Soo good to be home. For the newcomer, it is an amazing place with good people. It becomes family. Its a great place for families to work-out together or by yourself. I hope to see you there.
Our whole family goes here! This is great place to learn traditional Shotokan karate and self defense! Rates are reasonable and training is unlimited for a flat family rate fee.
Best dojo in town.
I have been going here for over 2 years and love it. The instructors well take their time to teach you the right way along with giving you a great workout.
This is a true Shotokan school. Not sure why more students havent reviewed it, but the instructors are all high quality and certified by Shotokan Karate International Federation. This is a family friendly environment, but they do teach effective self defense fighting techniques, and full contact sparring is a norm here. You will find no better rates for training, as they have individual and family memberships that come with unlimited classes. Essentially you can train 6 days a week here, with your children if you have them, for I believe 124 dollars a month; individual memberships are less than 70 dollars last I remember. They sell materials you need at an affordable price, such as your uniform and patch. The school maintains its integrity to the art of Shotokan as the instructors do not get paid, they all volunteer because they love the art. They do not milk students for money, with practices seen at other dojos such as all these tests for rank, where you have like 10 different belt colors and they all have degrees you gotta earn. So you end up going through like 30 ranks, then you get your black belt. You gotta truly earn your black belt here, you cant simply buy it. As far as I understand, the black belt is actually tested for and awarded by the instructors that come here from Japan about once a year, not by our two Senseis. Please stop by if you are interested in learning a true form of karate. I think our sensei still offers a trial period where you can take a few classes for free to see if you like it, as it is hard to master this stuff, and isnt for everyone. Oss!
Excelellent Traditional Shotokan Karate.
