Poor post office ratings. People love to complain and not be patient. Sad world we are in
This post office shouldnt be getting such low reviews. Ive been coming here for years and they are always nothing but helpful. Sure, there are days when theres a big rush and a line, but I come very often and its usually not bad at all. The postal workers cant control when people decide to come in masses. Not to mention when some customers come unprepared and take 15 minutes. Its not their fault! I wish I knew everyones names, but Michael and Richard tend to be the workers I deal with most and the kind of patience they have is incredible! I wish more happy customers would post here because 99.9% of transactions (and were talking about hundreds daily) go off without a hitch. Thank yall for everything you do!
Fast delivery time and friendly staffs.
I have had a box at this Post Office for 29 years and Feb 1st they arbitrarily closed it. Today they both excused themselves by telling me their system is down. I’ve lost contributions due to this inefficient operation. The attitude was the most self serving I have ever experienced. Im stunned. I’ve known Michael and Richard since they started working there. Today they treated me as a stranger and a threat. I’m making a change in Postal Service ASAP.
Automated postal machine is not working. Employee at counter is not wearing a mask.
Staff was very friendly and helpful, and I was in and out within five minutes.
Terrible service. Made an appointment for passport and still waiting. No one supposedly can help but the lady in the back who is doing something else. Umm what is the point of an appointment ??? Also when I came in I saw a guy helping a woman mail her passport. This is ridiculous. I will NEVER come to this location again!!
Youve got a line going down the length of the building and one guy working the counter. EVERY TIME! Meanwhile youve got one lady walking around asking if anyone has pickups, dropoffs, or questions. Yeah, why dont you hop on the the counter and help out this line?!?
Opened a PO Box in January online. Went to get keys and they didnt have keys to they said they would have someone come in a few days later. IT BEEN OVER A MONTH A STILL NO KEYS. They keep saying the person who does it is out sick. Dont they have a backup? So Im supposed to wait for someone to come back from being sick or whatnot before a GOVERMENT facility can give me access to a PO BOX that is fully paid for??!! I am a mother who doesnt have time to be waiting in long lines to check if I received mail.
Lately, Ive been printing majority of my labels at home so I just drop off at this location. But when I have had to go inside to the counter, everyone has been wonderful.Never any issues, a big thank you to the post office workers!
When you make an appointment they should show up on time, but i have been waiting for 2 hours now just for my passport!!!!😡😡😡
Worst customer service Ive ever experienced in my life.. Including on the phone if you call and get lucky and they ACTUALLY ANSWER.. Ive been hung up on and then mostly they dont even answer the phone but my mail lady is AMAZING.. THE OFFICE 🏢 HORRIBLE ID GIVE A NEGATIVE STAR RATING IF I COULD
Unbelievably poor, slow, and low quality service. They waste an obscene amount of your time for menial tasks that should take only seconds. The line is always absurd due to the staff not only being slow, but short-handed. Change needs to be seen at this facility.
Great staff, very attentive despite it being so busy with all the USPS changes going on right now. As long as you are a patient and respectful customer, you should have a good experience.
If I could give no stars I would. I have been trying to track this package since March. The last time I called whoever answered the phone was super helpful and she answered all my questions. But today I had called about the same package bc I have not received it and this post office doesn’t let you know that your package is in their office, and whoever answered the phone this time told me I was going to be charged $35 over the phone for her to do her job and look for my package. “if I get up off this chair and look for it, it’ll cost you $35.” We’re here exact words.
No customs forms anywhere and only 1 worker ... line up very long - this is the 4th time i
Ive been using this location for the last few months during COVID and have had a very good experience. Each worker Ive spoken with has been helpful and kind. Im sure theyre overwhelmed during this time, but each time Ive gone, Ive been given great customer service.
My packages will say delivered in mailbox and nothing will be in my mailbox until 3 days later. In trying to find my packages, they say its here or its out for delivery. When I spoke to a manager she said that they drop them off on our door step, so they were likely stolen. So basically too bad for me. No other package from any other delivery service has ever been stolen. Also note that USPS has NEVER dropped anything at my door step as I live in an apartment. I was to receive another package yesterday but no access to delivery location. This is odd considering I live in the city, in a small apartment complex that does not have a gate.
