Was assigned this business from home warranty. They replaced several parts including the control panel. I told them from the beginning it was a fuse, but they wouldnt listen. Finally when they replaced the fuse and the dishwasher began working I noticed that the control panel they replaced was generic and had none of the feature the model comes with. I have been working with the home warranty about this business keeps avoiding them. They have been sent 4 control panels in total and instructed to come replace it, but they claim they never received the parts. ...enough said, as I would just suggest not using this business.

The ABSOLUTE worst customer service ever. The only good thing about this company, was Slavic, who was kind, prompt and efficient (on a separate project). But the supervisor was rude and demanding after totally missing my scheduled appointment slot. Instead of being accommodating for missing my appt (which I had to take off a half days work for) she was dismissive and hung up on me when I told her, I would report her behavior to American Home Shield. Obviously, there is a reason they have an overall rating of 1.5 stars! Horrible!!!

They are the most dishonest company other than Oakhurst plumbing that I know!! I wish I could give them half a star!!! I had them coming to fix my dishwasher, the guy said he was going to order the motor part! My insurance paid for it but he never came to replace it!! When I talked to the owner (he was actually really nice) he said his service guy said he came and took his word!! The owner was really nice and polite, but nothing got fixed!! So I had to pay again and another company (Universal Appliance they are amazing & honest!!!) to come to fix it!! And they actually came replace the motor and even left me the old one since I wanted to show A&R how dishonest his worker was!!!

We had our refrigator not making ice, we call our insurance and they send this gaiz, they been coming every week now and making different reasons, that it’s going to get fix next and next week and now they came and said they need order part, avoid this company at all cost .

This service call took 3 months to complete, 3 different service visits. I called the office to try to get answers and was promised a call back, but Never Received one. This was a repair through AHS and I hope they never use them again. I will say the repairman was friendly, but that doesn’t fix a 3 month wait !!!!! I do not recommend this company

Run as far as you can from this company for two reasons: 1) they will diagnose your appliance and fake a report to a insurance company ( i.e. home warranty) and 2) they will not respond back to you. I highly recommend anyone who has dealt with this situation to contact the Federal Trade Commission and report their fraud.

I think we all know when we have a bad experience with service or a product we are quick to give a bad review. However when a company is deserving a good review we put doing it on the back burner and sometimes forget. A & R has done 2 or 3 repairs for use including our stove, refrigerator and dishwasher. Each time a young man named Andrew came by to do the repairs and was very professional and knowledgeable and was willing to wear his mask while in our home. The gals in the office were always very nice and willing to check on parts that were ordered for some of the repairs. I also believe you get what you give, being kind and understanding that things take time. In the age of right click and get what you want overnight can not be done in the service industry and understanding that will help everyone involved. Thank you A & R for your great service.

Home warranty sent them on 9/6/2020 they kept giving different reasons my ice maker wasn’t working. Finally 5 1/2 months later my ice maker is making ice but not dispensing it and they are saying oh that’s a different issue make another service request. NO it’s not I waited patiently for over 5 months and got half @ss work. They guessed the first 3 visits and finally found the teal problem on 4th visit. Would not recommend them at all

DO NOT do business with this company! Took nearly 3 months to fix our oven due to repeated incompetence and no urgency. We stayed because we were assigned to them by American Home Shield (who we have since canceled). If youre assigned them through your appliance insurance, do yourself a favor and request someone else immediately.Long story:First time the technician came he was told our oven was a microwave and did not bring the proper equipment. Rather than returning with the proper equipment, he guessed what the problem was (he did not tell us this until later). Their receptionist told me the part would be in on Wednesday, then Friday, then Tuesday, then Thursday. Each time I called her she told me it didnt arrive but it would be there next time. Finally I asked what was going on and she said OH the part is actually on backorder. We have no idea when it will arrive. Finally 6 weeks later the part arrives and instead of scheduling us promptly, they scheduled us a week out. When the technician came, he realized he had misdiagnosed the problem. We had been waiting 6 weeks for a part we didnt need. It was then that he told us how hed guessed because he didnt have the rack needed to pull the oven from the wall. They order the new part and are back two weeks later. He plugs in the part and discovers that he needs the rack to finish the job... which he did not bring... The same one he did not bring the first time...I asked why he didnt bring it and he said the other guys have it and his boss told him he PROBABLY doesnt need it. I was livid and told him to come back the next day or have another guy come finish the job. This was on a Thursday. All technicians were busy so we had to take a Wednesday appointment. They said you have an appointment for Wednesday and youre on the cancelation list too. Now its been two months.They call me Tuesday, the day before my appointment to schedule me an appointment for Monday. I said no I have an appointment for tomorrow morning. They even said I was on the cancelation list She said Im not on the list. My only option is to take the Monday appointment. I asked for the owner/manager and left a voice-mail. They never got back to me. After another two weeks later he returns and its fixed. We honestly have no idea if the job was done correctly or if we should expect failure within the week.At every step this company was incompetent, unprofessional, and showed no inclination to hurry the process along or try to make it right. The receptionist was rude and laughed at me several times when I would ask questions or suggest solutions. The manager did not equip or inform their employees and did not care about their companys reputation or timeliness. The technician failed at nearly every step.DO NOT do business with this company. Save yourself a near 3 month headache and call someone else.

