Update: Received a call from Jeff shortly after this review and he called to apologize, explain that this was not their sales practice, would speak with his team, and even waived the charge for service. I was very happy with their quick resolution and also changed my review to 5 stars. Thanks to Jeff for getting back to me quickly and providing excellent customer service.---------------Summary: Negative experience with their sales team, which I believed was dishonest.We had them install a water system in our home. It was pricey but they did a good job selling and promoting the product and we have not had any issues with it. A year later, they gave us a service call to come out, check the system, see what products needed to be refilled, etc. They told me once they determined what needed to be replaced they would tell me the cost so I could decide whether or not to do it. While at my house today they called me 6 times in 20 minutes while I was tied up at work and then told me they completed their services and the charge would be $300. I asked what happened to telling me the price for me to authorize the work before performing the service, to which they said there was another service that wasnt needed today so I actually was not charged the full amount of the service, followed by well would you like us to take out everything we put in? The person on the phone didnt think he did anything wrong so this sounds like their normal business practice. Im very dissatisfied with their sales tactics and have since called them to be taken off of their recurring service call list.

I have been battling with my water softener since I purchased my house new 5 years ago. Jeff came out, identified the issue and had his team install the appropriate equipment that night. The difference in the quality of water was immediate. Everyone was extremely knowledgeable and very professional.

VA Environmental Resources did an outstanding job diagnosing our problem (hard water with sulfur odor) and recommending a top-notch water treatment system which included a chlorinator, filter, softener, and reverse osmosis filter. Jeff and his team, with Jeff Jr. and Dan, were always polite, completely professional, and exhibited a true passion for their work which is not always seen in the “trades” these days. Jeff was fully transparent with the costs of the system and didn’t disparage the other companies I received quotes from. My fiancé and I moved into our first home a few weeks ago. Upon moving in, we found out that the current water system we had was not working at all and a water test showed multiple traces of bacteria and acidity in our water. We were recommended to Jeff (Who is outstanding). Jeff came to our house the DAY after we closed and he had his best installer come to our house two days after to get our new system installed. Jeff broke down everything to my fiancé and I. He explained everything to us perfectly and answered any questions our family had. Jeff made sure our water was fresh and clean again all within a couple days of moving in. April was also amazing as she called my fiancé and I with any questions and kept us in the loop of everything happening. I dont normally write reviews, but this company is amazing and they keep their promises. We would without a doubt recommend them to anyone.

We highly recommend Virginia Environmental Resources due to their knowledgeable and responsive staff, their professional and meticulous installation, and patience with us while we learned as much as we could about our water and how their product would benefit us. After accepting a free water test opportunity, Jonathan visited us, again tested our water, explained their process, and we quickly realized that their system was definitely the one we wanted and needed! Since our water system was installed in late March, there has been a huge improvement in the quality of our water. It tastes wonderful, also removing the need to buy any more bottled water. We also now use less detergent, lotion, and do not miss all the water marks! Our coffee even tastes better. The fact that they follow up the first year to change filters for free is a plus, since there are always follow up questions, and it is nice to watch someone change the filters the first time.Since we do not like or agree with high-pressure sales, we were pleased at how they handled our skepticism. We purchased the whole-home system with a reverse osmosis system in our kitchen sink for drinking water. Our only recommendation is for them to explain up front why they re-test the water when they visit rather than focus on the free test results. Once they explained their reasoning, it made total sense. We are glad that we made this investment!

Excellent process all the way through from sales to service to follow up. We knew our water was bad, but had no idea how bad. Water marks are gone and it tastes better than we’d anticipated. It’s only been a week, but I am certain our appliances will last longer amongst many other benefits. Highly recommend!

I have heard A lot about water filter and alkaline water, but I have been skeptical about the counter top filter. I dont like the idea of having something on my counter because of kids pulling or pushing them down. When I heard about the filter from VER and the fact it will be out of touch zone, I was sold. My five star is for the extra taught of fimtering the whole house water. I hope that it will deliver on its promise eventually on clean alkaline water and long term use of 25 yrs. The years of use is mind blowing, but time shall tell. Ill sure come back for more review if all checks out great

My wife had been struggling with skin issues for quite a long time. Tim recommended that we consider a Hague water system to try and relieve her symptoms.Admittedly I was a little skeptical but he came over to test our water. The amount of chlorine in our water was insanely high! not to mention the amount of minerals and sediments in our water were absolutely disgusting. I truly appreciate that there was no pressure on us at all to buy the system but based on what we saw in our water, it was a no-brainer.We have the whole-home system with a reverse osmosis system in our kitchen sink specifically for drinking water. The cost of the system is paid for by the bottled water we are no longer buying as well as the fact that we are not using as much detergents and soaps. Our whole family has noticed a remarkable difference in how our skin feels, my wifes skin reactions have been greatly reduced. There is no hard water in our showers or any of our fixtures. We are extremely happy with this system and the awesome service we received from the VA Environmental Resources team!

