She not only scored in the top 90 percentile on the SAT after working with Lauren, she especially benefited from the tutoring she received for her admission essays. My daughter was accepted at Notre Dame, UVA, William and Mary, and received scholarships to George Washington University and the University of Alabama. She was initially deferred at the University of Chicago and waitlisted at University of Michigan and Emory University. We are big fans of their tutoring and test-prep services. We first sent our oldest son to Parrish for help with Algebra and Calculus four years ago and then again two years ago to help him prepare for the ACT. He is now at an elite liberal arts college. We currently send our youngest -- a 12-year-old -- for help with Algebra, and we just got his first 9-weeks grades -- an A. He would not have had an A without Parrish. I had my 16 year old son do some individual SAT/ACT prep with PLZ before he took his tests, knowing that he needed some work on his verbal and writing skills. His tutor was really helpful in showing him tips and tricks, and his vocabulary skills advanced tremendously in a short amount of time. Its hard to put into words how amazing PLZ and staff are! My son has been tutored there for several years. When he started he could not read and was well below grade level. I can say that he now can read, write and spell. As his mother I felt helpless! Nina has supported him and encourage us through the years. She always goes above and beyond.
