for first time moving out
Oxford North has been more than just another apartment complex; it has been my home away from home. The amazing moments I have had here are ones I will never forget. The office staff is always able to help with any issues that may come up. The events are amazing!! The chance to win a prize or just be able to have fun with your friends makes it more spectacular. The rent is a reasonable price for everything they offer! If you are looking for a great place to live, with great staff, great food, and great times, Oxford North is the place to live.
Oxford North is an awesome property! The grounds are really nice, as are the units. It’s super close to campus as well. I would definitely live here if I went to Cal State Fullerton.
All of my interactions with the staff have been great. Everyone is super helpful whenever I need something. Cole has been especially friendly and accommodating during my time here.
I have living here for close to a month now, and I am very happy to say that I will enjoy staying here for many more months to come! The Oxford North apartment complex is one of the best apartments I have ever had the pleasure of staying at across my academic career. The complex is very nice, and boasts a pool, gymnasium, and study hall. It is very well maintained, and the maintenance staff is very friendly and helpful! The location is extremely convenient for CSUF students, and is right across from campus and the beautiful Fullerton Arboretum. Parking has never been an issue either. The rooms themselves are very spacious, and very well equipped/fully furnished (Including wifi!). Prices are very reasonable, and are a great option for students!Oh and then there is the best part: the office staff! Since the moment I got a guided tour (thank you Dylan!), to Cole and Leah helping me get my parking permits, and to Casey (the leasing manager, everyone has greeted me with a smile and have always been genuinely happy to assist me. Part of the reason why I chose to live here (and renew my lease recently) is because of all the office staff, and sorry if I forgot any names. They all make me feel like part of the Oxford north community, and I am very happy to be here! [P.S. This was an unsolicited review and my comments are genuine]
This is a great apartment complex! I love spending time here and love how close it is to the school. Cole especially has been very welcoming and makes the times I spend here great!
Erin is the most nicest person I ever met. Erin and I get along so well with each other. I feel like she is a big sister to me. I hope she helps me with the air pods too.
Oxford North is a great option for student housing. Very close to campus, awesome amenities, and friendly staff. I love that theres a grassy quad area and it feels like home, truly. If anyone is looking for housing, Id highly recommend Oxford North!
I came to visit the property with my friend that lives there and it was far more pleasant than what I had expected. I attended their Super Bowl event and they offered me food. The current residents were so kind and they will be seeing more of me soon!
Had such a great experience getting a look around these beautiful apartments with Leah! She was so nice and answered all my questions. I’m hoping to move in here soon! Thank you again!
The Leasing Manager In The Front Office Is The Absolute Nicest Person Ive Spoke To Since Ive Been In California. The Erin Lady Is Also So Helpful The Model Is Amazing And They Even Gift You With Snacks Upon Arrival .
Greatly located across the street from campus, the appts are fully furnished with new furniture and utilities included, with plenty of parking, along with good security measures! The staff are willing to help 24/7, and are kind and accommodating, while creating a fun and including environment via events. Especially Cole M, who was a great help to my friends and I on move in day, and throughout time I’ve lived here.
Oxford north is a great apartment complex very lowkey and chill. The staff is great and they are always willing to help with any issues. The apartments are fully furnished. such great apartments!
I toured Oxford North recently and it is awesome! Cole Meininger gave me the tour and told me all the details I needed. I am going to move in next semester and I know I made the right decision!
Ive been interested in moving into Oxford North and Dylan politely and efficiently answered my questions. The service was amazing and will hopefully be a resident soon.
So update on my review for University Village. Obviously every place you are going to live at is gonna have it’s up and downs, but not everywhere you go is going to have amazing people. The people who work at University Village are so sweet and show a great amount of hospitality. It is my first year in college and being away from my family and the employees here make it feel like home. University Village has great size apartments, great food, and a very safe environment. Heads up for those who live here or want to live here: if something is wrong in the apartment, just go to the office and let them know. They are more then willing to come a fix anything. Recently just received a small gift from them because I was a little upset before with the services, but all is well know and everything in my apartment is running smoothly. They gave me a little note saying “Thank you for giving us another ‘round’ at making your stay at UV more enjoyable” and gave me some tennis balls stuffed with chocolate! Yum! Aha Once again as you can see the employees here treat you like family and go above and beyond to show you hospitality! Big thanks to Sharon, Lisa, and Mike!
