It was really hot inside this store as if the A/C wasnt working I had to pull my mask down because I was sweating so much but the prices were worth it 😅

Its very hot in this store... I was sweating just standing in the long line. Never enough cashiers working. I hate this store. Id rather drive 20 minutes out of my way to another store!!!

I love the 99cent store. I always enjoy going shopping there but I was disappointed with the cashier. I just had surgery so Im dressed in pijamas but I needed to walk and since I needed somethings from the 99 my family and I went. When it came time to pay the cashier assumed I was paying with EBT. I was so offended even dough I know its not a bad thing its there for emergencies but still I was offended because she judge me by looks and my my 4 kids. I am an essential worker.I never stopped working. I was not allowed to stop people depend on me to help them.

As far as getting cheap products great store only thing is the super long checkout line and the store associates see that there is a really long line and they do not even open up another cash register does it make sense

My wife and I found the store to be organized and clean. The restrooms were closed for Covid19 reasons. There were not many employees to assist shoppers who may have had questions. All the checkout lanes were busy, and our checkout person was courteous to us and the shoppers in front of us. I was disappointed with some customers in our checkout lane. They did not practice the 6 feet social distancing policy. Outside of that flaw, our shopping experience was enjoyable.

I walk in at 7:30am because the web indicates that this store is in fact open when I get there and walk in the front cashier lady tells me to stop that I cant come in that its only senior hour. So I walked outside and called the manager luckily he was nice enough to let me in. Just because Im not a senior dosent mean Im not shopping for a senior. Thanks

Love This 99 Cents Store They Always Have A Bigger Selection Of Products Then Other Ones! The Shelves Are Stocked Well And If Out It Will Usually Be Stocked By The Next Day And The Employees Are Really Nice And Helpful....

I have been shopping at the 99cents store only store since 2006, it was a few block from my house at the time and I would walk there, almost daily I was addicted to it. But since they arent the same and if you are in Fresno this shouldnt be your first option. Its messy, stuff is always openned and you will find some characters in there. And if you do come to this one make sure you come before 11am and the good stuff is put out.

Good service lines get long but they actually open more registers not like other 99 cent stores they never do.

The cashier was rude and unprofessional. She was nice to the gentleman in front of me, but when it was my turn her attitude changed.

I will never go to that 99 cent again! The person with me and both got around 50 dollars worth and when went to check out there was a line of about 30 people! We tried to ask if would open another check stand and woman was exceedingly rude!Security personnel tried to soothe my anger but it wasnt his fault and he could do nothing! He was embarassed by her behavior!

Customers dont social distance!! Unbelievable especially now with the spiking in Covid-19. The management needs to address that issue in the Kings Canyon store flagrant disregard for safety. Make continual announcements...limit number of customers. Dangerous store and I wont be going back there anytime soon.

Staff is courteous & try so hard to keep up with this pandemic.

Checkout line were traditionally slow. The cashier was talking very casually with a customer while there were several people waiting. It seem not to effect her she continued to talk and move slowly. Just when you think ...great shes totalled up the amount...the women said oh Im a dollar short....let me go to my car and get a dollar. To my surprise the cashier said ok! Without checking anyone else out, we waited and waited...the other people in line were very patient....she finally returns and gives her the dollar...and says oh wait I forgot something....and the cashier said ok..unbelievable! She totalled my amount and I left before I said something....while the rest of the customers again waited for this woman to retrieve something else in the store! I would have scored this experience at a one (1) if I hadnt had courteous and helpful staff previously.

Good deals. They had a cast iron griddle. Not to busy.

While like a lot of bargain stores it is sometimes a matter of grabbing something while it is there because it might not be there long a lot of their brands remain the same. I prefer it over Dollar Tree as they carry produce & have a wider selection of items. Also as some items get near their expiration date you can get them 2 for a dollar or 4 for a dollar. Like today when I was there they have Crack an Egg 2 for a dollar. P.S. you can freeze this product & slowly thaw it out in the refrigerator overnight.

