Dress shopping can be a very daunting experience, much more so when you are shopping for a dress that is going to have all eyes on you! Sydney was so helpful and made me feel so comfortable throughout the whole process. I really appreciated her guidance, and she has made me feel more confident to look and feel beautiful on my big day. Thank you Sydney!!!

I ordered my wedding dress back in June, and it arrived a couple weeks ago. The girl who ordered my dress ordered 2 sizes too big, so I had to exchange the dress for a different size, and as I am stressing about whether or not my new dress will arrive in time for alterations before the actual wedding date, the lady tells me that I owe almost $300. The girl who sold me the dress apparently gave me a discount that was not approved and almost screwed me over. The new manager, Norma, was able to help me out with this and fixed it all for me. She helped ease my stress and was able to calm me down. She was very sweet about the whole thing!

Sid was so patient and kind to our group. She really knew her merchandise and even our sizes. She didn’t even have to ask us, she just brought them to us. I work in retail and was very impressed with that. She is great representation of amazing customer service.

Great selection of both wedding dresses and bridesmaid/party dresses. Everyone was very friendly and helpful. Be careful though. I tried on 2 sizes, one too small, one too big. They didnt have the actual size I would have worn so I spent $150 on the dress and then another $185 for alterations. They need to keep every size of every dress in stock for trying on. I basically bought the dress twice because the alterations cost so much.

Before I came here, I went to impression bridal, and disliked it. Only the stylist could look for you, I didn’t feel comfortable enough with my stylist to tell her my budget, and since I didn’t get anything, she basically made me feel like I was wasting their time. BUT David’s Bridal, the receptionist was so kind. My stylist Sarah was super super nice, very patient and asked me what I was looking for, was comfortable enough to tell her my budget and she showed me some beautiful gowns, that we BOTH got to look for together! I’m the bride looking for flower girls dresses. My first visit. The lady who helped us was very rude and unhelpful. But I needed two flower girl dresses ASAP. So I purchased them. Had I had time, I would have gone somewhere else. I went again for flower girl alterations and one of the buttons on the flower girl dresses came off. I gave it to alterations and then they lost it. They spent time looking for it and finally found it. Then the last time I went, the alterations kept messing up the lace that goes around the dress. She stitched then removed. Stitched then removed again. The lace wasn’t sitting well on dress. I finally said I had enough and left. Poor job done. NEVER GOING BACK.

So i came in for a bridesmaids dress try on a few months back and the size the consultant suggested fits like a glove. I dont remember her name though the dress came in so quickly too. I decided to come back after getting engaged to see what they had to offer for wedding dresses, and I found an unbelievable dress with Alexis help. It was her suggestion too. She made things really fun and easy.

They helped me out so much. The dress I ordered online from another company was way way to big. My sons wedding is in 4 weeks. The store not only helped me get a dress, but I was able to do my alterations the same day. And the best part, it will be ready before we leave. I needed a dress for an event so close that I knew Id have to buy off the rack. I was able to get an appt the same day and the associate, Leslie, was very patient as I tried on almost every dress in my size range. She also helped me get shoes from another location, since I wouldnt have time to order those, either. Great service!

Today I went back, and tried on about 12 dresses it feels like. I found the one. This experience was what I was looking for, the 2nd time around. From the manager personally being apart of it, to the stylist that took her time and listened to me, paid attention to my reactions! Of course I have no posted the actual dress I chose, I did try on these as well. I’m very pleased and happy the manger called me to personally apologize for my initial visit, I’m not sure I would have found the dress I chose any where else.

Sydney was amazing! I came in a 2nd time to purchase my dress and Syd was attentive, positive, and extremely helpful. I wasn’t feeling well due to a chronic disease I am battling & she was aware of this and would help sit me down to rest, brought me water, as well as for my guest. This meant a lot for me because she was not only helping this bride to be with her dress but she was serving me in a deeper way due to this illness. Sydney selected the shoes and I loved them—she also helped put my shoes on. All the details for the bride were important and well respected by her. I love your energy and you deserve a great review. Purchased my dress for our sons wedding. It was such an easy process. The dress arrived as promised. The alterations appointment was quick! Everyone was kind and caring. Overall a wonderful experience!!