I just had an appointment for my passport, they made wait 35 min just to let me know they couldn’t help me because I was late !!!!Teresa was really unprofessional screaming to another employees why she needed to do everything. ?! Well Teresa you are a government employee, we pay taxes, you work for us !!!
Worst Post Office and mail carriers, I have become friends with the family on the next block because we have to constantly switch packages that are delivered to the wrong address. Going to complain at the office they just blow you off and dont care. This is why UPS/Fedex is taking over.
Made an appointment to get a passport and the man told me “go to McDonald’s and have a coffee and some breakfast and come back” it’s been over an hour from our appointment time. There is only one guy working. They really need some help in there
Horrible mail delivery service. You can never count on anything arriving as expected and the mail people in the past 2 years have been horrible.
I have a sign on my door that says Please ring doorbell when delivering a package. Because I am home everyday all day. So why is it so hard for a mail carrier to push a button.
Terrible Passport Expert at this place. Went in this morning to get my sons PP renewed. He explained that my son will need to be there to renew it. I said OK, well come in when he gets out of school. Also asked him to look over the documents I have to ensure everything is filled out correctly because we are really under the gun and I didnt need any surprises. My son and I show up at 3:15 when he got out of school and pp guy asked if I had an appointment. I said I thought I did since I was here earlier and told you Id be back at 3pm??? He tells me galveston county annex takes walk ins.... thanks dude, they stop taking walk ins at 3pm and it was already 3:30. I have a job and needed to take care of this TODAY! If he had informed me when I said Ill see you when my son gets out of school that he cant do it today, I would have taken my son out of school and gone to the walk in location. This is the worst customer service Ive experienced in years!!!!!
This place is horrible. CONSTANTLY a line and theres always only 1 employee for help....who works at a snail rate. Several times Ive gone and it takes nearly 30 minutes for basic things.
We have had a post office box at this location since the summer of 2012. We frequently have large packages, which requires a good deal of interaction with the employees. We have ALWAYS been greeted with a smile and treated with the utmost respect and courtesy, and in a very timely manner.I really appreciate how they are so professional with each person they service, even when someone comes in to complain, they handle the issue, then move on with a fresh approach with the next client.Thank you so much for your excellence in service!
We appreciate you working despite the shutdown, but please please don’t come in provide subpar basic customer service.Called and spoke to a very helpful woman. Came in- totally different experience. I can see why this place has an avg 2 star review. They sure are earning it in there.
One star is too much. I wish rating has a zero and that will be my choice. I moved from Friendswood to Seabrook but I kept my property waiting on it to be sold. With the move I lost my key to my mail box. I was not able to get a replacement because my driver license shows the new address. I showed them proof with my taxes bill that I still own the Friendswood property but that was not enough for them. I never got the key. Fortunately I found the key several days later and was able to take care of my bills. I never had experience of any unprofessional service from the person at the window or his lady supervisor. Thank God I do not need to deal with these people ever again.
Lost packages. Mail that never gets delivered. Mail that gets delivered to the wrong address. The most discouraging part is that customer service is non existent. I personally went to the post office to notify them of the issue and their attitude basically was its not my problem call the 1-800 number. No resolution or offer to help at all. The postmaster at this location will not talk to anyone or show her face. They will tell you that she has stepped outside. What does that mean?? This is unacceptable and our community deserves much better.
I’ve never had a bad experience with the employees at this location. I was there today and everyone was courteous and helpful.
I gave up on having mail delivered to the mailbox at my house because of lost mail and decided to start paying to have a PO Box. I was thinking it would make it easier for mail to be successfully delivered to me. Wrong. Id say about half of the mail that I should be receiving never makes it to my box. Sometimes I can stand in line to ask the uncaring employees working behind the desk if they have any of my mail and every now and then theyll have something that didnt make it to my box. I ask why there is such un issue with people doing their job there and they show no concern. This place is a joke and I cant believe how worthless the employees are.
Had a passport appointment waited for over 2 hours to find out that nobody was there to process my application
When we moved to Friendswood 2 years ago the Postal office service was terrible. Always felt it was a bother to them to have to provide service and the agents were unfriendly and unprofessional. Over the last year there has been a tremendous change in their service. . The speed and courteous manner in which they move customers through the line has improved 1000%. All of the agents are more professional and complete their tasks expeditiously and in a friendly manner.