Worst company and staff Ive ever dealt with! I only gave a star because its required to post a review.Over a month ago Whirlpool scheduled them to repair my ice maker. No one ever showed up. I called to ask what happened. The lady said Who said we were coming?... Whirlpool always does that. We then made another appointment, which went fine. However, he needed to come back with the new part.Fast forward to today. I took time off of work to be here for our time frame which was 12-5pm. At 12:35pm I missed the call and received a voicemail that my appointment is now cancelled. I called back at 12:50, 15 minutes later. I asked why my appointment is cancelled, it has only been 15 minutes. She said if you miss the call your appointment is automatically cancelled. The technician doesnt want to wait in the heat. I explained its only been 15 minutes, theres still 4 hours left. She then said they are triple booked. I asked if theres any way they can come as I took the day off from work and we have been waiting for a long time to have it fixed. She put me on hold. Again she told me if I dont answer the phone it has to be rescheduled. Then, JANET started yelling in the background. Saying the same thing as the lady I was talking to. I told the lady she does not need to yell in the background, Im not talking to her. She told her what I said with an attitude and a giggle, then Janet got on the phone. She began yelling and repeating herself. She said your appointments rescheduled! And hung up on me.I called back. When she answered, I asked if she was the manager, she said YES! I asked her name (I didnt know at the time) She said Janet, then I asked for her last name. She said I dont have to give that to you. I said if youre the manager you do. She said Im going to ask the owner, WHO IS HER HUSBAND. When she got back on the phone she said the owner said I dont have to give it to you! Its against the law! I told her she had no customer skills and was the rudest person Ive ever talked to. She then said Im a liar and shes sending my part back and they will not service my address.Apparently, Janet thinks she can yell at customers and hang up on them. And looking at all of the other reviews I see Im not the only one this has happened to. I will be reporting this to Whirlpool. They really need to contract with another company that actually cares about good customer service.Message to the owner, get your wife out of the office!

Absolutely horrible! Took a week to schedule an appointment for my broken refrigerator. They diagnosed the problem and said the part had to be ordered. They then rescheduled us 3 weeks later and missed our appointment without notice. They called 2 days later to reschedule the appointment again... but not until the following week. Again we waited home all day and they did not show up without any notice. I called the next day and the lady answering the phone had no clue of my appointment. She said I had never been on calendar. I then tried to reschedule, and the lady said the part we were waiting for had not even arrived yet so she didn’t know why we kept getting scheduled. They called 2 weeks after that to reschedule, at which point we informed them we had already ordered a new fridge. It’s unreasonable to go roughly 2 months without a refrigerator. Stay away from these people. They are the only reason I will not be renewing my home warranty. It was easier to buy 2,000 fridge, than deal with these people.

Absolutely the worst experience ever!!!!Very unprofessional. They left a mess. The repair guy left took my freezer apart and didn’t put it back before leaving. I asked if he could return to fix it. He said I could Youtube to figure it out. Truly unbelievable. I told him he could have left my refrigerator like we had it as common courtesy, He said I should have taken it out for him as common courtesy...Not professional, rude, not anyone you want in your home.American First Home Warranty why do you hire these people???Look at all these reviews!!!

I phoned the business at 8:00 am and serviceman arrived before noon. He disassembled the dryer, diagnosed the problem, and went to get parts. He finished his other appointments and returned with parts. By 6pm, my dryer was fixed. Price was reasonable. I will be using this service again.

I’ve waited over a month for them to fix my refrigerator every time I call (Jennifer) doesn’t have any information to give me. Your better off going to their office and doing the job yourself 😂 anyways I called a couple weeks ago to talk to the manager (Jennifer) who barely calls me back to tell me because I told her how rude the office lady was in a voicemail that I can quote ( start all over and reorder a backordered part) even though I’ve been waiting already a whole month and then some. If you call don’t expect good customer service these people hate their jobs! It takes months just to get a part now I’m stuck with a fridge that doesn’t work because jennifer decided I guess she didn’t wanna do her job today unbelievable!

Took 5 separate visits to fix the dishwasher and each time they just guessed which part it might be. Worst service possible. Also upon completing repair didnt even re fully install the dishwasher back. Dont recommend even to my worst enemy.

Worst company EVER!!! I would rather swim in a pool full of sharks than deal with these people. If I could leave NO stars I would. The receptionist is extremely rude and the technicians dont know squat! And they are very unprofessional. It took a month for my dishwasher to get fixed. They came out four times. I had to wait a week each time since they only came to my area on Thursdays. They diagnosed the problem but didnt have the part. So, the next week they fixed it. It went out again immediately. Had to wait another week for them to come out and diagnose then another week for the part and be in my area again. So, my dishwasher quit again after a few months of use. I called another company who came out within one day and he was very professional and knowledgeable. He showed is why it kept going out due to how A and R incorrectly fixed it. So, now it is fixed thanks to Valley Pro Appliance!

