I just want to share my gratitude for Chris with leasing and Rodger (spelling?) with maintenance. Chris was so helpful throughout our leasing process and I was not easy to deal with! I gave him a million little questions and he answered them all while being so friendly and patient! Since moving in he has still been sweet as can be and always talks to us! Ive lived in other communities where you are treated like you dont exist after move in.While we were moving Rodger helped us with opening doors, lifting a few things, and keeping the garage gate open so it would be easier for us instead of using the ramp. He was SO incredibly kind considering he had his bags and was in his truck leaving (helping us off the clock). Once we moved in we had a couple squeaky doors and a little paint I scratched on our door (oops). Chris submitted our maintenance request for us and Rodger came the next day to fix everything and take a look at anything else I needed help with.Seriously awesome! Thank you guys!
I LOVE this apartment!! I have lived here almost a year and have had no issues. The management team is great and will make sure everything you need gets taken care of. Amenities are incredible! My ONLY complaint is parking. Towing is heavily enforced and there are almost never any parking spots in the garage unless you pay to reserve one.
The team here at The Domain is top notch! Ed is an amazing leasing agent. I had a great first visit to the property when I initially came to just take a tour. He was super patient and showed me several different floor plans. I actually ended up coming back twice to make a final decision on my floor plan and Ross helped me, as Ed was off for the day. Ross is such a breath of fresh air... honest and friendly, informative and thoughtful. The Assistant Manager called me the night before my move-in to touch base and make sure everything was in order. My move-in was seamless and on day three Ed checked in to make sure everything was great with the apartment. The building is incredibly clean and so quiet. I am so happy I chose The Domain at The Gate!
Absolutely, love the domain. The staff is friendly and always helpful with any needs you have. The maintenance and cleaning crew are always around working. You never see anything dirty. Don’t get me started on the dog park. Super convenient. It’s definitely the perfect place to live.❤️❤️❤️
Ive been at the Domain for 18 months now. The staff is friendly and outgoing! The amenities are amazing too. The maintenance staff is prompt and courteous. The staff promotes a positive environment and I have met several people in this community through the events held by the staff and by cooking at the grill. Everyone seems really happy here!
Hi All! I have lived at the Domain for about 2 years now and I have to say that I am really enjoy living here. It is quiet and meets my needs of apartment living. The staff and community are always pleasant and friendly. The pool is awesome and everything is all tidy and clean around the community. I am glad that I chose to live here and glad to have such a great environment.
I’ve lived at Domain for 6+ months and the experience has been great. The amenities are very nice, the complex is always clean and well kept up, and I can’t say enough good things about the entire staff including the front desk employees, maintenance crew and management. They all want to make sure that the tenants are happy, feel included in community events, and well taken care of.
My boyfriend and I just moved in and we are loving our new place! Chris and the rest of the leasing team were super helpful from the start, making our experience a pleasant one and our choice that much easier. The convenient location of the property + awesome amenities + a unit that gives us enough space and with a layout we love...we are very happy we chose Domain at the Gate as our new place to call home! 🏡
The Domain at the Gate is a pleasant place to stay, staff here are very resourceful & very nice to talk to.The amenities are by far superior compared to other Apartments nearby.The two story gym is plentiful for a good daily workout and has great free weights & machines. The pool is massive, and with several fire pits and chairs to relax and visit with friends & neighbors at the building, not to mention the golf/sport lounge where you can go work on your drive/putt if needed before a game.Also, I really enjoy the events that the staff put together they clearly put effort and dedication in the holiday/occasional parties and they defiantly get great attention.Due to COVID-19 Ive seen excellence in cleaning & sanitation, theres always staff moping & disinfecting the hallways, gym & various common areas, they clearly put health first before anything else.
I’ve been living at the Domain for a year now! One of the best staff I’ve encountered in my renter years. If you need help, ask for my girl Ross and she’s awesome! The maintenance staff is superb! Roger and his crew are the best and very helpful with getting my maintenance tickets completed! Amy, Property Manager, did a phenomenal job on hiring a great staff. Thank you DATG!
I fell in love immediately with Domain at the Gate upon meeting Ross. She was so helpful in finding the perfect unit for me. She explained all the great amenities they have to offer here. She was extremely patient with me after I changed my mind multiple times. I couldn’t be happier with my new home. There are so many residents that are friendly and have been so welcoming.
