Good Morning, when my wife and I went to Micah on Friday I felt like no one was really there to help. The staff was so standoffish and was in a hurry to get me out of the building, I felt worse at that time than I feel actually being homeless, it was like they were dehumanized and needed to do something else for a while. I truly need to help to find housing, not to be insulted or disrespected. I prey that I do not need to go back there.P.S. They also had sandwiches and water that was not offered to us, how can you tell someone that you are homeless and have them not, at least, offer you a meal.

Great place to go when you homeless and need the basic necessities. Food clothes shower toiletries. They are very helpful if they cant help you they can point you in the direction of someone who can.

Not the volunteers, but the staff are unprofessional. They pick and choose who they want to help.

Ive known micah for few years and have learned there ways and how they function internally They are a religious group and that comes with a bias They favor the religious crowd and will shy away from assisting the nonreligious and have unnatural expectations for people to give back to the community and appreciate them for a service they are paid by the government to do. Micah pulls significant amounts of grant money from the government to house and provide care for the homeless in the area. But Micahs executive director lacks an ability to properly manage the money they receive from the government and the wealthy religious crowd that fund them leading to there need for people to give back. Micah facilitates career homelessness by year after year providing the people that choose to be homeless or the habitually homeless with free food, clothes and amenities with no push for them find jobs and nobody that can connect with them to find a better life.In my opinion Micah wastes taxpayers dollars and squanders the governments money and needs to learn to make money internally just like everybody else

Humilitys BadeWithin the prism of the snowA blade of grass began to growShimmering lights to still the greenWalls of brown to it unseenR. Kennedy 2015Written to Micah because they have many times been a blade of grass for me to step on; that propels me into the new. They did it with smiles, hugs, and great compassion. Then as I move forward they pop back up just like a blade of grass to serve the next. Thank you to all of those seen and unseen that participate in Micah no matter what form.... You are treasures to my soul. Bless you!

This place seems disorganized. I went in to inquire about volunteering since I have a degree in Human Services and had some fee time over the summer. No one seemed to know who to speak to, or how to get signed up to do it.

I was homeless for 3 years and kept getting the run around about me getting into housing. So i finally did it by myself with out there help. Becayse they like to have favoritism over people who have a social security check or have a disability. Which i find is very rude.