Scheduled 4 days in advanced. They would not give a time window. I called twice to see if there was a time frame on the scheduled date and was just told the tech would call first. Waited 7 hours and couldn’t wait any longer. Called to cancel and then I was told the tech would be there in one and half hours which was very close to their closing time. So I will be without a washer for a few more days and use a more reliable company. Obviously I will not call them again.

WORST COMPANY I HAVE EVER DEALT WITH!!! If your home warranty company assigned them take my advice and call your warranty company and ask for a different vendor ASAP! They are impossible to get a straight answer from and their techs take short cut everything causing multiple visits. Had to wait 6 weeks for them to get their documents in order to submit my refrigerator as un repairable to my home warranty company. I REPEAT, WORST COMPANY EVER!!!

Today there was a incident where the driver showed up at the wrong house to repair our dishwasher. It was their third time out and multiple conversations were had with the office staff on the correct address. No idea why the information wasnt passed along to the repair guy.He called the cell number we provided which happens to be my wifes and was very rude due to his company not providing him with the correct address. She notified me and I called the A&R office. I spoke with Janet who stated if I would like to make a claim my wife would have to call and wanted to know what was rude about what was said.I told her I already made the complaint and if rude is standard in her company...I was then cut off by a yelling Janet. She hung up after stating that she is cancelling service and not going to answer the calls.I called the repair guy who was rude to my wife and asked if hed thought it was appropriate to be rude to a customer and he asked me where i was located and offered to show me what rude is.I wish I would have looked at the reviews before agreeing with Frigidaire to have A&R in my house. Frigidaire was not surprise when I called and made a complaint. Appears mine wasnt the first.

Horrible. Do yourself a favor and call someone else! Unprofessional, rude, slow and horribly expensive. Took three trips and had to call another company. Never apologized, took over a month and still not fixed. These guys will cost you more in the long run. Call a reputable professional company instead. Uneducated and rude hillbilly receptionist is the icing on the cake for this lackluster operation.

Repairman contracted to repair an oven and he did fix it but dropped a tool or something across the plug prongs and melted the outlet and wiring, then said it was like that when he got there. The techs name was Vlad and I recommend to never use this company! Called their shop and they offered no resolution!

I have a home warranty program, They said I had to use them. I scheduled an apt. I told them I had to miss work. I told them that the part that had went out on my washer. They made me an apt. it wa a 5 hour window making miss work the whole day. He came, was here less then 15 mins. he didnt have the right tools and no parts. Their was a rusty bolt he didnt address. The second visit he was here 5 mins and tool me he didnt have the tool for the bolt. the 3rd visit he was here 10 to 15 mins. kinda tried a socket on the bolt then said he couldnt fix it. As a single income I am out 3 days of work. I spent over a hundred at the laundry mat. I have lost enough money to but a new washer. But I didnt have that kind of money so the house payment now behind. each visit they made them so I had to give them a 5 hour window to show up. the person answering the phone short, rude and not helpful. the supervisor let you go to voice mail and doesnt call back. dont use them. the repair guy showed up in short tank top no socks and shoe where untied like he just rolled out of bed.

Horrible service and down right terrible management. Janet the office manager is the worst of them all and exhibits no desire to help any customer with anything. She is very Rude believes its okay to yell at and then hang up on customers without hearing them out. The customer is always wrong with her. They cancelled my appointment for no reason after charging me $676. I had to file a dispute with my CC service. No wonder this company has such a poor reputation online. They cant be trusted.

This was hands-down one of the most unbearable experiences of dealing with a so-called professional business. It would have been far less painful to have received road rash at a high rate of speed and had the gravel and tar from the road scrubbed out at a slow rate then to have dealt with these people. I seriously cannot believe they are still in business. -5 stars. Hope to save someone from losing three months of their life. I never post reviews or speak poorly of people or businesses trying to do their best, everybody has a bad day but for the good of humanity I felt obligated to help out my fellow man .

This company is HORRID!!!! I put a claim in for my dishwasher to be fixed through my home warranty company on May 7, 2020. The first guy came out to diagnose the issue and ordered the part. Two weeks later (yes, two weeks later) another guy came out to fix it. He could not do it on his own and I was told it was a two man job. I received a call from A and R to set a new appointment to complete the job. It was set for June 5, 2020, and I had my sister wait the four hour window period (on her birthday, no less) and nobody showed up! When I called A and R they claimed the appointment was set for June 12th, which is absolutely not true...Grrrrr...Then, on June 8th, A and R called me to reschedule the appointment to June 19th because one of their techs had a personal issue. So, here we are today, June 19th, and two guys came to fix the dishwasher and Im being told they ordered the wrong part and they will be calling me to reschedule!! It takes this company two weeks minimum to get anything done. It will literally be two months I have waited for a simple dishwasher repair by the time they get back out...this is just not OK! WORST COMPANY I HAVE EVER HAD TO DEAL WITH.