Have lived here for 3 months now and am loving it! The entire staff is so helpful, amenities are clean and have had zero issues with parking! So happy I decided to sign my lease here!
This would be 0 stars but they shave a golf simulator which is truly cool, although the bulb in the projector is often out. The apartments are new and seemingly nice, but they are small for the price you pay. Over the past year of living there the office has sent so many new rules and requirements to me it is almost unbearable. They fined me for leaving a box on my own patio, made me get rid of my old car because it didn’t look good in the garage while I was waiting to get it worked on, and they also have issued warnings about pets being on the patio. For the premium price of rent people should be allowed to do as they wish within their own space, domain at the gate infringes upon that daily. The parking garage is also a huge pain. People are always flying around blind corners and it’s often hard to find a good spot. The golf simulator is what sold me on the place, and it remains to be the lone bright spot of this property. The pool is nice, but they recently banned personal speakers so you can’t even jam out to your music, but instead they have some weak pop music playing thru their own speakers out there. Highly don’t recommend to anyone.

Everything started with the great service Claudia gave me and my daughter. Her professionalism and courtesy are like no other. We love Domain at the Gate. All amenities are great, the safety is also great. The staff has been wonderful. I remember when I was moving, I met the maintenance guy, Roger. He was very helpful and I will be forever grateful. For a maintenance emergency, not only he answered quickly, but took his time explaining how to solve the problem. I realized that this place not only has great amenities but wonderful personnel. This is a wonderful place to live at.
Lived here for over a year now, great location and great amenities the pool is one of the nicest I’ve seen at an apartment complex so far, and the building as well as the interior of the units are also great. The staff as also always been amazing though I would also like to give extra credit to the Jose and the maintenance team they have helped with every request and always been very quick to resolve the issue by far the best maintenance team I’ve encountered in apartment living.
We have been living here for almost 2 years now and love it! Great place, amenities and resident events. Especially in this new work / remote working world it is great to have a stylish gym in the property, but there is more: Twice a week there are free gym classes: Yoga (Tuesdays) and Boot Camp (Thursdays). We are having a blast and the classes really help to balance work and work out!One big family including the maintenance team, leasing office heros and neighbors!

I have lived here for a few months the Manager Rachel and Staff are AMAZING, polite and helpful. I feel like family here. This is a beautiful and clean place to live. My neighbors are very friendly. Whenever I have a maintenance problem it is addressed quickly. Best place I could ever live!!
Roger and Jose were incredible helping with a maintenance request right away. I accidently dropped a very meaningul piece of jewelry down the drain and they came within 30 minutes to help me and retrieved the piece of jewelry within 5 minutes of being here. I am super appreciate of them!!!!
I’ve lived at Domain at the Gate just over a year and just signed another lease. I love it here! The office staff is awesome. They are quick to respond to requests or issues. They host really fun resident events. I’ve lived in a few different complexes and this one, more than any other, really puts an effort into events. Even during Covid lockdown they figured out a way to have “patio (or balcony) parties“ with live DJs in the courtyards! The maintenance staff is fantastic as well. They are incredibly friendly and very quick to respond to issues. I have a little yard with my unit which is perfect for my pup! The courtyard we face is always active with kids running around or people grilling out but inside my apartment I don’t hear anything. I saw some reviews about noise complaints. It’s an apartment, of course you’re going to hear your neighbors from time to time but I have no complaints about it even living right by an active courtyard. They have a dog park which is a really nice amenity if you want to let your pup off leash. They also have a dog spa! It is wonderful to be able to be wash your dog and groom them right here! The workout room is amazing and they even offer yoga classes. The construction across the street has just started for the Shops at the Gate so that will be a fantastic addition to the neighborhood. The staff and all the extras make this place fantastic! I would recommend it to anyone!
I do not understand the comment to where all the reviews are from the staff as I am a current resident and familiar with a majority of the names on here due to the awesome networking events this place holds for its residents. I moved here at the beginning of 2020 and I cannot rave about this place enough! I absolutely adore everyone at the front office and the maint team is absolutely amazing (some of the best people you will ever meet if you get a chance to talk to them-Juan Im talking about you!) The events they host for the residents appeal to all age groups so everyone gets to join in on the fun! I think if anyone has anything negative to say it is due to poor communication on their part with the staff. They have always been more than accommodating to myself and the many other residents I have spoken with.(I am in Real Estate and love networking) Because of them and the upkeep of the entire facility those that I have spoken with have no intention of leaving unless its to purchase a home. Otherwise, we will all be staying here enjoying each other and the staff!
