I understand this time is confusing for everyone. My husband and I went to do our laundry and forgot to grab our masks on the way in. Our hands were full so we set our stuff down and were going to run back out and grab them. Im sure this has happened to EVERYONE at some point. Well my husband runs out to grab them and I tried to stay with our stuff because theyre super busy. The manager or whoever she is comes storming over and yells that I need to have a mask on. I said I heard her the first time and my husband is grabbing them. She then proceeds to yell louder and point at the door telling me I need to step outside. I reach for my bin because I didnt want to leave it unattended and she screams even louder to get out, repeatedly. I took off outside and my husband finished laundry without me. Under no circumstances is it okay to treat people this way. I was listening. I was just trying to grab my bins. It was so rude and uncalled for. We will never be doing laundry here again.

Great location, great prices, clean facility,no wifi, no masks, locked bathrooms w/no mirrors, short hours.feels like Im in the ghetto of Chicago*they have a Wi-Fi network available that is password protected but their excuse for not allowing people to connect to the Network is because they dont have security.they must have a bad IT person.

One of the better laundromats that Ive been to. Clean and up to date machines. Youll need to load money onto a card. The card costs $1 and if youre not a regular here, what remains will probably go to waste.

Place was clean and laundry came out fresh and clean. Im not a fan of the fact that they use a reloadable card to pay for everything but I understand it. They have a drop off service that I have used in the past with no issues. They charge by weight for wash, dry and fold. My only complaint was the staff. There was a shift change why I was there and the lady that came in was very rude. When she saw me taking pictures for Google to show that the place was clean and tidy she threw an attitude asking why I was taking pictures. I politely told her it was for google she started saying Oh ya, so you can complain, thats all that thays for she treated me with disrespect the rest of the time I was there. This is not the first time she has been rude to me. If not for her I would have given 5 stars.

My mistake I know, I left my mask at home, was running late, the lady tonight wouldnt even let me start a load and run back to get mask. A bit frustrated.

Jill is professional and friendly as always. Cleanliness overall appears to be a priority no matter what time you are in the building. Some dryers were down last time I went in there, but they are fixed now; so it seems it was a short turn around in getting machines operational again. Id happily return there.

This place has been rude since day one id never go back there nor would I ever recommend it the management there is a joke. And super unprofessional always starting something with the customers there trying to do there laundry if I could give lower star I would.

Im really surprised the owners tolerate how rude their manager is. If I owned this laundromat, she would of been fired long ago. People have complained about the manager for years. Since Freeport only has 2 laundromats, we dont have much of a choice to stop going here. Please replace that woman!

Very rude, the manager a Caucasian obese lady, yelled at another customers daughter called her lazy and was rude to every other person that walked thru the door take your money else where.

I havent been here for a while because the dryers are a joke. Usually at least half of them were out of order and the ones supposedly working didnt work worth a damn. Waste of money

I first went to Freeport Laundry in May 2018 when our long-time washer of 24 + years finally quit. How sad it was! I wanted a perpetual washer but it refused!After a few months of going there while also shopping for the perfect new washer and dryer, we decided to do that remodeling job we had talked about for years - adding the extra bathroom in our laundry room. This extended our project from a few months to 2 years!Currently, I have now been there 90 times or more. Coming that often gave me a chance to interact with the staff and see them in action. Grant you, no one is perfect but I saw a consistent demonstration of staff being friendly, helpful, courteous and professional toward customers.The place was clean, well-maintained and given appropriate oversight- an increasing challenge as we entered the covid-19 pandemic. I always felt safe there and knew there would be someone to help me if needed.A big plus was that in about 2 hours I could get my four to five loads of laundry washed and dried and be back home.Who knows? If I get tired of spending the majority of my day with my new lone washer and dryer (soon to be delivered, I hope), I may be back!Meanwhile, if you find yourself without these great but complicated modern devices, check out Freeport Laundry. I believe youll be glad you did!

They rip you off cause they know theres only two laundry mats in Freeport so my suggestion is to buy a cloths line and cloths clips and washboard then hang dry your laundry. If you live in apartments in Freeport your safe. If you dont try laundry this way. Most people have detergant and softner and a bathtub, right? I know its old fashion but its way cheaper. Learn how to do laundry this way. Its way more inexpensive...sorry free. The best part is youre not getting taken by a rip off.