The technician that finally came did not know what he was doing and was rude to my family. I ended up hiring someone else to do the same job. There is a reason why this company has one star. They called more than three hours before the scheduled appt time and said I better take off work and meet the repair man (who was very nice) or they would cancel the claim and the home warranty company would side with them. So be advise they will not stick to scheduled appointment times. If they get there early they expect you to be there or they cancle the claim forfeiting your 75.00$deductible. So I would suggest if you work and cant be home all hours of the day find another company.

Poor experience! If you can avoid this place RUN AWAY! They came out after two weeks of saying we didn’t have a valid warranty for my refrigerator. Then when we finally find the warranty it take them a week to come out. They scheduled us for a Saturday which they were closed so we waited for nothing. He comes Tuesday And says it takes 7-10 business days to get the part! They finally get the part and they call to schedule us a week after they get the part. They schedule us for 8:15am. 9am rolls around and we call them and they say a tech will be out between 8-12 smh they are completely incompetent over there! Customer service sucks! Close the whole appliance fixing business! Don’t waste your time or energy!

Had this company requested to fix our washing machine through our Home Warrenty. We were Told appointment was 8-12. My wife had to call at 12:30 to be told the appointment was cancelled because they called my wife to confirm and she didn’t answer. She said she also left a voicemail. Which neither happened. The woman even said in a rude tone, I can send you screenshots. Sorry no one called. So they remade an appointment the same day from 2-5pm. No one showed. I called about 4:30 to see if someone was still showing up. The phone picked up and I was immediately put on hold. I asked eventually if the appointment was still on, and the woman said yes, but the tech wasn’t checking in with them. But yes the appointment was still scheduled. No one showed. So I called at 5:01 pm and they were close only to go to voicemail. The technician called and said he had been waiting in front of our house for 10min. He called at 5:28. 28mins after the scheduled time. I told him the appointment was at 5pm so no one is there. He said he got held up at another job. And that we would have to reschedule the appointment. So I told him that since both appointments were cancelled due to not calling or showing two time now, we would just cancel our request and request another company. Didn’t seemed concerned with that. I am leaving this review now because it is clear we are not the only ones this has happened to. Our story is almost identical to several other stories. I would love to see someone from this company contact me to tell me I am wrong. But based on the reviews I don’t think they really care at this point. Poor service, poor communication, 0 stars if I could. I wouldn’t have them in my house for free at this point.

The technicians are pretty good at what they do. The office staff is completely rude and unprofessional, however. The only reason we did business with this company was because they were the service provider contracted by the manufacturer of our new appliances. We will be sure not to do business with them in the future, and have the appliance manufacturer know how unprofessional their contracted repair service is.

Oh man I wish I would have checked this company’s reviews before I selected them. I have been dealing with these guys for almost a year trying to get my refrigerator fixed. They completely dropped the ball and after several months I finally got a new ice maker through my home warranty company. The unit was not installed correctly so ice maker needed to be replaced again. Because of the way this company delayed and mishandled this claim I am now having problems with the warranty being denied. It is now December and I still have no working ice maker. I was cut off and yelled at when I raised my voice trying to overtalk and explain the details of my problem and then when I told the gal I would be recording the conversation so I had proof of how I was being treated she said she wouldn’t be recorded and hung up on me. I called back to leave message number THREE for the owner and she said NO and hung up on me. This company and First American Warranty work together to charge service fees and then find a way to take your money and deny your claim. Both companies dropped the ball and instead of helping me they refused to accept responsibility, cutting me off and now refusing to honor 2 warranties I should have. 2 for the new ice maker and the original warranty that I already paid $75 service fee for.

The company was a member of the BBB, so I thought they were credible. After calling around town I found it was standard to offer a partial credit for the visit fee towards future repair. After paying $65 to have the technician come out to diagnose our washing machine stopping he quickly said we needed an entirely new main controller board for over $200. We reluctantly agreed and asked about the $35 credit wed receive towards the part. The technician knew nothing about it as he was a sub contractor and referred us to the main company number.The company denied they ever offered a credit towards repairs, asked for the manager/owner to call us back. After several days and no replies we tried again and got a very abrasive owners-wife who said we were wasting her time. Upon getting such a reaction we got a second opinion from another local company. They found that our water lines were clogged with sand/debris and after only a few minutes of cleaning the machine worked just fine (and still does!)Left a voicemail for A&R over the weekend to tell them the problem they diagnosed it with was incorrect and we would not be pursuing repairs or future work with them. The wife called back and yelled and literally screamed at me that I was liable for 20% of the part cost because they now had to go return it. There was no speaking with her, disconnected the call and never heard from them again (thankfully). Hoping this helps someone else.

Unfortunately... very unprofessional blaming myself the client that in a middle of a creek fire possible evacuation...i did not hear the knock on the door when I am in a large home with my air conditioner full blast...no attempt to ring doorbell and continued to blame me..no phone call prior to arrival and yet again blaming the customer...i apologize for getting upset but it is hard for me to not feel passionate about such poor quality of business and customers should not be frustrated but after speaking to the owner customers have no rights and i was asked to go to another service...which praise God..i have and they are on their warp speed way...thank God some companies remember that without customers you have no business..in this time of covid and wildfire season here in California I would not suggest this company for anything and they threatened to call the police on me for calling back and being upset...again i am sorry if i was emotional please forgive me as this is a very trying time for the world and a business should desire to work together with the customers in their community...if this is the NWO..i am not interested...I will pray for you...God Bless...peace..