In the past, we liked our mail lady. Have not seen her of late.Weve always had some issues with items delivered to the wrong box, due to it being little locked community boxes--when it was not our normal carrier-- but my huge complaint is that they now deliver for UPS. This ends up getting stuffed into our US Mail community box, instead of delivering to our home (which is what I thought I was paying for when it was shipped via UPS).
In my experience over 10 years, employees have always been kind and helpful. If there is a line during peak seasons like Christmas, they do their best to get you in and out as quickly as possible.
Im not sure if its this office or Websters that delivers to me in Wedgewood village, but my mailman is beyond amazing. Very kind and seems to genuinely care about his job. Hes always ringing my doorbell when theres a package for me and even alert me to Fed ex just dumping mine in water. I hope he sees this. Thank you!
I see a lot of reviews on the carriers not delivering their packages but if anyone knows how An organization works the load trickles down. Management forces these carriers to deliver larger amounts of mail than their allotted time. They expect these carriers to deliver an 8 hour route in 6 hours then carry a portion of other routes and when the supervisors boss calls them and yells at them for having carriers out so late, they call all the mail men back in and force them to falsify scans and say they were delivered and then make them do it all over again the next day. It’s MANAGEMENT. I’ve had the pleasure of meeting KIM only once and that woman needs a lesson in how to communicate. I would not be able to work for that woman and I feel horrible for the carriers who get talked to in the way she spoke to me as a customer. I’ve never seen someone with such a bad attitude.....I want to go on but I doubt google needs need to curse so I’ll end it here.
Very slow to deliver, packages will sit for weeks before delivery.
For the most part they are good..... I think everyone will have some sort of bad experience rather it was with them or elsewhere. I had very bad experience one time and the driver was adamit about dropping the package off to my house when I knew he hadnt.... Long story short if it were not for my surveillance cameras around my home we would have continued to be going threw turmoil.... My camera completely showed him going next door and not to our door. Turned out it was delivered to my next door neighbor and was there for 4 days straight. I love makeup and the fact that its expensive top brand I was flipping out. I finally gotten it and dropped the whole making a complaint against the driver. I dont think he will allow this to happen again so Ill let him make it..... I would suggest setting up any alerts so that you are aware when your package has arrived. If that helps
I have lived here for 46 years and this post office needs a major overhaul! They loose packages, put my mail in other peoples mailbox, I receive other peoples mail have called numerous times. Absolutely lost my birthday package, and yesterday to top it off my Amazon prime 2 day order that made it to Friendswood was sent to Magnolia.????? What is going on? I think everyone that works there needs to be drug tested!
This place is awful!!!! Our mail carrier (on Myrtlewood dr) has outright lied...and admitted to that. Saying there was animal interference when he admitted there wasn’t.He waited YEARS to tell us our dog was a problem...he never said a word and then suddenly quit delivering packages. I had to track him down to get information! However, he quit delivering packages after we started keeping our dog on a run outside (or indoors). So, his timing to stop delivering made no sense to me.Our carrier also admitted that our neighbors put up a camera to make sure he is doing his job...and laughed/smirked about it!The boss lady that works in the office (not sure of name/position) with the big buggy eyes (perhaps she has a thyroid issues?) is rude, unpleasant, and not helpful. There are a few nice men that work in the office itself...how they have managed to keep a friendly demeanor in that atmosphere is beyond me. Wish I knew their names...they deserve some credit.Overall, this place is run by people that abuse what little power they have in an attempt to feel big. So very pathetic!!!
Making an appointment to get a passport is an awesome idea if the Friendswood Post Office would keep their end of the bargain. We showed up for our 1:30pm appointment and was told the trained passport clerk was at lunch. We were told we could wait 40 minutes for him to return, or we could reschedule. My child had to miss school and we had to miss work since she is a minor and needs both parents present when we apply for her passport. Friendswood Postal officials were rude like it was our fault we showed up at our scheduled appointment time. I requested a call back and am pleased to say that I was called back. However, there was no understanding that our family was inconvenienced. Her excuse was that another trained passport clerk was out so there was only one clerk available and he had to go to lunch. I asked why I could not have been contacted earlier in the day and ASKED if I could reschedule? Why was I not told ahead of time that there would be no one to assist us with the passport? I was told that I can always reschedule just before she hung up on me.