If i had the choice to give zero stars I would. I was so excited to try on dresses to get an idea of what my dream wedding dress would be. My mother & I arrived around 11:45 since my appointment was at 12. Once we walked in, it was pretty busy & the lady in the front helped us out & said that I’ll be helped as soon as the stylists finish their morning appointments. We understood & walked around the store looking at dresses, clothes, etc. By the time it was 12:15, we sat down & noticed the store was becoming empty with few people. I took note that there was plenty of stylists standing around & talking & neither of them asked if we had been helped. I told my mother that if we don’t get assistance we would leave at 12:30. At 12:25 a group of women came in & were assisted with a stylist & led to the dressing rooms. We were very frustrated, told the lady to cancel our appointment, & left. As a bride to be, all of the excitement went down the drain. A week prior to this, I was in a car accident on my birthday & really believed that trying dresses on would make me forget about all that happened & looked forward to something great but I guess I was wrong. I don’t recommend this location to any future brides to be.

Im will be transparent when I say being in a building where women are trying on clothes is stressful. I wish they had a waiting area for men so everyone could be comfortable.Norma was very informative and helpful during the process. She explained everything and was so knowledgeable. She made my day go smoothly. Im a Dad who was bringing my daughter in for a fitting for my wedding and Norma was wonderful. She made me understand and helped my daughter choose a dress she really liked.

This was the first shop that I looked at for a wedding dress and was very nervous. Sarah was extremely helpful and made the appointment relaxing! I would definitely recommend her to help you out on your search for a wedding dress!

Do not trust them! They will never have your dress size or color. They will make you place and order and only allow you to cancel/return your order 7 days from the order date not the date you receive your item. Once your order is place, if they cancel the order for whatever reason, they will not notify you, they will not give you a refund until months later when you randomly call them asking for an update on your order. At this point its late, your event its around the corner and you are screwed looking for a dress at the last minute. I would be embarrassed to work for a place that handles business the way David’s Bridal does.-Order my dress on 4/20/21-Eta was 7/26/21-Called 5 different times during the months of June, July, August.-Found out order was canceled: 8/16/21None of the reps bothered to tell me the order was canceled on previous calls.- found another dress at the same store but they cant expedite the dress for my December event even tho the mistake was done by them.

I had previously bought my wedding dress and veil at this location. I made an appointment to have my mother try on dresses and still have the confirmation number. A sales associate, will not disclose name, came and said I needed to make an appointment since there were going to be a bride and her party of eight at six oclock. I advised her I made an appointment at five oclock and have the screen shot of the conformation number. She goes to the front and says your not in here and I said yes, I am. She looks, and replies with, well no one checked you in. I said, of course, obviously no one was here to great us. The associate measured my mother and said, she is a 16 in juniors and gave my mother junior dresses to try on. I did junior dresses and mother of the bride dresses and gave them to her. As I was walking from the racks to the dressing room where my mother was, the associate yells and says, obviously nothing in this store fits or looks good on you and you need to leave. You need to go to Ross, Nordstrom or Marshalls. I had two mother of the bride dresses in my hand and put those two back. The associate came over to the mother of the bride rack where I was standing and said what about this pink one, which I replied, yes and took it to my mother. My mother was at the end of the rack, a few feet from me and wanted to try on the dress, but the associate said, if you are not buying anything you need to leave the store now. Keep in mind, I know the law and what a business can and cant do. I regret getting my dress and giving Davids Bridal my money and time. This is unacceptable and horrible customer service. I have advised people I do know that are engaged to NOT shop or have anything to do with this store. I will for sure take my business elsewhere and not waist my time at a store that is going to treat customers badly. There is no excuse for this deviance behavior!!!

Mini...Norma & Max were so helpful...I had no clue what I needed & they were Awesome in assisting me. They were so very kind & understanding. It made my shopping experience Awesome! I personally would give each of them a 10 if I could...They deserve it!!The BEST CUSTOMER SERVICE !!!