The facilities, location and staff are outstanding!The pool feels like a resort and other facilities are top notch. Claudia deserves stellar reviews for the thorough tour she has provided and she is so helpful all the time! I have been living here since June and so far it has been nothing but FANTASTIC!
K Claire is correct. It appears that they do invite you to apply as if you will be approved and then turn you down with no real rhyme or reason. I asked plenty of questions directly to the manager before applying, to get a gage on my chances of being approved and she assured me that the worst that could happen is that I will be asked to pay a full months deposit if things didn’t appear favorable on my part. Welp after applying I was flat out denied. Reason given is that I had a past foreclosure on a home I sold 4 years prior. I explained to management that this was not the case because my home was sold and NOT foreclosed on and I was more than willing to show proof. She made it appear as if the company they use to research tenants background information is who made the final decision and it was out of her hands so it was nothing she could do about it. When asking management about me paying the deposit as we spoke about before, that was no longer an option.A year later when presenting this information in the form of a scenario to a leasing agent that works at the Domain, that person said that they should have given me the opportunity to provide proof to them, i.e. a letter from the bank. I told them that management did not ask or try to work with my in any way! I then asked if I reapply again would I have to pay those same $300 + fees and was told said yes. By the way I was NEVER refunded any monies that I paid when I know I read clearly in the agreement that if denied, fees will be refunded. I should have been refunded and was told I couldn’t get ANY money back. But I’m now seeing in these reviews, others were refunded their money once they were denied or decided to withdraw their application and I would like a refund.I just got a bad vibe about the entire thing. No one was willing to discuss matters further and its like they tried to brush me off quickly hoping that I would go away and I let it go.. briefly bc I don’t like stirring things up, but I really believe in my heart of hearts I was treated unfairly and something about this situation will not let my mind be at peace. But now after reading these reviews, I know the feeling I felt was warranted. This place has its picks and chooses and its not based on your income or credit and I want my money refunded back to me just like it was given back to others!
Beautiful apt. Complex! So many attractions with an amazing staff. The atmosphere is so welcoming. From indoor virtual golf to spacious high ceiling living rooms, this place has it all. Highly reccomend checking this complex out!
Very Rude staff, no welcome feeling for prospective resident. questions are answered very rude by Rachel when touring, not sure if she even gave her name correct. I was OK to pay more, but dealing with rude management is not what I wanted.
Amenities and location are great as are the staff, even the neighbors met through monthly social events. The property manager, Amy, is very professional and quickly helped address any issues I have had with her assistant manager (it seems this is a common subject amongst some neighbors & reviews).After Amy cleared up a misunderstanding of mine, Im bumping my review back to 5 stars - this is the experience youll have living here if you can avoid the asst. manager 🙂
The staff and property are amazing! Amy the property manager was so helpful. When I was there looking the staff was having a lunching and she missed it just to help me find the perfect apartment with best location in the building accommodate my needs and furniture! Then was so helpful through the whole leasing contract!
It’s pain to work with office staff. They are either not paying the fee for rental history check or their process is super slow, it took them a long time to process my application(whereas, my current apartment complex was able to process my application in a day). They told me that they can’t find my rental history and they asked me to call around and get verification for them...They are not so great with communicating with you. I dropped my application and they did not process refund.Not recommending this place
Ok, so it is officially hitting our 3 month mark living here at Domain At The Gate. And so far it has been nothing but FANTASTIC! By far one of the best places we have lived in for quite some time. From day one Claudia has been exceptional from the showing all the way to giving us the keys. The place runs smooth, questions in my opinion are always answered, and any concerns have been dealt with and completed in a timely manner.
Best place weve ever lived! Management is outstanding - Maintenance is quick, efficient, Professional - Security and Parking are great!
Great property, the staff is very helpful and attentive to the residents individual needs and concerns. We just moved my nephew in here and they were great at welcoming him to the property.