Ive had several packages with tracking marked as delivered when not actually delivered, then show up late a day later. Horrible customer service over the phone.
They do not know what a change of address is. I have moved twice in this area and they show gross incompetence in working their end of business when a change of address happens every time.
Lost my mail with my rent check. Dont trust the post office. They said they cant do anything. How about reimbursing my rent!!
The following occurred at least 6 times so far. Lost packages. Mail that never gets delivered. Mail that gets delivered to the wrong address.I even wrote on my mail box to remind them my correct address (as there is a same street number on another street nearby) and told them they have delivered to wrong address multiple times. But wrong deliveries keep occur.I have an eBay returned camera lens that has been delivered per USPS online tracking, but never arrived. Had to file police report, per eBay instruction.
Our mail man refuses to deliver our mails because our car is parked ‘in front of the mailbox’. Well, it’s not true and no one in their right mind would do that. We park our car one and a half car away from the mailbox. He’s just too lazy to turn the wheel to drive out after delivering our mails, maybe? He has plenty of room to drive and drop off the mails just fine. Then he leaves us a note, after keeping our mails for 7 days straight, to bark at us about our parking. That’s horrible service. He also scribble his handwriting aggressively when he leaves us a note, like he’s super mad at us. Maybe because we’re Asians? I don’t know what else to think at this point. It’s upsetting.I would rate their service a 0, but there’s not an option.By the way, doesn’t management read these reviews?
Unbelievably poor service. 1st time I have felt a bad review is needed. It has taken longer to get a pkg the 2 miles from them to my house then it took UPS to get it from Iowa to Friendswood. When I inquired about picking up the pkg myself, I was told it would cost me $25 for this service, unreal. They are a prime example of a failed US Government enterprise and their attitude towards customers is poor at best.
I love our little Friendswood Post Office, always the same workers, and I love our mail lady Cindy, she goes above and beyond her duties and is the sweetest lady you could ever meet. Please remember to hit the like button if my review helped you in anyway.
I have a note posted inside my mailbox door asking that they do not put flyers from grocery and business establishments of all kinds. They either choose not to read it ignore it. Even though it was verified on KHOU last evening that it is not legal to do so. I receive my Medication through they mail and with all the junk mail in my box there is not room for addressed mail. I f I dont get some response and answers I am going call Tiffany at KHOU and see what she can do. Im fed up. That sign has been posted inside my mailbox for over a year.
Another lost package! Unfortunately you cant always choose who delivers your mail/packages. Again ours was lost in transit.... tracking shows it went out for delivery on Sept 20, but never arrived. System still shows in transit. The manager of this facility on multiple occasions has told many customers, Do you know how many packages we handle everyday? Wish they would not focus on the quantity they deal with, but why they are loosing just one of them. It is your job to deal with that many, however your failing on the amount you loose everyday!!! The retailers are the ones who are losing out on this post office incompetency.I should note: most all the employees with the exception of the postmaster/manager are very nice and helpful. Just tough when you rely on the system (which isnt working) to deliver your mail.
Ive been a resident of this city for over 20 yrs. now. This post office has not change in its rude behavior towards its clients. I can only say 1-2 people are courteous towards their customers. They pick & choose who theyare nice to!
This post office needs new employees that work inside at the counter or they need more. This has been the SLOWEST post office I go to in the area and every single time I am waiting in line for at least 30 minutes or more. Today was the last straw before I wrote a review. Standing in line for AN HOUR on a Saturday is not the way I want to spent my weekend. Please get help here or teach your employees efficiency. Also hearing a lady cry because she was told over the phone by an employee here that her package was here, she drove an hour and a half to get the package and surprise... its not here.
They always lost my package. after inquiring still not mail. mail missing. the Mail man on Dec 24th at 6 pm. had a accident. It was determined that was mail mens fault. Late delivery missing mails all the time
The people inside the post office are sweet and move the line along fast HOWEVER the mailmans who deliver for this post office are awful. They didnt attempt to drop off my package at all. It was pouring out and they most likely didnt want to get out in the rain to put it by my door. Not only did they not deliver it but they never left me a pickup slip either. So now my package is at the post office and i have no other option besides redeliver. WHICH ISNT ON THEIR WEBSITE. You have to call their customer service number and lord the wait is 30-50m. Very disappointed.
