Surprisingly fast for a welfare department and all dialed in now. I walked in cold footed and was out of there in an hour total still shaking my head over that, to be honest I had planned on spending my whole day there.

On time and the social workers are the best. Security is polite and great to have around. Good job people.

When I go for certain reasons I dont spend no more than an hour there. Its safe there.

I didnt feel safe

This place, despite whatever reason brings you there, is well run. Especially when given the fact its a government run facility and its where people go who are experiencing tough times in life. There could be a lot more information for people who have never participated in programs like these before. Who knew youd have to bring a copy of your old vehicle registration that you no longer drive? And why? If youve never had to use programs like this be prepared to jump through hoops they present to you, which Im sure costs more for them to present than it would be to just help you with what your needs are. Im sure its a designed speed bump to help prevent people from taking advantage, but really, registration for my nearly 20 year old vehicle? Lame.

FYI - Upon entering, Security checks the contents of bag, backpacks, et cetera. Dont have anything dangerous, or contribandish. A friend forgot he had a small bag of weed and ended up delayed for several hours waiting on security supervision et al to arrive and finally let him go.Other then that, it seems to move at a slow but definite pace. Take something to read and just relax, youll be called.

Its changed alot in this county office. Alot of individuals who need assistance with food shelter or transportation to seek employment, often dont want to wait for hours. In addition to extremely long waiting periods and standing in lines that take at least an hour before you are served. Its similar to Social Security Office. Lets see how long i will wait today...Over all theres been a major transformation in cleanliness, personal conduct for all persona entering. Security is usually very pleasant yet aware. Today. Not so pleasant. Focus and alert wasnt the case today. Five officers and not 1 made eye contact with me. Even witj past experiences Ive had here: i always say thank you....you gentlemen have a good day......