I have been living in this apartment since June. I took some time to leave a review. It’s been a great place so far. Great amenities and nice management. They always try to make this place safe and better👍.
The facility is great, after lease service needs improvements; they will not respond to your emails and no one answers the phone. They need to put more dog disposable around the property also. If they want to contact you about something, their emails are rude, at least from my experience. One of the intercoms needs to be fixed and doesn’t seem like they have looked into it. I called them and they told me to contact the vendor myself.
Nitpicking management. Too hardcore, need a chill relaxed place? Go elsewhere...Not millennial friendly at all whatsoever. Also, if you have a pet, you’ll be better off telling them you don’t. Trust me

I recently toured this property and thought its location and finish out were hard to beat. I was all set to lease then found out the property wasnt smoke-free. Its a shame because I have to imagine its lost quite a few customers because of the latter.
I’ve been living in luxury apartments for the past 10 years and this place is by far the worst. Let me summarize it for you below.When we discovered this place ( moving from San Antonio ) after literally visiting almost ALL of the Luxury apartments from Addison to North Frisco (10) The Domain at the Gate was the best choice for my family in the beginning until we moved in things changed.. I can’t tell you how many “Managers” I’ve experienced living in Luxury Apartments in the last 14 years... if that’s even what you want to call them. Management literally goes in circles telling you one thing over and over again telling you they will take care of things but they don’t for months... the maintenance team couldn’t figure out what’s been wrong with the charging station in the garage and they tell you “oh we’re fixing it” over and OVER again... it’s been so frustrating.. and this has been going on for almost a year now!!!! They have a two person charging station but in the beginning you could only charge one at a time but now they both don’t work for around 4-5 months now... it cost me $1,200 at $10 a day because I’m having to take my car to a charging station nearby. There’s about 6 Tesla’s in this community and I believe we are all very frustrated and disappointed in management. If you count the others daily cost it’s about $7,200!!!( IF YOU HAVE AN ELECTRIC CAR GO TO THE APARTMENTS NEXT DOOR WHERE THEY HAVE 6 charging stations one on each floor, SEEMS like they have more of a budget / better investors )So when management says “we’re fixing it / we will fix it” things don’t get done. ALSO another big reason why we picked this place is because I have a Tesla Model 3 ( 2 of them ) and NEEDED a charging station in the complex. They now have “installed a 110v plug on the third floor which is a JOKE because it chargers the car 2/ miles per hour.... LOL So I’m SUPERR excited about that....Go to the tower, station house or buy your own place.Once our lease is up we are moving outta here...
Domain at the gate literally has everything if I want to stay home and hang with the pups or head out for date night down the street. Great amenities, great office staff, great location for business.
Seems nice but cheaply built. A real hell hole walls are paper thin.. there are lots of vacant units, but you can hear everything from your neighbors. Arrogant manager and employees...Do not live here.

Update: For someone to reply to my review stating I did not meet requirements when I withdrew my application before it was processed is so tacky and unprofessional.I immediately called to cancel my incomplete app when I noticed a discrepancy between what I was told during my tour and what I saw online.I have resolved my issue with the refund check on my own. Your staff mailed it to the address I listed as my PREVIOUS address for my rental history instead of the CURRENT address that I provided.The fact that you did not even bother to apologize for the two reasons I wrote my review which is the short and unprofessional communication from the assistant manager, Cyndi when I asked the status of my refund and because no one from Embrey called me back, speaks volumes.And its very fortunate that I withdrew my application since the recent reviews about management and the quality of the building are horrible.Original Review:I decided to withdraw my application after realizing the staff poorly explained a huge part of their process. The communication with Cyndi has been very short and unprofessional. I was told my refund check was cut on July 5th. I decided to contact the property manager, Embrey Management Services, since I havent received my refund. Their accounting department hasnt returned my call.
The property is overall beautiful. Management is attentive and hospitable making it a great place to live

This apartment is literally a scam especially assistant manager Cyndi Flores is an evildoer. They might lure you to apply for and deny the application as soon as they can based on a trivial matter without giving you an opportunity to remedy the situation. I spent more than $300 for application and admin fees. At least they have to refund admin fees as the application documents says it but they do not respond my request at all.
The apartments are extremely over priced as there is absolutely nothing Luxury about them.The apartment complex is by far the worst I have ever lived in.