I have lived in Friendswood for 15 years and had a PO Box there for my business for 3 years, but if I could give them a 0 I would! The delivery service is so bad that I pay for post office boxes in Houston so my mail will not go through them! They have lost my Priority Mail; returned utility bills that were properly addressed, and not delivered some mail reflected on my Informed Delivery. The carrier didnt even know about informed delivery and told me you dont know whats coming! So, I pulled it up on my phone. I got that mail (my Christmas Zoo Light tickets) last month! I have only been able to file a claim once, but that Priority package was a week late and so wet that all the books inside were destroyed! Last week, I had a box that was AT the Friendswood post office and scheduled for delivery that day (according to USPS tracking). However, the Friendswood post office sent it to Kingwood, TX! Why would the postal worker send my box addressed to 77546 to the post office in 77346? Then they are Rude and offer no help when they mess up! I wish the Postal Service would do us a favor and CLOSE THEM DOWN!
I came here to submit my passport information. I was in and out within 15 minutes. Richard was a great help and had excellent customer service.
If I could give 0 stars I would. This post office is incredibly inept and dishonest.
Worst customer service. I have been calling and dealing with the postmaster (who is never there) for over a month now. I have had numerous suspicious deliveries from overseas that I am afraid to touch. Weeks ago they were supposed to do an investigation. No one EVER gets back to me. And the deliveries in my mail box keep coming. They were supposed to remove them this week. Again, called and talked to postmaster. Guess what? Never retrieved from my mailbox. This is ridiculous. I wonder if they even know what they are doing there.
As I pull into parking lot I notice a van unloading packages into cart to push in. Employee is just throwing packages into cart. They are falling onto concrete cause he is missing the cart and ect. If anyone has broken packages in this area might want to look into this. Notified supervisors and she said she knows him and will talk to them. Also long line to door one person working. Slow process.
Usually, we take the time to write negative experiences and I thought I had to write as I had a very good experience at this location today. I made an online appt for 11 am to renew my passport with a name change. I had all my documents in hand and filled out the application before hand. I probably had to be in line for 10 mins or so, however, I was in an out in 15 minutes. A gentleman named Richard helped me with the process and he was very helpful. Nonetheless, the line was getting longer and I feel they could use more help behind the counter.
Lady who answers the phones is a monster. Super rude. Couldnt care less about your package. Called regarding a package that their website and number show arrived to this usps a week ago, and she told me im gonna have to figure out a way to find it myself. Thats why i flipping called the post office!!!
Got there and only one of their debit card machines was working which was fine but the lady who took charge told everyone to stand in separate lines which if you have seen that place is impossible so everyone was confused. The lady I spoke to, I told that I have a package that was returned to the PO because I was not home but I was only 90% positive it was from USPS as vs. UPS. She DEMANDED I drive home and check and I cannot drive because Im disabled so I barely made it back there on the last day before the item would be returned. I asked her 4 times to just type my name in the computer and she said no. Unbelievable. I should have made a demand myself, to see a manager, but did not. My mistake. The same day my boyfriend called from Indiana and asked them if he could rent a PO box and forwarding address without actually being there (which I ironically was not aware that he did until we shared stories) and the lady was very rude to him and said no we dont do that bye! He stopped her from hanging up and tried to ask more questions but she told him they were busy and cant help him. We promptly took our business somewhere else where they were happy to assist us. Avoid like the plague.
Went to get my passport for my child made me wait for one hour to tell me I had the wrong information, mind you, I called them before going to get the right info and they gave me the wrong information. Lady at the passport reception was very rude and didnt care about my complaint or that her office is giving wrong information. If u need to get passport renewal for your children. Do yourself a favor and avoid going to this place is a waste of time and services is really bad.... they get paid good, apparently they need a new supervision to show them what good service is... I mean you deal with the public and we pay their salary right?
The worst post office I have ever seen. I called today to file a complaint against an angry, aggresive carrier and the hold time is 45-1 hour! Are you freaking kidding me. It all goes on what must be the poorest management on the planet, from slow mail, missing mail, angry carriers, and the longest hold times on the planet I think the entire management staff of the Friendswood post office should be replaced. The IRS answers the flipping calls faster. SAD. Online Christmas cards this year to avoid giving them a single red cent of mine. They should be shut down.
