Our first time fishing with Capt Lou …the mates onboard were very attentive & professional. Mike for his age is definitely mature - his knowledge of fishing is extensive and he attended to us; we appreciated that very much. We had so much fun fishing and felt we belong on that trip. We’re looking fwd to the next trip. Highly recommend this place for rookies & professionals - the mates work on tips so be sure to tip them well for they’re worth it!!

The crew on this boat was fantastic. They were there every time we caught a fish and had a snag. I can’t say enough about these guys. The bathrooms were clean my wife said.I had the best time on this boat. The captain took us to spots where we caught a lot of fish. We couldn’t keep up. Some people had so many fish. We had nine. Wonderful experience.

I would recommend them for anyone wanting to spot seals. They have a naturalist on board to answer all your questions. They know where the seals hang out and are experts at spotting them. Reasonable prices also. Make sure to dress warm as it does get cold and can be windy. They have an indoor area if you want to get out of the wind and buy a little snack. All the staff were very friendly and polite.

The crew makes the boat. Justin, Chris and the team do a great job making sure everyone’s well taken care of. We had a pretty busy boat because it was the final day of the fluke season and lines were getting tangled with one another all day. There wasn’t a mistake they couldn’t fix and they made the day an enjoyable experience. Highly recommend this boat.

Loved it! My oldest son (11) had already taken a trip with his class a few months ago and had good things to say and I wasnt disappointed when i went with him and my youngest. The crew were knowledgeable and helpful. Between us we caught only four but had to throw three back due to the sizes but it was fun nonetheless. Would definitely recommend and would love to go again!

We were visiting family and this was a perfect activity for seeing Long Island and having a great afternoon on the water together. We caught plenty of fish (mostly sea bass and fluke) but had to throw most of them back due to size restrictions. The boys working the ship were hilarious and one of the best parts of the trip. 10 out of 10 recommend.

Highly recommend, captain definitely keeps you on the fish. Even on a slower day get to pick away at em. Mates are great as well!

I thought the crew did their best to accommodate any newcomers such as myself. My goodness the short order cook made a satisfying egg, sausage and cheese breakfast sandwich which was also a great way to start the day! I would have come home with a bucket of shorties, but all just under regulation. So sad!

The boat was clean, the mates were excellent. They were right there when needed. I even told the friend who invited me Yo bro I think I found myself a new boat. See you soon guys.

Pete and I had an awesome time.The Captain put us on the fish the entire time for both days we fished on Captain Lou VII.Everything was top notch. The crew is on the ball. We really liked how the Captain communicated with the entire boat.We had keeper fluke on our first day even though the conditions werent the best.The second day we caught at least 40 throw backs each. We were on the fish the entire day. We did manage to get our limits on seabass.We drive 2 1/2 hrs to get there and would definitely go back even with an almost 4 hour drive home.I highly recommend fishing with the Captain Lou Fleet.

My partner and I (fishing novices!) Went on the 1/2 day fluke trip and had a ball. We will probably enjoy this outing at least several times a year. The staff was awesome. Several young men and kids help with the baiting and instruction. Theyre knowledgeable young gentlemen with excellent attitudes! The captain took us to several spots in the ocean to try our luck. First time on a Lou for fireworks, although we live a few blocks.We were a party of 8, including a 2 yr old. Worth the price!Atlantic Pearl was very clean. It did not smell of fish.Crew was friendly and thoughtful knowing we had a toddler.The captain inform us of where he was going and when to expectchoppy water. He took us the best location for the fireworks.It was VERY beautiful and I highly recommend the crew.Take a sweater, & comfy shoes. You will enjoy the view.

Went out twice this week on Captain Lou’s boats had a great time- they will def get you on top of the fish and they are very knowledgeble and friendly-

These guys are amazing took my third cruise, this one for whale watching and we were unfortunate that we didnt see any, mind you these guys have a very high success rate. And they went above and beyond to try to find whales following every bait bubble in the water and even spending another 1/2 hour of fuel. This guys are super polite and thoughtful. Highly recommend.