I submitted a complaint with American Home Shield (Insurance agency) for the repair of my dryer at home in September. After the initial diagnosis of the issue with my dryer, it took the tech that was sent out 3 weeks to attempt to fix my dryer, and as of this date still has not diagnosed the problem with my dryer correctly. In the 4 scheduled appointments with this company, they showed up late every time or did not show up. Each time I, or a family member took time off to meet with these people and they showed up late or not at all. After each appointment, they had not fixed my dryer because what they originally thought what the problem was, happened to be something else. When I would call the main office to get an explanation for the horrible service, they either didnt answer the phone or they would give me some excuse like, Sorry, our system was down. I would ask for a manager to speak with, they would say, Shes not here right now, in fact she will be out all week. You can leave her a voicemail. Did I get a call back from the Manager? NOPE! I had to call again in order to speak with her. All of this happened over a 3-4 week period of time, all in which they still could not fix the dryer.I ended up getting another opinion from AHS and they sent out another service provider, which took one visit to fix my dryer. One! All I did was have a conversation over the phone with the gentleman about my dryer issue, set up an appointment and that was it. The technician showed up on time, fixed my dryer and was out of my house in 90 minutes. Dryer is working!!!!! Jerry & Michaels Appliance Rocks!!!!DO NOT USE A&R APPLIANCE!!! If I could give it 0 star I would. Worthless!!!

Jennifer who answered the phone was very snippy and she made sure to inform me that if I were not home when the technician got there, he would just go on to the next call with no regard for me as a customer who may be taking off work to rush home. I simply let her know that I was told that I would be getting a phone call 30 minutes before the technician would be there. Because of how abrupt and short she was with me, I asked for a manager and was passed to Janet who stated that she and her husband owns the business. Janet was very defensive and did not demonstrate the professionalism that an owner of a reputable company would. I see why Jennifer is still allowed to work their...their customer service is parallel. Sears Warranty referred me to this company. Janet stated, in a not so friendly manner, that she does not subscribe to yelp because it has fake reviews. Ironically, Janet and Jennifer have confirmed the negative reviews with their unprofessional manner of working with potential customers. I canceled my service call today because I will NOT support poor customer service and poor leadership. Was recommended this company by our home warranty company, even after I read the reviews, I gave them the benefit of the doubt, but notified the home warranty co of what I read in case the same happens.....it did. first off the office staff I had no issue with friendly and apologetic ...the techs never showed,called nada. taking off work isnt always that easy to sit at home for an appointment that is to happen. maybe they need new staff, better communication skills who knows. so now I am informing the home warranty of what happen, that we kinda were already expecting to. with all due respect, I would go elsewhere or google it yourself how to repair items

Please do not have this place repair anything you have. All the (probably ugly) female receptionists are rude and extremely unhelpful. They will also send a technician from a middle eastern location that does not speak English. You will be expected to communicate via a cell phone application. Two visits later my almost brand new double over is not repaired. I wish there were thumbs down boxes to check. Someone help these women get dates please!!!

As previously stated refuse to use this company if assigned through home warranty. They came out a minimum of 7 times and still did not fix anything. We couldnt get it assigned to another company because they wouldnt submit their paperwork to the warranty company and they never ordered the parts they said they were going to. After 9 months we were finally able to get it assigned to another company, who concluded that the unit needed replacing because the parts (AR were supposed to order) were discontinued. I dont understand why AR didnt just say that in the first place instead of giving us the run around for all these months. What everyone says about this company is 100% true!

American Home Warranty sent these guys out, beginning in August, My oven is not heating evenly, food is raw in the middle, told me I had a bad breaker in my electric box, called an electrician, nothing wrong, came again to do a full diagnostic on the stove, but did not have the needed tools, today is the 7th visit, said they cant find a problem..Home warranty company called after the visit and stated my knobs were on wrong..funny..my oven is ran by a digital panel..my stove top has knobs...MY OVEN DOESNT WORK..The guys they send are young and not very knowledgeable..would not recommend them..UPDATE:::Sears repairman came out to my home...found the issue in 1 visit..Oven works great!!!!