Worst post office there is, looking at how bad the Postal Service is doing financially, it’s easy to see why by just visiting this location. The employees have personalities of bricks. The lady that delivers my mail is a real peach to. The self service machine in the lobby, never works as well. You can never tell who works there as hardly anyone is ever in uniform. Just a terrible post office.
I cant even give this post office a one star rating but I have to leave something! I work for a business off of Edgewood Dr and the woman that has this route has the worst attitude I have ever dealt with. She never speaks, never smiles, never makes eye contact and when she does look at you its just total RBF! I have said hello, good morning, have a nice day, smile sometime, are you having a bad day and get nothing in return. If you dont like your job get out of the customer service business!!
Very disappointed in the level of professionalism and customer service. Mail is constantly delivered late (over a month late!) or delivered to incorrect address. Employees (with the exception of Michael and Troy) are rude and unhelpful. #privatizethepostoffice
I like the Friendswood Post Office and I think Richard is THE BEST! Everyone is always so kind and helpful! Thank You Friendswood Post Master!
There is NO customer service to speak of. I have had several packages lost through the USPS, and it doesnt seem to matter at all to them. Whenever they cant answer a question (which is always) you have to call the 1800 number. I was on hold for over an hour today, just to find out that they could not help me, despite what the employee at the post office said. I can only assume she told me whatever she could think of to get me to leave. It is very frustrating that even when they lose a package (with TRACKING on it) it is still not their responsibility to locate said package.
We use EDDM often at other post offices and have no problems. When I brought the cards to drop off and give them my paper work. The rudest man said for me to sort all the route #s and put in separate bins. If you have been to this place it is small and I had bins laying everywhere and people were having to step over them. I told this guy i never had to do this at any other post office he said well you do here. I said this is what I pay over $800 for the post office to to.The lady post worker working beside him was laughing at my frustration. Very unprofessional. I never returned to do business there again.
Horrible service. 2 nd time they loose my hold mail.Lady at front desk clearly let me know she didn’t care nor concerned at all.
Always friendly in person. I drive from Webster due to Webster being rude and totally unreliable in scanning packages. One of the better postal offices Ive used.
There inside service is par at best. There delivery service is zero. I have had packages go missing, delivered to the wrong address, I have received other peoples mail....etc, etc, etc. Usually, they get the house number 402 mixed up with 420. I run a small Ebay business and this happens about at least once a month. Today, I have lost a package with a tracking number. 4 - 5 times a year they get the house number right, but the street name wrong. I have complained, and I have stood in the Post Office and dressed them down in front of customers and once got a round of applause from the people who were waiting. But its a way for me to meet the neighbors when I have to deliver mail to the proper address, I just wish I could get paid like they do.
AGAIN!!!!!! They lost a package (with a tracking number) again! What can be done about the terrible, terrible service given by this Post office. Cant use the excuse that Its because of Harvey.......bla bla bla This has been going on for years.........FIX THIS NOW! Fire everyone and start over.......from the top down. FIX IT!!!!! NOW!!!!!! No excuses......and none will be accepted........dont even attempt to try.Anyone who wishes can contact me on this subject.
I always have an issues with bulk mailing. Our. Nonprofit uses this location for our newsletter mail out and it is a problem each month. Either the staff are short and somewhat rude or its closed when the hours state open. I always come at least an hour before they close, today the staff member was off and no one else can complete this task. Very frustrating, very upsetting. I dont want to have to drive even further to a different USPS
Worthless, i blows my mind why the government even bothers spending tax dollars on such a unorganized and unefficient service. takes 7 days to get a package plus 1 day sitting at the post office because it got there after 6am. even though i live 100 yards away.OH AND HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE!TYPICAL GOVERNMENT JOB...
The worst possible post office. The employees are very rude, especially the supervisor Kim who wouldnt even give me her last name. She is aggressive and apparently thinks she can do this cause she is a federal employee. It really is a shame. If I never have to deal with her, it would be too soon. I hope the post master talks to her and tell her she is not God.
They messed up my delivery. Twice. So when i called to check the status, they seemed completely clueless, I called yesterday and one lady picked up asked me a few questions, then put me on hold for about 10minutes. Then another completely different lady picked up and restarted the process, asking me questioms, then told me to call back tomorrow before 9:30am. I called and they still hadnt figured out about my package, i was put on hold again for 15minutes, and another lady picked up, and i had to give her my mailing information AGAIN. She ended up tellin me that she would call back later, but I mean... My package shouldve been delivered 6 days ago....
