I became fully vaccinated over two weeks ago and decided to resume things, like going to the dentist, that I had deferred because of the pandemic. Grace, my regular hygienist, performed my first cleaning in over a year. She did an excellent job as usual. The office maintains safe COVID processes and procedures.I started with Fremont Cosmetic Dentistry about 20 years ago after I had not gone to a dentist for about 7-8 years. My teeth and gums were is serious need of cleaning and rejuvenation. They made a plan to restore the health of my teeth and gums over several years which worked!The staff and dentists are friendly, professional and super efficient. I havent received bad advice from them in 20 years and do not regret any procedure that they have recommended.One of my favorite things is that they can make a crown for you while you wait! No need for a temporary crown, fitting the final crown, making final adjustments, etc over a period of weeks. After the initial assessment, the appointment to make and install the crown takes about two hours.I highly recommend this office for routine work or specific procedures.

Superb experience from beginning to end. I have been going here for the last year and have to say the staff is outstanding. I was recommended by a few family members who have had them perform emergency operations as well as routine cleanings. They have been tremendously accommodating with my continuously changing schedule.I will continue to refer friends and family!

I called to reschedule my appointment that was made for me about days ago. I had a family emergency and couldnt go to my appointment. However, I called around 8am to reschedule it while my appointment was at 12pm. The front desk girl was really rude and she stated that we will charge me a fee for rescheduling my appointment? Apparently they have a policy to cancel your appointment 48 hours in advance. They need to be considerate of peoples situation. This is the second time I had bad experience at this place. Last time they charged me over $300 for filling 2 cavities while I have good delta insurance. The worse part was that they didnt even tell me about the charge before they filled my cavities. I just received a bill out of no where. So yeah, Ill never go to this place again! Horrible customer service and they charge you out of pocket as much as they can!

The best staff. They work well with people who are afraid of the dentist, like me. They are calm, funny, and easy going. Love being at the office, that I actually dont avoid the dentist anymore.

We have been patients at FCD for over a decade now, and are so happy to have found them. Their entire office is personable and warm, and the dentists and hygienists really do make going to the dentist a more enjoyable experience. The best part about them is how kid-friendly they are; they always put our toddlers and young children at ease while in the dentist’s chair. We highly recommend Fremont Cosmetic Dentistry.

I was visiting family in the area and needed a cleaning, and I was referred to this office. It was a great environment with very friendly staff. The dentists are very knowledgeable and easy going. I would recommend them to anyone around the area with dental needs.

My whole family comes to Fremont cosmetic dentistry. We are greeted with smiles, the rooms are clean and always smell so good (weird for a dental office, right??) We have seen all three doctors since being patients here and have been treated very well by each of them. We have had not only our routine cleanings, but my husband has had an implant placed, and some fillings as well. My oldest son has had a filling and even though he was nervous he always comes out with a smile on his face. The procedures are explained thoroughly and they seem to always make enough time to answer questions!I have always noticed their amazingly clean office but I should note the new protocols for COVID that they have in place make me feel very safe not only for myself but for my entire family.Also, parking is easy!

It was great being able to get it all done in one visit since they can make the crown while you wait...no making a mold, getting a temporary and then having to come back for another appointment. This practice is wonderful. Both Dr. Selway and Dr. C are great. We moved initially with our young child who had a bad experience with a non-pediatric dentist. He was initially hysterical, but they built trust with him to the point that now hes calm and looks forward to visit. We moved the rest of the family there, too. Theyre professional, kind, knowledgeable. We have had a wonderful experience.

Been going here twice a year for 24+ years. Never had any problem. They are open to changing appointments around when work gets in the way. Getting Invisalign now, Frank is awesome.

Dentist offices were clean, staff very friendly, and the workmanship was great. Received my first implant and its been a year and still doing great.

No longer do you have to get a temporary cap. They make them expertly right in the office. In addition to that, they make nightguards in a matter of minutes.About twenty-four years ago, a friend told me about this wonderful dentistry office. She talked about how the hygienists measure the pockets every time she came in for a thorough cleaning. If youve ever had periodontal disease, this is very important. Actually, the girls did so well, I stopped going to my periodontist years ago. This office actually does a better job than the periodontal office. Today, though I live hours away, I continue to come. I just dont feel others do the job good enough.5/12/16 So I drove yesterday, and needed a lot of work. Since I have arthritis in my neck I asked for a pillow. She gave me a large pillow, and I asked for a smaller one, then I asked for a towel to roll, then i asked for two towels to roll. Um ..... Im embarrassed, she was right. I needed the big one which she was willing to give back to me and I have no pain today. Yea!Why do I think I know best? They sure put up with a lot.They are also willing to respond to my corny jokes. Love them!Um -- in addition to putting up with old geezers like me, they have patients who are kids. Did I mention that Dr. S has seven of his own?Love these guys!

I love going to the dentist these days - everyone in this office is professional, friendly and helpful. I especially appreciate that they are so good with my kids. I often make appointments so that my three young children and I all come in at once for our cleanings. I never have to worry that my kids will be uneasy or unsupervised - they receive compassionate treatment and excellent dental care.I also really appreciate that Dr. Selway is so patient with me. I am OCD and have very specific concerns about my teeth. When Ive had to have any fillings, I need for the new material to be perfectly smoothed and aligned so that I cant feel a major change in my mouth. He is very good about letting me test a new filling out and then going back in to smooth things out over and over again until I am completely satisfied.

Dr Selway is amazing with kids! My 7 year old daughter had an abscess and was in considerable pain and Dr Selway fixed her tooth and was so gentle with her explaining each step as he went about his work!! She had such a great experience and loves the dentist thanks to Dr Selway!!

My parents brought me to Dr McCormick when we moved to Fremont from San Leandro. What a pleasant change! Comfortable chairs, personable dental hygienists,clean office, modern technology. Brought my husband into the office after we got married. He really liked the improvement over his former dentist. Our children were not afraid to go to the dentist. Dr. McCormick has been my dentist for over 40 years and I have confidence Dr.Selway will continue in Dr. McCormicks footsteps for the next 40 years.

I liked dr. McComic and been his pt for several years.Since he is half retired and sold his practice to dr. Selway, I become his pt.Im very disappointed with his service and questioning his integrity after I become his pt.First, I want to order a night guard for night time.He recommended a type of Invisalign for night guard, told it works as well as night guard. Since I trust his word because his my dentist, I agreed to order one. (More than $500.00)It wasnt doing much good and my upper one broken less than a year. I went to him and his assistant is asking me why I order Invisalign type instead of night guard, I told her because my dentist recommend that one. I heard them argue in the other room. After awhile, he agreed that he will replace it for me free of charge, which broken again less than a year again.Next my annual appt, my dental hygienist told me my teeth are really healthy and Ive been care it well.Dr. Selway came in and saw my X-ray and told me otherwise and I have to do dental procedure. I can see my dental hygienist upset and she walked out of the room.I dont think dr. Selway is care for pt much but looking for profit only. I do not recommend his practice to anyone.