My experience at the store was very terrible . Every time I go this is like 2 or 3 times a week they only have 1 or 2 cashiers and long lines no carts people handling there items in there arms. Cashiers look very frustrated. I like the store for there fresh fruits but they do need more help.i hope you guys can fix the problem . thank you

Store is filthy, most employees including management are rude and unprofessional. Disorganized, long lines. Plus side is the prices ...once in awhile youll find a diamond in the rough. Produce dept is unkept, possible health hazards present...example, leaking scented oil plugin refill pkg and opened box of pest control Motels were in the produce cooler laying on top of an opened bag of grapes, an employee noticed, attempted to retrieve items, a blue shirted manager rudely barked at the concerned employee, to do not remove stuff, thats the produce girls responsibility!! We dont worry about that area so go back to your aisle and get back to work! ..so much for team work!

I called so that I wont have to go and not find what I was looking for she said you are welecomed to come check. The I called dollor tree and they gladly said let me check and said no they do not have any. Thats all she had to do but did not so this is why its a one star.

Need more register open! Line is too long, worker works too slow, i understand that the store is stingy with money but better to have customers coming in and out then not making no money at all.

It was very clean and organized! As soon as I walked in, I was greeted by an employee with a smile! Love shopping in an organized place that has outstanding customer service!

The prices are nice however its not 99 cent store anymore it should be named 99 cent and plus also the store is dirty bathrooms are dirty an the cashiers need to smile clean an organize this store an train your cashiers to be more polite.

Lets start off with the good... its amazing how 99¢ Store has come up. The inventory that you can find here is 75% - 90% off of regular retail stores. Unfortunately I have to say a few bad things that just recently encountered, your lines have been quite long and thats still with 3 staff working the registers. But the staff for the most part is very courteous. The security guard that you have is a bit, lets just say that he is lacking in the manners department. I understand he has a job to do but me, as a customer, who was very surprised to have someone come out of nowhere and get right behind you, I was perturbed. It wasnt until 30 seconds later that I realized he was doing recon in the card section. Also nobody needed to hear his conversation regarding not having the items he needed to do his job.

This is my favorite 99 cent store! Lots of items, pretty clean. Nice tellers.

Stock is well stocked. All youre most needed every day essentials are available. Need Would go again.

A more food-centric dollar store. Many excellent deals, especially produce and rotating overrun brand name products. Some staple items a little overpriced, but overall a great supplement to a grocery store. Get what you can here saving some $, then finish elsewhere.

Took over 10 min to get a manage up the the front registers to void out a transaction that the cashier missed scanned. The cashiers was rude. Very disapinted in my shopping experience and the manager on duty!

I asked to use the bathroom and the lady who works here said the bathrooms closes at 5pm. It is now 7:57 pm. Her name is Mandy . Extremly poor custormer service here.

Rude attitudes everytime I come here especially register #1 always visiting amongst co-workers or other customers who they choose to greet. Very unprofessional working with public for being an older lady cashier is rude. It has been years no matter time of day long lines and managers lazy to allow thier employees to act so unprofessional. With all these low ratings they should think of adjusting the employee list to maybe hiring new ones.

Manger was so rude and a lair. Something was put on hold for me and I wanted to call and check if it was before I go all the way there to pick it up. He lie about how someone bought it. How could someone buy it when it was put on hold. Then he said they only tell customers they will hold things but really they don’t. I call him out on rephrasing what he said is saying that he will lie to customers about it and he denied he ever lie. Then he hung up on me. I found out he went to take the items that was put on hold for me and that he lie someone bought it, away. There you go he is a liar. He probably wanted to keep it for himself. So rude. I’m calling corporate on him even though I didn’t get his name. They shouldn’t be keeping first things to themself if they see it or have it limited. I love the 99cent but this location is a never to go too.#99centmangerlair