I called the post office to check on the status of a package and the woman I spoke to on the phone was very rude. I was tracking my package online and it was supposed to be delivered to a Spring, TX location and had gone to N Houston a few days ago and then was sent to Friendswood for some reason. It also said it had been returned to sender at one point but then was sitting at the Friendswood Post Office. I explained this to the woman I spoke to and she said they returned it to sender. As I was trying to explain to her that the sender never received anything and my tracking information online says differently, she hung up. Glad this isnt my post office.
Awful service. Pick up window doesnt follow the hours, they decide when they will open for you or not. Extremely rude. Will be going to webster from now on
Location is good for me 6 minutes from home but thats all that is good about this location. The service is poor, not very friendly people except for a man with a beard (cant remember his name) he is a bit more friendly. I had to get my passport so could not make and appointment in person. The rep said I need to go online, so I asked what forms would I need to get my daughters passport renewed. He said you need to make and appointment for her and need to fill out that form over there. I said ok. so I go home filled out the form, do the online appointment request. So my appointment is for Thursday at 11:15am when I get to the post office the lady tells me where is your DS11 form? I gave her the form the man had told me I needed. She said oh! this is not the DS11 form you need. You need to get the correct form filled out and bring it in. I asked her well can you give me the form so I can fill it out real quick, and be done with it? she said: no, we are out of those forms you need to go online and download it, and make another another appointment. I explained to her I had taken my daughter out of school for this purpose, and that I had asked not once but twice about the forms needed and the other rep told me that I just needed this forms; all she said was well, just make another appointment after you download the form. So I had to not only make another appointment but get my daughter out of school one more time because of their negligence. The representatives at this location are not very friendly, they need to learn how to smile and put a lil sunshine on their customers. They forget we help their business stay in business.I
Mail carrier in our area was constantly speeding (had to make a formal complaint about this for it to finally end.)Called to ask why a package wasnt being delivered and was placed on hold for over 10 minutes because the lady said that she was busy and when I called back she did the same thing but for a longer period of time, grade A service right here! Not.
UPDATE: MY PACKAGE WAS LOCATED AND DELIVERED TO MY HOUSE. Melvin called me yesterday, before I got a chance to all him, at 2:30 (yes, before 3 as Wayne claimed) and left a message saying my package was with one of their carriers and would be delivered that day. I am happy my package was delivered. Still give them less than 1 star. And fyi, I had someone elses mail in our box when I got home lolI would give zero stars if I could. They have some of the most miserable, unhappy, and rude people working at this location. Rude is actually an understatement. Firstly, they are CONSTANTLY delivering packages that are not ours to our address. The address and names on these packages are no where even remotely close in street number or name to ours. It is quite simply due to obvious laziness. This happens at least twice a month. AT LEAST. When you walk to the front door, everyones street address is on their house or on the curb. So how this SO FREQUENTLY happens is BEYOND ME! Next, I have had the misfortune of having to call this office before in regards to a package of mine that I was notified was delivered, but we never received the package. The first time was at Christmas and I have never had to deal with such hostility, unhelpfulness, and severe piss poor attitudes ever. Not kidding. I thought I was on a hidden camera show or some prank show because the woman was that out of line, I figured this could not be real life. She was unwilling to help at all. No lie. I ended up calling USPS to complain, did an online complaint, and had their manager Melvin talk to me and although nothing was resolved on their end, he was friendly and did make somewhat of an effort to correct his employees attitude. I am dealing with the SAME issue now. Was expecting a package, got notification that it was delivered to an agent meaning they delivered it to an actual person, but NO PACKAGE WAS DELIVERED TO MY RESIDENCE! I dont know who they delivered it to, but it was not to anyone at my residence! I have had to file a lost package claim. I called the Friendswood post office and as usual, nothing but rudeness. I asked Wayne, the employee who answered the phone, if I could speak with Melvin, the supervisor, and he told me he was not there. I asked if he knew when he would be in to which he replied, a few hours. I said, do you happen to know the specific time he will be in, he again said dryly, in a few hours so I finally said, ok thats great, so I guess I shall just call in 2 hours and again in 3 hours if he isnt there?? He finally said 3. He will be in at 3 I am livid! Having dealt with this office before, I know NOTHING will get resolved bc they just do not care about their service or themselves obviously if they are ok with having this type of character. But this time, my package didnt come from amazon so I will have to shell out more money again for their repeated and constant unprofessional-ism. I will be calling USPS to file a heavy grievance on this office. I am sick of this.
