I used Jinos services to file 2019 taxes. Just like another reviewer said, he rushed through it in a hurry and i got a similar late charge fee from the government post filing. Id reached out yesterday for his help to file for 2020 and in a tone quite rude, he basically said i should find someone else. Beware people. Do not use this persons services. He is both rude and uncaring towards customers.
Beware of this guy. He claims to have 25 years of service, but I bet those years have been below standard. He may be qualified to perform TurboTax and that is about as far as his scope extends. He did our 2019 taxes, turned out we owe thousands of dollars and we havent received a copy of our filings. After repeated calls and emails, crickets. This smells fishy, certainly not to CPA standards.
I have been going to Jino Joseph for 4 years and its been one of the best decisions Ive made. He takes his time, knows his business very well. I have referred him to friends. If youre looking to get the Best Tax service go to Jino Joseph
BEWARE of Jino. While he may seem like a very capable accountant, he has the tendency to speed through your filing which ultimately ended in a mistake with our bank account information, being off by one-digit, and payment not being made when scheduled. We also did not receive our refund when expected, due to the bank account error. When we tried contacting him when we saw that payment wasnt made he told us to pay the taxes directly through the IRS website, something that we assumed was taken care of with our $350 fee he charged us. Fast forward a month later and we now received a letter from the IRS, not something particularly fun to receive, telling us that payment wasnt made and that a late fee (interest) was being assessed. I called Jino immediately and explained the situation to him and he again nonchalantly said just print out and mail in proof that you made the payment on time and everything should be fine.I held back from the previous month when he made the error confronting him about the matter, as it seemed like we had an easy fix, but during this last conversation he made no acknowledgement until I brought it up that he made a mistake. The problem here is that he made a mistake on a numbers portion of our taxes, un-related to the actual taxes (that we know of) but still a numbers error nonetheless. When I brought this up to him, he gave me a speech about human error and that people make mistakes. I then asked him if he acknowledged his mistake made, to which he said yes. And then he asked what else he can do at this point. For me trying to salvage any type of relationship with him, as it was teetering in the balance after such a significant and inconveniencing mistake, hed at least be able to swallow his pride and apologize. He couldnt even do that. I asked him straight up are you man enough to apologize for making a mistake with our taxes? and he said no - go find yourself another accountant and hung up on me.Like I said at the beginning, while it seemed like he was fully competent in doing our taxes, which Im hoping he was (fingers crossed), he is clearly not the type of person who is professional enough to apologize for making a mistake nor try to make it better.
Great Service!!