Its a little more expensive than the alternative here in town but well worth it!

Clean place someone to help you on duty

I stopped in today to have a queen comforter cleaned. I intended to do the drop off service, but at $15 for one queen comforter, I decided I would just use one of the large machines instead. I was asking the attendant a lot of questions because I own my own washer and dryer and dont have to use a laundromat except for large blankets. She sure was condescending and rude. I then took my blanket out of a washing machine and told her Id take my business elsewhere. Wow

This is a very clean laundry and orderly laundry. There is a attendant in place at all times and you will be told if you dont were a mask cause of Covid 19, over load the washers/dryers or let your kids run around misbehaving.Basically the only dirty laundry you will be bringing in is cloths!!!

Got my clothes clean!

Although the place is small, it is a great place to wash your clothes if you cant clean then at home. The staff was nice and friendly while I was there and helped as they were needed before they were even asked for help. It was definitely a pleasant experience.

The owner is extremely nice and makes sure the place is clean and in working order. The staff are friendly also.

Manager Beth was rude and informed us at 6:10pm that we had to have our laundry going by 6:30 and when I asked if card loader accepted check cards couldnt be bothered to answer question. Overhead her telling another employee to be rude to customers at 7:30 And tell them to get out. I have been a customer since it opened and this is the first time someone has been rude to us.

It opens up at 7 am. But not today6-18-19. Poor Poor Service. Get people here to work.Worker showed up at 7:50 said her baby sitter canceled at last minute. Then as I already started my bed spreads she said she had to take her somewhere, she found some one to watch her kid. In 2 minutes while she opened the store. She left me alone in store to take her kid to daycare. Not good.

Kind of Expensive, but clean! Basically 50 cents for 10 minutes of dry time. The big washers are a better bargain, can fit about 3 loads worth in one machine. Nice facility, they have changed ownership too many times to count. They also have a drop off service here you can pay them to wash and told your laundry. The manager Beth is very rude sometimes, and has no patience for children. I Only come here because its closer to my house than the one downtown, but that one is much more affordable and kid friendly. This place used to be a lot busier, but not many can afford the high priced machines now!

I would give 5 stars. But the 2 times I went there allot of the machines were not working. But it is a nice quit and clean place to go.

When I always come in here everyone is nice and friendly. My clothes didnt finish drying and the help me moved to a new washer and finished it for free. Ask them for anything you need help with. Thanks for the help.

This place is ran by rude crooks. I wouldnt recommend anyone go here, the attendant is very rude, aggressive, and just dont have a clue on how to treat customers. Then it all added up when I found out most the machines wasnt working. I enlightened this woman on how her behavior was rude, unprofessional, and out of pocket ! Then she called the cops on me, lied and said i threatened her, when the cops arrived she was very nonchalant with the cops and didnt want to give any detail because there wasnt any. The cops had me pull my wet clothes out of the washers and escorted me out without drying. Under no circumstances do not do businesses with these ignorant individuals.

I hate going to the laundromat, however, the staff here makes that less painful for me. They have always been extremely kind and helpful.

Worst laundromat to go to in this city. very rude attendants, machines never work, changes operations very frequently without posting any signage of changes or direction and they will hold YOU responsible. called to complain to manager and she was very rude as well basically laughed in my face. and worst of all they require a deposit and a card JUST to do laundry. tell me what laundromat doesnt give change? save yourselves the time and money.

Nothing ever works, the staff is rude. And since when does an adult over 21 have to be with a minor to do laundry. Dumbest thing I ever heard of. The lady will call the police on a 16 year old child for doing chores.

Horrible know it all mouthy owner. Just came back to town and heard from several people how mouthy she is. She dont even know her machines have directions on them and argued with me about what they said. Half the big washers dont work.This was a nice place to do laundry but apparently poor mouthy manager ruins it. Does she really try and correct everyones grammer? Im not saying anything everyone else dont already know, look at all the 1 star reviews.