Very difficult people to work with. I played the he said she said game for 10 minutes with 2 different people and still have no resolution and no package.
My mail man canceled my mail permanently bc there is a car parked in front of my box every once in a while. He did this after my house burned down. My house was not livable and I did my best to get the contractors not to park there and for the most part was successful. However I was not living there and my neighbors guests would sometimes park there without my knowing. Not only did they cancel my mail but will not deliver my packages either. They lied and posted on line and said that they attempted and left and note but no one came to my door and no note was left. I found out from them that they never attempted to deliver my package and the online statement was an error. I understand not delivering my mail that day... but forever??? He could clearly see the circumstances. I was told by someone at the post office that he was only trying to do his job...its my understanding that his job is to deliver my mail. RAIN, HAIL, SLEET, SNOW, cars parked in the driveway: the mail supposed to get delivered. What he is doing is just the opposite of his job description This guy must be kin to the devil or some kind of terrorist to add to me and my daughter being put out on the streets with nothing but the clothes on our back and no shoes to cause more grief to someone even if was his worst enemy. He is a self centered, lethargic, demented narcissistic looser with control issues and no compassion. The phone at this location is usually either busy or no one answers. The only reason i gave the one star is because of Shanda who was not overly nice, however she was sympathetic to my situation and professional. The post office in Webster where Ive had my po box for 10 years has been above and beyond nice, professional, and pleasant to do business with. I highly recommend over the Friendswood location.
The staff is always helpful and knows what they are talking about.
The staff has worked there for so long, i feel like they are part of the family!
I cant order online anymore because my packages never make it to my home. I call and no one answers. Whoever sorts the mail here needs to go back to school and graduate this time.
The female supervisor of this facility needs to be fired. She’s on video behaving unprofessionally towards a photographer on a public sidewalk taking pictures of the facility. She’s totally ignorant of the law and civil rights. Pictures can be taken even inside the office.
Had a friend ship me a $1500 amp, they said it was delivered at noon. Cameras outside my house showed them on my street at 4:25pm and not getting out and delivering anything. So now nobody knows where my Amp is and Im out 1500 bucks..
Why In the world does the person that delivers our mail run over our garbage bag and spread all up and down the street. This one is head of the mail carriers.
You guys must not be able to read, keep on delivering my packages to wrong address. Twice this month already
I WISH I COULD GIVE ZERO STARS!! Just went up there to mail some packages and the man working the counter and the lady working next to him made me feel dumb and basically humiliated me because I had things in the wrong packaging!!! The only thing wrong was it was in express mail and i had shipping labels for priority mail. They wouldnt even let me pay the extra for express.
Tracy on the phone was extremely rude. Was no help at all. Told me my package was in Chicago and on it way to destination. We that was 45 days ago that it arrived in Chicago. She just pushed my off to 1800ASKUSPS, now Im on a 55 min hold.
Horrible service. Lines are out of the post office and got nothing but rudeness from RICHARD. My mom came last friday to pick up a package that said Available for pickup. My mom waited ridiculously long and he told her very stubbornly that the courier has it and it would be delivered. Two days later (Sunday its closed), I called and asked the post master and she told me they have it. So I go to the post office myself this time and RICHARD was standing there. I go with my tracking number and politely told him I came to pick up a package. He looks at me and says What do you want me to do?. I looked and told him I need my package. He demands for my ID. As I am taking it out, he stares me down horrendously. He goes to the back and looks for the package and did not find it. He comes out and tells me there is no package and that he told my mom already that there was no package two days ago. At that moment I was really mad and told him the postmaster told me that morning there was a package. Of course he came back with the package, and grudgingly gave it to me. HORRIBLE HORRIBLE RUDE CUSTOMER CLERK.
Terrible service, I have called and they gave lame excuses. Im mussing my package, and very appointed.
Were is my mail its been a week
The office workers are RUDE! Unreal how they treat customers.