CA’s like Cole and Murphy are extremely helpful and kind. The socials put on by management are great ways to meet other residents.
I found the apartments very pretty. Cole gave me a great tour and was especially friendly.
I have had an amazing Oxford North Experience. The staff is very friendly and they do their best to keep their residents happy. Leah, one of the people working in the office was extra helpful and provided many favors. One bad thing about Oxford North is the quality of the apartments which was less than ideal. I had problems with my shower, my stove and my door in the beginning but I got help from the maintenance guy within hours.Overall though - I recommend living here. 4/5 Stars!
This is my second year living at this property and it will surely be my last. This place is horribly managed, maintained, and severely overpriced. Not to mention, the owners of Oxford North noticeably neglect the property. For example, parking is a constant problem. They oversell parking permits so the lot gets overflowed, leaving tenants to find parking elsewhere or risk their cars getting hit or towed inside the lot.Management does not care for your personal comfort or safety in its community. This morning I was literally awoken to three men barging into my room claiming they were going to clean it for my “new roommates”. However, neither I nor my current roommate were told we should be expecting a cleaning crew or two new foreign roommates. I am still livid. Under law, I was supposed to be given at least 24 hours notice of anyone entering my apartment BUT I WAS NEVER NOTIFIED. I never want to be woken up to a stranger entering my bedroom ever again. When I called the office all I got was a measly apology and brief explanation.Overall, you’re better off living somewhere (anywhere) else. The apartments are overpriced while the furnishings inside are comically cheap. Bug infestation (spider/ant/cockroach) is a prevalent problem in most apartments/buildings. An overflowed lot leaves you contemplating parking several streets over and walking home or squeezing into a makeshift parking spot and hoping no one hits your car...and there’s always the possibility of random people entering your room. Who cares?Oxford North doesn’t.
DO NOT MOVE HERE!!!Literally the worst apartment Ive ever lived in. First off the model they show you looks nothing like the one you actually get. Its way overpriced and they dont let you meet your roommates before moving in. Problems we have had since moving in:-Roaches-Water damage ( we had to replace several things that have gotten wet and management doesnt care)-Noisy neighbors- Staff is very rude and doesnt care about the residents at all.-The lease they make you sign basically screws you over so dont think you will get your deposit back.-NO AIR CONDITIONING IN THE SUMMER, we made multiple maintenance requests and they just delete them.-Walls are super thin.-Yes its fully furnished but the furniture is so cheaply made and you could probably find better stuff at a goodwill.-If you get home after 5pm good luck finding parking. Also they will tow your car unless you see a text they send you at 12:30 in the morning to move it. (Some peoples cars are just gone btw)-They also refuse to make appointments so expect the staff to just barge in whenever they feel like it.This place is literally a money making trap preying off of international and out of town college students. I wouldnt recommend this place to my worst enemy. DO NOT MOVE HERE.
The staff is very helpful and nice. The bathrooms in the student center could be better, but other than that the place is great!
I enjoy living at Oxford North, especially the events where you can get free food, drinks and meet new people, are awesome ! Leah is in charge of my apartment complex, I got to know her as a reliable, helpful and also funny person !Furthermore, I‘m studying at CSUF, so the location is perfect for walking to campus.