*Update*After calling and calling, they finally got back to me. Only to tell me, lie to me rather, that the technician called the primary number that was given to him. I never received a call. Was never informed that he was running late. I asked my Husband and father in law to see if maybe they contacted them and that was a no.So instead of telling me the truth, that he was running late/forgot to call/didnt want to call/whatever, I was lied to.Instead of sending someone out ASAP I was pretty much put in the order of convenience for them. HORRIBLE SERVICE!!! Do NOT use this company.I don’t understand how they are still in business with the way they treat their customers. My mother called her insurance company to have her washer serviced and they dispatched this company. They dispatched an inexperienced (by his words) technician who said that he only had 3 months of experience and didn’t really know what he was doing. When he said he “fixed” the problem he left without testing the washer. My mom tested it out and it didn’t work (not a surprise) and noticed not only was it not working but now the top piece to her washer had been broken now too. When we attempted to reach the company we were not only spoken down to but yelled at and hung up on by the “owner” Janet.When attempting to speak to the owner she became more irate and said that we were no longer allowed to call her so called company anymore and that our claim was being dispatched through GE. They were nothing but rude and scammers. They didn’t fix the problem and broke our washer even more now.Do NOT use this company. If you are referred to this business, REFUSE to use them. They are unprofessional, incompetent, and rude. The service technicians that come to your home will tell you one thing and the people in the office will tell you a completely different story. This is how their scam works: the technician will tell you one thing, but not include it on his paperwork, he will tell you that he is going to talk to his supervisor about a warranty claim. The technician who came to my house told me the refrigerator was not repairable and he would forward the information to his superior to put in a warranty claim. Instead, the people in the office ordered a compressor, never called me to let me know it had arrived, but at the point that I finally called, told me that they wanted to schedule a senior technician to install a compressor. This is after the main panel at the back of the freezer had already been replaced 3 times. When I told the woman what the technician told me, she said it wasnt in his paperwork and if he said the fridge wasnt repairable, he was lying. Mind you I have had no fridge for 2 weeks and am buying ice every day, but they dont care. In point of fact, this racket they are perpetrating reeks of desperation. As long as you let them, they will continue to pretend they are making repairs so they can milk the manufacturer for every last pittance. Stay away or get it in writing....in triplicate.

Well, almost 2 months later and they still have my microwave, that is part of a oven/microwave combo. A couple trips out, and a couple appointments canceled because the part is defective. How does any company stay in business when they only receive ‘defective parts’. I think I would be looking for a new supplier. I specifically asked if the microwave was working, both heating and the LED screen, which were both out, and how was that accomplished by only ordering one part? I was told there was only a loose wire and it would be installed on Friday. The appt was set and the installer called me 1 hour before the window of arrival and informed me that the part was defective. Really? They said it was FULLY operational 2 days ago. We need to order a door switch now. It will be here today or Monday. I call our home warranty on the following Friday and she returns a call saying the part arrived but was defective. Again? Really? Thats three defective parts now, according to the people at A & R, in total, for a single repair. Our claim was made on October 29th. Today is December 15 and the part should be here sometime next week. I’m not optimistic, to say the least.

Negative Five Stars (if it were possible)Hopefully, people who are looking for an appliance repair service see this before they hire A & R. As for the warranty folks, most will have to deal with this fraudulent company without knowing what they are in for.TECH SERVICE: The technician they sent out did not work directly for the company, he was subcontracted. It was his first month as a repairman for his own independent company. They hired him because he was closer to us than their office. Each time he came out he was by himself, and I felt like letting try since he was new and I figured it would only be a visit or two before the washer was fixed. It took a lot longer than that, 8 weeks, yes, EIGHT weeks.The office admin said he did not have any authority to finalize diagnosis, schedule follow ups, or order parts. Instead everything had to be sent through their office first, this added to the weeks it took to actually repair the washer. The technician came to our house five times, each time there was a 4-5 hour service time window, which did not include the repair time. This occurred over a time span of eight weeks. Each time I had to have someone be at home since I work out of town. This ended up totaling about 30 hours, I got fed up and so did the house sitter and I just loaded the washer into my truck and took it to them directly.It took them a week to repair it after I dropped it off to them. In the mean time my family and I had to use a coin op laundry service. The warranty company said they can reimburse you for laundry cost (no mileage) if you submit a form, I did and nothing happened.OFFICE STAFF: Amazingly terrible customer service over the phone. In between each visit over the 6 weeks, the office staff would mention that their service manager was in a meeting or out for the day. One of those time they mentioned the manager’s had mother died, which of course delayed the repairs even more since parts and service could not be scheduled without him. From other review services it was mentioned by different customers that they too were told his mother died, and it was not on the same week or month. Apparently, the manager has had several mothers of his die over the last few years.INSURANCE CO.: The reason I used the repair company was because they were the first on the warranty’s service list, likely this is based on their name, A & R. This is unfortunate because most people (including me) will not check the company’s review until after they have started the repair process and things are not getting done or taking too much time. At that point most see the 1-star reviews but it is too late. The warranty service says you can get a new appliance if the repair company says the appliance cannot be repaired, but this company likely milks the insurance for as much money as possible with repeated house calls and service delays. I suspect this because they are still in business and most of their reviews are 1-star. Most of their positive reviews are likely fake.On the company’s website they have 5-star Google reviews embedded. Looking at Google maps (where most people see reviews), no such reviews are posted and looking at the websites elements there is no direct link between the site and Google’s review service, which means the reviews have to be “photoshopped/formatted” to look like Google’s review. Having fake reviews might extend to a lot (if not all) the 5-star reviews posted here.I also learned from the insurance that they can’t assign another company to do the repairs unless the first company signs off on the paperwork stating the appliance is fixed.