Hague quality water, Virginia environmental resources is H20 perfect !!! They have exceeded my expectations as well as earned a trophy from me for being so kind, knowledgeable, genuine, homely, and skillful! That’s like 5 trophies!! 5 gold trophies that is!! This was our first time receiving a water system installation. We were in search of a good water quality system that would transition our iron, low ph, and sediment riddled water into pristine Greek derived ambrosia water. And sure enough, they did not disappoint.We had reached out to other companies that spent maybe 15 minutes with us, leaving us unsure and pining for more questions. And then an H20 water pirate super hero with Hague water quality of VA, Named Josh, sailed out to our home and anchored us with such knowledge and kindness that it changed our view of water companies. He stayed with us for as long as we needed and thoroughly explained the water system and it’s benefits. He is very attentive to detail. He answered the plague of questions we threw at him with no hitch. He invited us into the water world and we never looked back LOL. The set up was quick, efficient, and thorough. Jeff, the installation wizard, took time to show us the equipment and explain it . He should be called Gandolph the water installation wizard for his skill. He is a very hard worker and made sure to get the job done, even staying over time to make sure everything was running smoothly . I appreciate his attention to detail. He also is very patient and answers all the questions we have over the phone. We are the Frodo and Sam to his wise Gandolph. LOL We appreciate the hard work and kindness that came from everyone ! The water system has done wonders to our home . We can rest easy knowing, the soft ambrosia water is not causing erosion in our appliances such as the water heater, washing machine, and kitchen coffee pots LOL. Also our skin feels amazing. We can cook, clean without worrying about what’s in the water . No bacteria, no iron, no heavy metals, no run off. We are made up of 70 percent water and thus gives us a cascade of health. . Very happy with the customer service and representative that came down to introduce us to this water system. So far the quality of the water has been as demonstrated and we are very pleased. Water is very smooth compared to before, it is simply amazing! We are still awaiting the soaps; however, we will update on them when they arrive. I definitely recommend making this change in water systems, it is great for the house, you, and your family.

My family moved into our new build home Feb 2020. My skin and my daughters skin turned very dry. We had our water tested, and Josh came out to explain everything that Hague VER had to offer. My husband and I were already thinking about a water filter system, but we werent just looking for any system we were looking for a life change. I have been having trouble with my current water system, so I reached out to this company for a water test. The first person that I spoke to refused to do anything unless I was going to immediately replace my system.I filled out their contact form, thinking there was a miscommunication. I received another call today from an extremely rude man who kept talking over me, not letting me finish a sentence without him constantly saying hold on, hold on, hold on!ALL I WANTED WAS A WATER TEST, WHICH IS ADVERTISED ON THEIR SITE!They told me they will not touch anything unless it is their system. This company knows nothing about customer service. I would sooner drink from a stream than deal with these rude, abrasive people again.

The new water system that was installed has been excellent because the water quality has been increased. The sales person delivered on the promises made. I have had several homes with different water systems so my knowledge was rudimentary. The test I had in mind was how would the system be installed and what could the water do. The installation would require proper location, proper adhesion of the pipes along with proper cut of valves, tight seals between the pipes and tanks, testing of electronics, salt and products added. The test of water regarding cleaning would be test on spots I was unable to clean previously, being the microwave and the shower glass. The water, without cleaning products, was able to clean both surfaces. Another test was to be able to drink the water after my ice cubes melted. The water eliminated the foul after taste of the melting cubes which was even filtered by the refrigerator. Now I can drink that water and it tastes great. Unlike before, the water felt soft and almost soapy with no soap in the water. My skin tingled but now I am used to it. This has been the best water system I have had. I had to call about a smell inside the tank which they contacted me back immediately. The smell was the impurities filtered from my water and that made sense since my water used to smell when the ice cubes melted. I have had water in other houses come out smelling like iron and looking brown like rust so I have some experience with water. There were some other benefits mentioned by Jonathan such as improving skin conditions which I do not have. My wife does have skin problems and says it helped her. My point is that I am commenting on the things I have noticed. There are other things that my wife noticed but she will have to mention those. I am happy with the product and the service. I was surprised on how long the salt lasts as well because I have had other systems use it faster. This is a good product and VA Environmental Resources do deliver what they promised me.

