Very good place to get your wooly exterior cut down to civilized standards, no matter your age.Hard to get a bad barber, and Lynn is one of the best.Prices very reasonable with free membership card.Sometimes the floor isnt the cleanest, but seems better now with COVID protocols, which they seem to follow as best they can in a personal-service business.

Levar is not only a stand up guy, but hes also a phenomenal barber. I came here after getting my big chop done after transitioning back to my natural hair from doing relaxers for a majority of my life. Thankfully a family friend recommended I see Levar regardless that I was female and he had actually let me know that damage was done during the big chop. Since then (over a year ago) Ive gone to Levar for my monthly cut and my hair has never been healthier!!And aside from haircuts he is a huge supporter of local kids and athletic associations. Im a local athletic trainer and supplies has ran behind due to the virus. Out of the kindness of his heart, Levar gave me a pack of face masks to make sure I had extras for my athletes who needed them!12/10 will always recommend this spot, no matter how far away!

Today I recieved a haircut at Trimz Barber Shop. The shop was extremely clean staff very professional. Barber Levar was on time and very attentive to every detail concerning my haircut. I would highly recommend this shop.

Did some research and decided to stop in and see what would happen. It was quiet at first but acknowledged me when I entered and signed me in shortly after. Had the pleasure of David lining up my beard. He was directed and asked me each step of the way what i wanted. It was a quick affair and reasonable priced.

An appointment is scared. They are ready for you the minute you show up!. I take my boys there regularly. It is neat, clean and the barbers are good all of them! And they are community oriented and black owned. Highly recommended!

I can say I travel enough to know certain places you have to do a little research on before going. This is hands down the best barbershop Ive been to on the road. Obviously the cut was good but the service and environment sold me before I even sat in the chair. Even as a walk in, I was in and out with time to spare. I would highly recommend this place to anyone within the area if you dont already know about it.

Were new to the area so I decided to get a haircut here, but before I went my brother had gone to this spot before and told me it was okay. He had gotten a haircut from a guy named David which he said was pretty good when I went in there and got my cut I literally waited about three minutes before I got to seat. I did not get David, I got another guy the haircut was so so, not what I was expecting from all the reviews. One thing that is crucial of a haircut is when you get your shape up or you line up, you got to get in there with a razor and some shaving cream which was not the case here they just use the trimmer shape me up okay but did not use a razor or shaving cream. Over all the haircuts are so so here, its a little weird when you go into this place you sit there and you get the next guy available, I dont think you can go in here and request for certain Barber which is the case in 99% of the barber shops Ive been to, I dont know if its a long island thing or what but Ive lived all my life in Queens and if I needed to see a certain Barber, Id just wait for the guy I dont think thats the case here.

This place hooked it up! I was in town visiting from Philly and needed a place to get my beard trimmed and my head shaved. Trimz worked their magic and my man gave my beard the best shape up its ever had. Im very pleased with the work they did and will definitely be returning for my next shape up. Check these guys out for sure!

Worst haircut!I went to another barbershop right after to get it fixed. More worried about getting to the next person than taking time to give a good cut.Didn’t edge up w shaving cream or brush the hair off your neck when the cut was done.

There are only 2 barbershops I use. Trimz gives you a great cut and GREAT customer service. Although its farther than my original shop, its worth the trip. Check out there online booking, and you can keep track of your receipts.

It was nice. Like, making an appointment is best but I dont like paying too much so I just walk in. And theyre pretty fast so its whatever.

All the guys know how to cut and are are conversant with the latest hair styling. I recommend them.

My dude Sunny blessed me with the the crispest fade. I was coming off a traumatically bad haircut experience, and he gave me exactly what I asked for.Plus, whenever Im out in the community at events benefitting kids, I ALWAYS see the Trimz chair there. Any business that gives back to their community this much deserves your business.

What more can I say about this place, then I recieved the best haircut Ive ever had! I would describe this place as very professional with a hometown feel. As someone who doesnt have two hours to spend in a barbershop. I love the fact that you can make APPOINTMENTS. Even though I live out of town now. Seems like they do good cutz there but i guess u need an appointment, i came without it, waited more than am hour and was ignored. Other people was coming in and got their work done, i think i should of gone in between one of them. Noone knows if you made an appointment or not, it could be managed a bit differently.I left. And i am sure they did not care. Hehe. They are pretty busy thereso the Moral of the story is to Make an appointment and come on time, it seems like it will work since it didnt for me as a walk in🤥😉

Cool laid back staff with DECENT cuts!

We were referred by a friend to visit Trimz and get the L Chopo (Levar) experience. We drove 1.5 hours and L Chopo did not disappoint. The shop was very nice and everyone was friendly. L Chopo did an amazing job cutting my sons hair and was very patient working with us in the creative process. Nice people and great quality of service / product. I would highly recommend Trimz! Trimz is for way more than trims. Whatever your desired look, Trimz will have you owning it - looking tight! Beyond that, Levar recently closed for a brief time to overhaul the look of the shop. And now, the shop looks almost as good as the clients when they leave... Its seriously stunning! The rebirth of the Freeport downtown has begun - with Trimz. So the rest of you businesses need to start catching up. During my first visit since the re-imagination of Trimz, Levar teamed-up with Dana to undue a tragedy that occurred to my hair during the re-design of Trimz. ... Honey, Im on my way home. LOOK OUT!