Ordered the wrong part, had to buy a mini fridge in the meantime while I was waiting for the part. I will be on my 4th visit for my microwave because they kept ordering the wrong part. Made an appointment 4 weeks ago, however they put me on the last visit of the day close to 5 pm. You would think I would be a priority due to previous repair problems...hope! Do yourself a favor and do not use this company!! They are just about as useless as my hm warranty company (First American home warranty) the only reason I had to use them was bc my warranty company sent them out twice. The First time my warranty company ordered the wrong part but it was used. Second time was the right part but also used so I refused it being installed. The part clearly was used had corrosion and rust and was a major hazard. The technician told me the part was used but of course he didn’t put that in his report. He stated it was a new part and that I refused the installation. My claim manager did not want to work with me in getting a new part or having my oven replaced and Gave me the run around until I had to call corporate. They got the issue fixed and I have a replacement coming soon. If A & R Appliance had the decency to be a good company and do whats right for the consumer they would’ve had 5 stars from me but sadly they don’t care about their customers and are all about $$$. The girls in the office are whole other story— rude, incompetent and lack simple communication skills. I was livid at how unproffessional they were. I do not reccommend this company to anyone.

If you can even give them a 1. This company is horrible. They were called out via American Home Shield Warranty service to do three repairs at my residence a washer, a cook top and a refrigerator. After three visits and no appliances being repaired. Each time they came out, they showed up in an unmarked vehicle, no tool pouch, no tool box - the technician literally was going through a cardboard box to look for a tool in his truck. Each time, I was told they either couldnt diagnose it or they didnt have the tool to diagnose it or they had the part but couldnt fix it because they did not have a tool to do the repair.I was getting so upset, I talked to the office personnel, Krista, the woman is 100% RUDE!!! There is literally no talking with her, she breaths very heavy under her breath and refuses to listen to your concerns at all. More than that, she continually hangs up on you! CUSTOMER SERVICE ----- NOT!!!! Technician Repairs --- NOT!!!!I finally called AHS back and requested that this company never step a foot inside my home again. My Daughters washer was broken since march 24th, 2018, they came out 5 times to fix the washer, never fixed it. They always had the wrong parts or ordered the wrong parts, come to find out the tech was ordering parts for a samsung instead of LG. Personal information was disclosed to my daughter about owner being sick, tech that was sent to her home was fired. So lets start off with we did our first warranty repair for our washer, no problem worked just fine. Then we called in about the dryer and the company Warrentec sent out A&R appliance repair same as the first time. They came dismantled the machine and said they needed to order a control panel cause that was bad and said they would call to schedule to install it. A week later I called for status of the part and the girl working the phones stated they were coming on Wednesday afternoon (we were never informed.) I told the girl that was fine someone would be at the hospital where we work. Then I called on Thursday because the dryer still was not working. The girl working the phones then stated that she could get a tech out Monday afternoon (mind you the first part already took forever our pet hospital was out of laundry) I complained and tried to get sooner but we just dealt with it in the end. Then the girl working that day gets a call from the tech and he says he inst coming that he has to order some coils. HOW DID HE KNOW WE NEEDED COILS ALL THE SUDDEN AND WHY WERE THEY NOT ORDERED THE FIRST TIME. So then when I get back from my sick leave today I called and clearly pointed that out to the girl at A&R appliance. She said she would call back. I then called warranty again and then waited hours and called her back. She finally called me back 5 hours later and said that the service tech did come out because how else would he know to order coils (thats what I wanted to know) Then she said that when he came back to order coils the manager told him not to and reported to warrentec on Monday. I asked her why and she said she was unable to tell me that and to call warrentec. WHY COULDNT SHE TELL ME THE REASON?? So I call Warrentec and they stated that A&R repair just reported in about a half hour prior to me calling them stating that they noticed we had a residential warranty instead of a commercial warranty. The doctor I work for was not offered a different option when being sold (YES WE ARE GETTING A REFUND) So A&R failed to come though and then to cover them selves told us we were liars (we have camera proof they never came) and that the situation has been handled since Monday. I had talked to Warrentec this morning and they didnt have the update till I called the second time and they said it had just been reported. They decided to cover themselves we would be the liar and thats cool. Clearly we dont need those kinds of people working on our machine. Then A&R stated that they wanted us to cover the cost of their people coming out for both machines and that we were responsible for pulling out the parts and giving them back to them (OF COURSE THE WARRANTY PEOPLE PUT A STOP TO THAT THANK GOODNESS)LIARS, CROOKS, AND I AM NOT THE ONLY REVIEW TO PROVE THAT THEY NEED TO FIGURE STUFF OUT.I still have a broken dryer at a busy animal hospital and We are going to have our staff leave on business hours when we need them to go to a laundromat. Worst customer service ever! I wouldnt even rate them a 1 star at all. My appointment was scheduled for a fridge repair Monday, April 18th. Tech came and inspected the fridge, he himself called the office to schedule for Another tech to come out for service repair that required welding. My appointment was first thing Tuesday morning, next day. Tuesday came... no show, no call from A&R. We called and they said that there was no appointment and there was a so called glitch in the system, theyll come Wednesday morning. Same!! No show, No call.. from A&R. All they said when we called to ask where is the technican is I dont Know. I have no answer And they will get someone here today! Even took my number so they can call from their personal mobile and keep me updated with their technician.. No updates calls were given. She even set another appointment for Thursday, for a just in case if they didnt make it out on Wednesday evening. Now its Thursday and my early morning appointment, no show or no call from A&R. When I called them they said they were still waiting on the part. I asked to talk to the person who orders/recieves the parts and left a message. He never called back - I left another message 2 days later - still no call. I called back and was put on hold numerous times (i was on hold over 1/2 hour) and still have not been able to talk with someone. Asked to talk to manager and had to leave a message...I have not been able to talk to someone to explain why the part is taking so long. I am amazed these guys are still in business....