I’d like to take a moment to share my experiences with Virginia Environmental Resources. I purchased a water softener system and reverse osmosis several months ago, and to say the change has been amazing, would be an understatement. From beginning to end the service has been wonderful. It was definitely “no pressure” sales, a lot of great information, and I was comfortable throughout the entire process. The install was great, and I felt I knew everything I needed to know when they left. The physical change is the most exciting…much softer hair and skin, less cleaning now that the hard water spots are gone, less cleaning products needed (especially laundry soap), and no more buying bottled water now that I have the reverse osmosis system in the kitchen. But, the best part for me…no more worry. I’m relieved to know exactly what I’m putting both in and on my body…pure, healthy, water. I second the poor sales approach. Information implied that there was a government affiliation. Understand that this door-to-door approach is sometimes valuable, however the misconception of being gov. affiliated was definitely a sales tactic.And I second the $6500 price tag.

Jonathan came to our home a few months back and was very friendly and informative. He talked to us about our water, showed us what is in our water and talked to us on how he can change all that. It didn’t take much for us to want the filtration system installed in our home. He didn’t push the system onto us at all we chose to buy it simply from the information he gave to us, and the demonstrations he preformed. You really can feel the difference. You can smell the difference you can even taste the difference. Our water was hard and caused calcium build up around all the sinks, animal water bowls, dishes out of a clean dishwasher, and stunk always. I was concerned about what my water heater would look like in a few years, along with all my appliances that use water. My first shower in the new water was amazing. It’s the best feeling to know that you are showering in the best possible water, washing your clothes in the best possible water, drinking and giving water to the animals with the best possible water. The water is high in alkalinity Which allows the water to be a great source for cleaning. the soap that we got was too. You can choose from different smells. It comes in small packets and bottles and you mix it with the purified water. The install guys were great too. They came out the very next day and discussed where we would like the unit to be installed. After that they preformed their magic and went over the install with me and showed how it works. We love the system and I recommend you getting one for your home, if you don’t believe me just have them come out and give you a demonstration.

They act like they are a government official and really cares about you! All they want is to take your $6500 dollars and keep telling that it won’t cost you nothing because you will safe on electric bills I do not trust them

I was shopping in the Fredericksburg, VA area for a water filtration system. I did the typical 3 bids before buying to make sure I was informed and educated before making a big decision on my families water. The first 2 better known companies came in and just pitched a price and did not seem interested in me or my family but I still went ahead with the third company and oh boy am I glad I did! Mr Jeff Booth (he insist we call him by first name, OK Jeff) was incredible! He took the time to talk to me, my husband and my 3 children, found out our needs and did a full demo on their product. I learned so much about my water (in terms we all understood) and was super impressed! His price was a little higher than the others but the Great always cost more! Our installation was a breeze and his head installer Lee was great! Jeff came back after the install to make sure everything was great and even tested our water to make sure of the clean water quality! He didnt need to even do that because I noticed the change almost immediately after the install. My hair is shiny, my skin is soft and my kids are asking to drink more water (OH YES!) Thank you Virginia Environmental Resources for being a class act and all you guys get an A++++ from us!

We got the system and it was installed within a few day. Let’s just say we LOVE our water system. Looking at using this company to correct your water in your home? 2 words from a wise old woman...DO IT! My husband and I were very concerned about our water here in Stafford County, 22554 that we decided to contact the top company we found in our google search results for water testing and purification. The representative that showed up was Jonathan Booth. As Jonathan explained in very fine detail our water test results, he did a through examination of the water with a portable lab he brought into our home the day we scheduled. I was very concerned with having a stranger into the home but within the first 15 minutes, my husband and I were having a phenomenal time with him. Looking back on why we didnt have this conditioning system done within the first year of owning our home is the only regret we have, understanding the hidden cost of hard water made us realize that owning this system pays for itself over and over again. Not only is the equipment outstanding, the warranty and service after its installed is top notch. The ph of our skin and hair has been completely corrected and balanced the way it should be. I do not use lotion or hair conditioner anymore since the heavy minerals and chemicals have been removed mechanically via the system. They were the root cause of the negative effects on our bodies. Its been about 3 months since the installation, 3 major changes right off the bat are of the following;1.) Cleaning has never been easier with just using the water and a disinfectant. (Love not using chemicals)2.) Our drinking water tastes great and no more buying bottled!!!!! There are so many businesses out there just to make money, make your numbers, sign the contract, and dont care about the customer. No relationship building which just poor ethics. I must admit Virginia Environmental Resources is now my staple icon organization that not only treats me family but has given my family more lives to live. We were promised the water conditioner system will get rid of orange water stain/ring and white powder stain from siting water but it does not.