I think the office staff are just awesome make me feel right at home and there fun to talk too especially Casie, Cole and Erin and the rest of the staff always try to help out when they can when in need of there help
I have lived here the last semester and it was actually hard for me to leave as I found real friends here. Even though there were some initial challenges to our apartment, the staff tried to help us asap. What I enjoyed the most about this complex were the events that happened nearly weekly. It was always a good way to meet new people and to get free snacks :D OXN also offers many possibilities to hang around, whether its by the pool or in the recreation center that even has billiard tables. I always felt safe and comfortable, so I would recommend this place to any student. (especially to the CSUF students as the campus is right across the streets)
This place is awesome! The apartments are fully furnished and have everything you need. Also, the location right across the street from CSUF is optimal. The staff is always willing to help with anything you need (shoutout to Cole who helped me settle in and answered all my questions). Could not have had a better experience!
When I first moved in here I found out that the leasing office had emailed me the wrong information and roommates so I had to change apartments and roommates. I had already been speaking with who I thought were my roommates for weeks before then and we had planned who was going to bring what (this should have been a red flag as this now does not surprise me as it is a reflection of the poor management here.) Parking was never an issue even when I got home from classes at 10:30pm, until the beginning of this year. When I come home from my late classes, parking is completely full and garages (which are $50 a month!) are all reserved. There is no street parking as there is only one street and no neighborhoods close by to even look for parking in. Residents have begun parking in fake parking spots because there are simply NO other options. Driving around in circles waiting isnt going to help because no one is going to leave the apartment complex at 11:00pm on a weekday. I sent an email to Oxford emphasizing how big of an immediate issue this is and their suggestion was not an actual option at all. It was obvious I had to be one of the residents parking in a made up spot. The following morning, I went to move my car into a legit spot and it was gone, while another car that was parked illegally sat there for several more hours and never got towed! I had to scrape up $361 to get my car back. I could not afford this. My new roommate is being charged rent twice in one day for this month and management doesn’t seem to be fixing this issue. The laundry machines suck and you have to pay with an app, which sometimes charges you twice and sometimes the machines don’t even work. You won’t get your money back. Maintenance requests take long to be fulfilled. My roommates put in a request for new lightbulbs in their bathroom and they had to shower in the dark for two days. The website says the apartments have AC but even with it running 24/7 you will not feel it in any of the bedrooms even with your door wide open (at least in the classic/non-renovated apartments.) They lose residents paperwork. You can find dozens of complaints on here but the fact is that it is very evident that the management at Oxford North do not care about customer satisfaction and do not care about their residents. They will screw you over any chance they get or for no reason at all apparently. The resident advisors are nice and they do their jobs well at least. But it is really a shame because I wanted to like it here and I gave them the benefit of the doubt a couple times but it has gotten out of hand now. Im not going to tell you dont live here because every place has its positives and negatives, but I just wanted to tell the truth about this place.
This place is cool and has friendly staff. Dylan was really nice and helped me with a problem I had.
I’ve been a resident here for about 6 months. Just attended hot coco and crafts hosted by Leah and it was so much fun!
I have been living here for 3 years now and I really recommend this apartment to anyone who wants to live near campus. There are a lot of events made by staffs (pizza, movie ice cream) .
Oxford north was definitely worth my time and money, nice complex’s and amazing people, this place has such a cool atmosphere, they have nice socials to get to meet all the residents around you, glad I met the management team, especially Cole, and Murphy those two have such an inviting energy!
I mean wow. If there was anywhere in the OC I would live it would be Oxford North. The people that work here, especially Cole Meininger, are so friendly and the facilities are top of the line.
Although I do not live here, I have two friends who work and live here. I visit very often and like how close it is to campus and the enviroment. I would definetly recommend living here. The apartments have a lot of space and are fully furnished. If you are looking for a welcoming place that encourages you to get to know all your neighbors this is the place. I believe it makes the whole college living experience great. They have lots of events so that everyone can get to know eachother and make it feel like home. Thank you Oxford North and Leah for welcoming me.
Its super nice here, good living conditions and great service
This place is amazing, from the first day in august till today, this place has been awesome to me, people are cool, management is cool, chill, parties, social gatherings, and much more, especially Murphy and Cole, cool people cool people, overall i’m glad i found this place!