This place is terrible! I called to repair my dishwasher on December 7, 2018 it’s now February 20 and it’s still not fixed, they didn’t show up for the appointment I had for today. They have ordered parts 3 times, then when they get the part, they can’t come to install it for another week😡

I will never use these people again. I called my home warranty to have my microwave repaired, the handle broke. They sent A&R to do the job. The very first thing their rep wanted when he arrived was a check for $75, my deductible. He looked at my microwave and confirmed what I told them on the phone, the handle was broken. I gave them the model and serial number when I called, and told them the problem. I figured they would have the handle when they arrived. He said they would have to order the handle, and he left.I never heard from them again. When I finally called them they told me that the repair wasnt covered because I didnt give them the handle. BUT HE DIDNT ASK FOR IT WHEN HE WAS AT MY HOME. I threw it away after he left. I asked for my $75 and they refused.

My warranty co. called them out March 1st. I had to call and schedule the appt because they never called me! They came out March 12th on a Saturday. Turns out they couldnt properly diagnose the fridge because it wasnt plugged in for at least 12hr prior to the appt. No one told me that when I scheduled the appt. but ok Ill except that excuse. You think they would come back out to properly diagnose it right! But since the coils and condenser were dirty they put in a work order to my warranty co to be able to clean them..? They came back out on March 29th to clean them. This time he said the fridge needed a part ordered and they would call to schedule when the parts came in. Today is April 12th and I just called to see when they are coming back out to finish the job, and the person who answered the phone says that in their records my refrigerator is down as completed. My fridge has been down for 43 days!!! This is the worst repair service Ive ever had, save yourself the frustration and call someone else!

I had them come out for a leak in my washing machine before and the could not even find the problem They changed 2 items out on my washing machine. They came out 4 times and said it was not leaking. The 4th time they came out the guy was here for only 5 minutes and just looked under it and said it was oil on the hose and not water. (Full of ****)I sat their 1 day and watched it wash 5 loads .When it got to the 5th load it started leaking.They said it was my faucets that were leaking. So my husband wh r n and got new faucets and hoses and that was not the problem.Called a&r repair about the same problem and the were so rude (Krista and the office boss)Seth was nice at first and I love my new appliances in my kitchen. But when he came out the 2nd time to replace the part in my washer he was on the phone the whole time talking about his personal life.So I called a&r repair and complained and Krista was really rude to me on the phone.So I continued to use the washing machine and it kept leaking so I called them back out and told them so they had to send BEA the senior tech out and was not very nice out all either.He told me to lift my washer up off the floor sitting on 2 legs against the wall and wash clothes tell u see it leaking again. U are not supposed to do that.My husband got onto him and was yelling at him and he now they wont service us anymore.So I had to call American home shield out to have another tech come out to fix the problem.Very bad customer service and I would not recommend this company to anybody.The boss lady told me to shut up and I was annoying and if I did not let her talk she was going to hang up on me.And Krista always puts u on hold and she talks about what is going on under her breath.

Just say no..my whirlpool ice maker stopped working..tech came out..he only tested the ice maker itself.it was getting power and didnt check anything else..he said the ice maker was bad..they came out replaced the ice maker $150 for the ice maker..$75 to install it..a few days later..no ice..I called them back different tech came..he said the optic sensor receiver was bad ..got an estimate..the sensor board would be $250 and about $80 to install it..A and R offered no compensation for my wasted $225 to replace my ice maker that wasnt broken that I already Paid..done with them..I ordered the part myself at less than half the cost and will install myself.dont use A and R.. incompetence ....

Wish there was a zero star option. They are on the list of appliance repair companies from our home warranty company. We had such a difficult time trying to get them to coordinate an appointment and wow the rude female that confirms appointments made me want to cancel them immediately. We did not have them work on our refrigerator because they were so rude!

Microwave has been down for a month, repair man fixed it. As soon as he left broke again. Had to reschedule another week to come look at it again. Appointment number 3 and after waiting half the day and 30 min before appointment they Cancel and reschedule for the next week. Ridiculouse place dont use at all!!!

This place is terrible he came and spent literally one minute and ordered a part. I had to wait 10 more days then we they finally came back he spent another one minute to install it and didn’t bother checking it. My washing machine is still broke I called them back and they are so rude. I go through a home warranty I’m going to make sure they never send me through them again. I would give zero stars if I could.