WOW!!! The boat barely had 20 fisherman on board and Capt. Lou still took us out 18 miles to fish. As soon as the lines were dropped the bite was on. Caught 30 Sea Bass Porgy mix between my son and I. The price was very reasonable compared to other boats charging more and you fish with rubber lures and catch nothing

I had a wonderful time. I hadn’t been fishing in years and I brought my grandson and grandnephew who had never gone fishing before. The staff were incredibly helpful in helping is rig our lines and untangling them. The staff were friendly and courteous.

Ive been coming on this boat since a youthful age of 4, Im 26 now. This is where my fishing passion started and I could not be more thankful for that. Captain puts in 110% to go above and beyond to make sure everyone has the best chance of catching fish they possibly can. Bring your family, bring your friends, light a spark in someones heart to love fishing like what happened to me. I highly recommend this boat. In addition, the crew is phenomenal and the boat if very comfortable.

The weather was pretty bad and all crew members made this trip INCREDIBLE. We had my two young kids with us and we felt safe the whole time. The crew made every effort to help my kids catch fish and just enjoy the ride. Amazing!!!!

The captain knew the best fishing spots for Black Sea bass and we were catching fish all day. The ride was smooth and as comfortable as a party boat could be. The mates were fast to help and untangle lines and remove stubborn fish from the hooks. Overall, a pleasure to be on this fishing trip early in the season. Will be coming back again this season for more!!

It was my 9 year olds first time out. He had a great day!! Brought home a nice sea bass which was cleaned for him. The whole crew was totally professional but Anthony stood out, so friendly and helpful. He was great with the kids!! We will have back for another trip!!

We had an awesome time even with the rain. The deck hands were awesome, especially Chris who absolutely went out of his way to help us even when my friend would not touch the bait and was always very cheerful. We would definitely go again, we had a great time.

I was extremely disappointed with the trip I took on 7/31/21. There was absolutely no communication by the captain with the passengers. Ive been on this boat twice already and normally the captain and crew are great. We did not see any whales, which certainly isnt anyones fault, however, the captain seemed to fly through the water and barely slowed down before turning around. At no point did he say that he was searching, but struggling to find any whales. A little communication goes a long way! I was a group of 9 people and felt taken advantage of with the money we paid. We also overhead a conversation between crew members that 1 was quitting because of the captain. Finally, as we pulled up to the doc, the captain yelled to a crew member get these 2 clowns off the doc. It seemed very unprofessional and I will not be using them again. Very disappointing all around.

My first time on this boat and let me say that we had a blast. The Captain put us on top of the fish and the rest is history! All of the mates were present and ready to assist everyone. I will see you again on the 3rd of September.

Had a great time last Saturday 7am -1pm fluke fishing. Unfortunately the water is still too cold so mostly shorts were caught. But the Captain did move the boat in search of the keepersMates were very attentive and friendly. I highly recommend this boat.

My girlfriend and I went for a half-day of fluke on Wednesday the eighth of August. From a soon as we stepped foot on the boat the crew was professional and experienced and they directed us to our location to fish for the afternoon. One of the workers there was a young lady and also had her children working with Captain Mole I was very impressed with their experience at such a young age.Whenever we caught a fish the mates were right there to help take them off the hook and if we ever got tangled they worked their magic within seconds. I grew up fishing on Long Island but have since moved out of state. I came back to visit, and of course, had to do some fishing. Tons of action and the mates were amazing. It was better than I remembered it from the past.

Fantastic half day on the water. The 4 hour trip consists of an hour ride way out where no other boats are then 2 hours of fluke/seabass fishing then an hour ride back. We hooked tons of seabass and not so many fluke but we were always on the fish. The mates are always right there to help with anything needed and are really good guys. Well definitely be back!