Ally was AWESOME! She could immediately tell I was overwhelmed when I was looking at all the sparkles and flowers on the bridal dresses (not what I wanted but in my budget). She knew exactly the simple classy dress I was looking for and we were able to find the one within the price I wanted to spend. 10/10 recommend 💕

I found my dress and absolutely love it! However, I was not asked what my budget was and did end up spending a little bit more than originally planned. I thought the person I worked with, Alice, did a good job of listening to what I wanted in a dress and finding ones that fit my body type as well as the style I was going for.

The staff needs a little more communication with each other. Lady at front told me to come to her if I wanted to try on, I did so. She tells me a room. And then another staff member opens the door while I am changing and asks if I was told to go to a certain dressing room?? Was not happy. Paid for a dress that was dirty and had pen markings on it and they wouldn’t even price the dress down a little. (I had a last min thing and had to buy the dress) probably how they can scam you into buying used dirty dresses. Won’t be back.

Went to the Friendswood location to shop for a dress for my daughter’s band banquet. The young lady who helped us, Zoe, was the best. Super sweet and helpful. She definitely made what could’ve been a stressful shopping experience (we waited until the last minute) very enjoyable. I will definitely go back for formal event needs. I recommend going there and asking for Zoe. She’s awesome!

We came to David’s today to try on dresses and Alice was our consultant! She did a great job pulling dresses and she was so kind! It was great when she pulled people from the family to help pull dresses based on her personality and what we knew she would enjoy. I wished she asked more questions regarding her likes and dislikes to be able to pull from that a little bit better but overall a great experience.

I honestly am at a lost for words for how truly amazing my experience at David’s Bridal was. This was the second bridal store I visited that day (the first one was a HORRIBLE experience with awful service), and let me just say that Stephanie turned that around for me. When I first walked in, only two hours before they closed, Stephanie greeted my sister and I and asked if we had an appointment which I did not. After feeling defeated thinking that I wouldn’t be able to try on any dresses (keep in mind I only had FOUR days before I left for my wedding), Stephanie gave me my last bit of hope by saying give her 10-15min and that she would squeeze me in. I am only having a courthouse wedding before my big wedding ceremony next year, so I wanted something super simple and sleek. A few dresses later, I found a dress I really liked but it didn’t fit me properly and it was too late for me to order the right size. It was then getting late, and I honestly had given up and changed into my regular clothes. As I was thinking about leaving and going home, here comes Stephanie with three more dresses that I did not even see in the store at first! I really did not like two of them but decided to give the third a chance, and I fell in love. I NEVER leave reviews, but Stephanie was a true angel and deserves all the accolades one can possibly get. She went over and beyond, did not give up on me, and helped me find my perfect dress at a FOURTH of my budget AND signed me up for the rewards program so that I received extra savings. My experience was absolutely priceless and I will definitely return for my dress for my big wedding!

Alice while I would love to give you a 5 star rating I have to take away a star for inadequate seating and pushy salesmanship. Davids Bridal, what are you doing having one chair available per group? We had a wonderful experience at Davids Bridal. I bought my dress elsewhere and had it altered here. It was supposed to be done on Friday morning (we were leaving Texas on Sunday with the dress) and it needed a few more minor alterations when I went to pick it up. I was so worried it wouldnt be able to get done, but Sue went above and beyond to make sure it was ready. She fixed it herself in just a few hours and we were very happy with the result. Sue is wonderful and the Davids Bridal location is highly recommended by us. Thank you, Sue!

We went to the Friendswood location. Very beautiful inside, the dresses were gorgeous and we were able to find my dress almost instantly. We were not pleased by how we were treated however. While the staff was helpful we were strongly given the impression that we were second best and we were asked not to look around until we bought something. It was only until after we purchased something were we treated as a top priority. My family and I did not appreciate the snobbish attitude. While we may have found a beautiful dress there, we could have probably found it somewhere else and would have been treated better. If this doesn’t bother you, then David’s Bridal is a good place to go, but otherwise I’m sure there are other places you can go.

The team at Davids Bridal helped me find a bridesmaid dress for my sisters wedding. I am plus size and have a shorter timeline (less than 4 months!) Until the wedding. We were able to find the style I liked in a color I liked and get it time for the alterations I would need. I cant wait to see my dress when it comes. They were so accommodating and friendly throughout the process and got me the best deal with their available promos.