Shout out to Cole for providing good breakfast this morning
Very nice place to live near campus, love the events here. Very friendly staffs.
Leah is an amazing tour guide, she really help me and convince me how amazing this place is.
The staff here were really nice! Cole, murphy, and dylan were all very helpful
Leah is an amazing RA and hosts really creative events for the residents !!
Great place to live! Sharon and Lisa make it like home for our college son. All the way from Kansas and as at home at the U.V. as he was here in the midwest. And the meals are great! So, parents who do you trust your child to? Fullerton University Village. Period. Thanks Sharon and Lisa, without you, it wouldnt be the same! Dont change a thing!!
Erin, Casey and Liz are the best in the front office they are my favorite!
Cole and Liz are the best hands down!!! So kind and helpful!!
Staff at the leasing office are the worst by far. They are downright fraudulent or nobody knows what they are doing!! Worst experience!!
No a/c, no heat, charges for amenities they do not have, nickels and dimes you with fees. Horribly mismanaged, poor maintenance, acts in bad faith at every turn, exists soley to profit off foreign students. Violates their own lease and California housing laws.
Cole is so nice and made me feel super welcome! thanks Cole!
Most amazing place I have ever lived
Cole and Liz are awesome and Oxford North apartments are great.
Plan to use the gym this April and this wonderful swimming pool of our lovely apartment.
I love gym so much!
Leah gave me an amazing tour!
This is a nice place to live in. Its very quiet. It is near to CSUF.
It was shaky at first but I believe the new management will get things going and the facilities are getting better so it should be good going forward
Nice place! I enjoy living here!
A great place to stay, great food and awesome people! The name says it all, it is like a village. But still a little bit overpriced..
All I had was problems living here. There was a huge hole in the wall in the dining room, the fridge was broken, the oven was broken, there was no microwave like it was supposed to have, the AC was broken, the carpet was damp from flooding, there was mold under my bathroom sink, the sink itself was rusted, the ceiling tiles in my closet were moldy, the tile and the carpet in there was stained and damaged, paint was chipped off of the walls, my cabinet in my bathroom was broken, all when i moved in this was the condition the apartment was in. It took forever for our oven and fridge to get replaced. I had a roach and spider infestation a few weeks after I began living here. Then over the course of my lease, there was a ceiling leak in my bathroom and it collapsed. This didnt just happen once, but twice! Then there was peoples dinner back washing into my bathroom sink... Not my kitchen sink, MY BATHROOM SINK. It flooded under my sink each and every time causing the mold to just grow and grow. Then, I flushed my toilet one day and the lid started a waterfall of toilet water all over my bathroom and I couldnt use it for a week. I am so done with this place and i would 10/10 NOT RECOMMEND LIVING HERE.
Great atmosphere with mostly international residents and a great food choice at the restaurant.
Little pricey and the apartments are on the old side, but it is compensated by the awesome people you meet and the experiences you share with them.
Beautiful and Quiet place to live.
I arrived and the shower handle was too hard to rotate. i told them about the problem several time and no one came.theres too much noise. you cant sleep at night
Their staff unlocked my room and broke into my room without telling me. They dont care about your privacy.
An old complex and dirty. The food is awful. They recycle the food. For example they cook egg for brake fast, and the rest of the egg the they mix it with rice for the lunch and the vegetarian when it expired they make it soup, and the rent is expansive too, when u wanna rent they wrote for u free wifi, but in the real there is no wifi they say we gonna fix it!! I have live here for two yeas and they didnt fix it. When u wanna move out from There they are tring to take ur deposit.
Apartment quite durty at arrival.
Their staff unlocked my door and let themselves into my apartment while I was sleeping. This place is NOT an apartment community. It’s an overpriced motel. Live somewhere else that is not run by Campus Advantage.
Good place for students.
Horrible!Do not waste your money here.
Awesome Student Housing!
Good community
Bad apartment and they are layer
Overrated
Unorganized