Captain was knowledgeable took us to several sites everyone caught keeper fish. The crew was attentive. Wish they had coffee it was raining and cold. Otherwise the trip was a 10

Went with my 11 year old son the Saturday of Memorial Day weekend 2021. Weather was horrible, but the crew did an outstanding job giving us a great experience. The boat was clean and comfortable. When we reached out fishing destination, the crew on board knew my son and I were inexperienced fishermen. They were very attentive anytime we got seaweed on our fishing lines or lost our bait. They also gave us the freedom to learn on our own and get better as the day progressed. They were super attentive anytime anyone on our boat caught a fish. I will definitely be a repeat customer next time I go fishing.

Worst boat ride! I never experienced a rough boat. Captain drove 2 hours out and the water was so rough. Barely fish the trip. Most of the people got sea sick.

The staff were very friendly with our group. Some of us were new to fishing and they helped us by providing instructions and watched us learn the techniques. Very jovial and a casual team. Made us feel comfortable through out the cruise.

Friendly crew especially for us beginners and plenty of crew on board considering we had a pretty full boat. On a fluke trip but caught and kept a few sea bass for the grill. Looking forward to going back.Takes about an hour to get out to sea and we kept bouncing around different spots.

Although on this trip I just caught alot of shorts others around me caught a variety of nice fish..that is how it goes sometimes. The crew worked hard to give everyone their best chance, fixing tangles, dehooking fish and assisting with rigging. A nice head boat for both the in-experienced and the experienced fisher.

My family and I have fished on the Captain Lou twice now and both experiences were both excellent. The mates are attentive and courteous and the Captain does his best to get us to good fishing spots. Our most recent trip was cold and rainy. With 40 minutes left on the trip, the weather got a lot worse. The Captain asked the passengers if it was okay if we turned back early and they would give us a coupon for half-price on a future trip. The weather was not their fault but it was really nice to offer that for their passengers. We will definitely be going again !

By far the best customer service trip been on in years. .....fish on they were there. Empty hook you didnt even finish realling up they were there....in between drops they were cleaning and always 1 step ahead for the next drop with set ups.....def going back here. Truely was a relaxing fishing trip!!!

Went seal watching with the family. Saw plenty of seals, but was advised everyday is different with seal sighting. Staff was friendly and there are snacks to buy on board. Cant wait to try another trip with them

Little early for keeper fluke, but the Captain, Ken and Justin made the trip enjoyable. Have been going on the Starstream for years and the entire crew is always ready to help. Highly recommend the Capt Lou Fleet . Great bunch of people.

The staff were very helpful with the fishing But the space between the benches and the boat rail was SO narrow (less than a foot in some places) that it was uncomfortable to sit/stand as people would be pressed against you or in your face every time they got up. I was especially disappointed that there were so many people smoking on the boat, as I had been under the impression that smoking was not allowed.

Trip was ok, until the engine broke down, the issue we had was not so bad, except the crew made no announcement for over 1 hour, if they updated everyone it would make people feel and be more understandable, everyone was guessing, we stop to whale watching, to we ran out of gas, to we are going to be towed, could have been handled better.

Fished the back creeks most of the day. It was wind against tide but the capt adjusted the angle of the boat to get us a bit of a drift we were on fish at every drop. Great crew and great capt.

Going fishing is kind of luck to catch something according to the permissions, I been and the afternoon time and we get only smaller sizes, just one person catch 1 fluke over 18 inches. They didnt want to switch the bait, Only bait for fluke, Im sure we could be happy if we catch some parties and black bass, good luck for you when you try.

Crew is very helpful, can bring your own food and drinks which is awesome. The captain tries his best to make sure you catch fish. They take you deep out rather than stay near land like other companies do. Great experience and will go again.

It was my first time on the boat with captain Lou, he knew the spots where the fishes were biting. Although I was sea sick and water was a bit rough, I still managed to go home with 5 fish!