I was in a pinch for my own ceremony which is just a few days away. Davids Bridal had a skirt I really liked and thought would work. Ally took my phone call and assured me she had the skirt in my size and would put it up for me until I could get there. Once there, Ally walked me through the fit and helped me match it up to my top and sash. Everyone in the store greeted me and I was helped right away. I highly recommend the Friendswood branch of Davids Bridal.

I don’t normally review places but this was genuinely one of the worst experiences I’ve ever had. I wouldn’t even give 1 star if that was an option. My stylist ignored my need extra length and pulled a dress that I ended up really liking. I was then told it didn’t come in extra length at all after asking about the ordering process. She frequently walked away from the appointment to help other clients and other stylists had to step in. We requested two separate dresses to try after verifying they could be ordered in extra length and she never pulled them. No one in the store seemed like they wanted to be there. At the beginning of my appointment one employee was visibly upset and voicing her frustrations to a coworker in the middle of the store by the fitting rooms. The coworker she was speaking to told her “not to let things get to her.” The whole thing was a giant mess. I heard horror stories about David’s when I worked in the bridal industry previously but decided to give the brand a shot. That’s definitely a mistake I won’t be making again. I ended up getting my dress at a local boutique that was wonderful, and will not be considering David’s for bridesmaids or anything else.

Maria S. at the Friendswood, TX location did the alterations on my wedding dress and my daughters bridesmaid dress. She made us feel incredibly comfortable, and beautiful while finding ways to help hide the flaws. For any bride who may be feeling a little self conscious about the way their dress will look, go see Maria and her team of sewing godmothers. They’ll work her magic and make you look and feel like a Queen.

I went with my daughter and her bride maids to look at some mother of the bride dresses. The ladies at the desk were very friendly and professional but the lady who presented herself as the stylist was very disappointing. She ask how many are going to try on dresses. When she got to me instead of asking her too, she said this one too. At that point I told my daughter I didnt appreciate being addressed as this. We looked at a few dresses and left disappointed because of the saleslady unprofessionalism

Very disappointed with this location, I booked an appointment to have my dress ready to try on when I arrived not only did they have me waiting forever not letting me know they could not find the dress that had on hold for me I decided to try on a few other dresses with no help from anyone I let 30mins pass by before I tried to ask what was going one and the lady in front told me to hold on in a not very nice tone so I just left!!!! What a horrible horrible experience!!!!

Davids bridal in Friendswood has been a wonderful experience for me, I went multiple times then finally found the dress I thought i wanted then ended up exchanging it and Alice the consultant that helped me more then once was so helpful and patient with me, she has all the bridal knowledge mixed with a mothers touch and a best friends honesty and max the manager is also extremely helpful and kind I highly recommend this location and store.

When I first got my dress they told me alterations would cost over 2,000 dollars so. Me and my mother In law got someone to look at my dress and they couldn’t do it. Went back to David’s bridal and the manger said that was out of line what they told me but sorry for the whole story. They charged me $530 dollars which is alittle high for me but my dress is getting done.

Tiggy and Amber were so so helpful! They helped me pick out not only my dress, but also my veil and shoes. So kind and a great sense of style. They found the perfect dress for me!

My stylists name was Neva at Davids Bridal. She did a wonderful job in walking me though the process of picking out my wedding dress. She was very attentive and helpful. Neva also helped me pick out bridesmaid looks. She also assisted my Mom in finding a dress for the wedding day. All the ladies that work at Davids Bridal were very friendly and helpful. I have nothing, but compliments to speak of about this Davids Bridal location. All the staff was in good spirits, knowledgeable, and smiling each time I have been in there and corresponded with them. Service was wonderful! Didnt like having to wear a mask. Also when I originally called to make my appt they told me alterations were included in the price of my dress. When I got there had to pay. Miscommunication for sure but the ladies were very helpful and nice

I came in with an appointment set with Bel to find a wedding dress. It was my first time looking for one. I had no idea where to start. 5-7 dresses in and nothing really felt right. Bel stepped away for a second to pick out one final dress for me. I tried it on and immediately knew it was the one.I CRIED. It was definitely a special moment I will never forget.
