Highly recommend, I havent had my vehicle serviced by this company but I called in to get insight on a issue im currently facing, the gentleman I spoke with on the phone laid everything out like the truck was in front of him. If someone has the knowledge to do that, then if they can physically get hands on with proper tools and equipment thats someone you can trust they know what they are doing.

The injector driver module took a dive on my old 7.3 on 7/2/20. These guys dropped what they were doing to come diagnose the issue and get me on the road fast. They treated me like family. Super fair pricing on work and parts. Certainly cannot get service like this in Northern Virginia. Not a nicer bunch of folks out there can’t thank them enough for all they did for me.

I brought my dodge in for a repair. I was told they wouldn’t get to it for a week. I called once a week after week 2 to see if they had a chance to look at it. After 5 weeks I decided to bring to complete diesel sine they weren’t sure when they’d be able to look at it. The first day at Complete Diesel, they Diagnosed and gave me an estimate for the repair. Impact diesel was highly recommended by friends. I’ve been told that the repairs are awesome. I just didn’t have the time to wait to determine this for myself. If time isn’t of the essence from what I’ve been told impact diesel would be very good. However if you don’t have time go to complete diesel. I could tell you the repair process is very good here. At complete diesel you get email updates of the status of your vehicle. Very different experience. I’m only stating the other vendor since I had no idea where to bring my diesel truck. If anyone else is looking for a good experience with diesels go there.

Impact diesel did headgaskets studs oil cooler water pump thermostats on my 6.4 and did a awesome job the truck was like a totally different truck when i got it back! Hands down the best diesel shop around. You would be a fool to take your truck anywhere else

They outright stole from me. Brought my truck there to have some work done and they fixed it but Jay called me and said while they took it for a test drive it starting gushing coolant and needed a new radiator. Trusting them, I told them to take care of it for $650.00. Two days later I pulled the front end apart to install a new aftermarket grille and found no new radiator. No signs at all of any hoses being touched or anything.My same old radiator filled with bugs and road pebbles. I am the kind of person that will help people out. I’m not rich and I know people might be hurting, but if they needed the money that bad I would have given it to them.

Brought in for a oil leak, never gave a estimate. I had to call to see what was going on and they said it was done and it was a little over $1000 dollars. I drove it 8 miles back to my shop and it was still leaking and had to take it back. Then they said it was a cover that was needed and it was another $177. I drove it 8 miles again and it leaked oil, thats when they started to get very rude. I took it back and they said it was residual oil that was leaking off. So I drove it to VA Beach and back and it was still leaking and now the check engine light was on. They took it apart and the said the front part of the oil pan was leaking, another $300 later, no phone call, I had to call and guess what, it was still leaking. So they said that the moto needed to be taken out and resealed, but they would not charge me labor, parts only. I asked them how long ? They said since he was doing it for free that it would be at least 3 weeks, keep in mind it was not for free I had already spent over $1500. While it was out the showed me that some one had Hacked out my EGR Delete Funny part was his face when I told him that they were the ones that did the delete at their old shop on Cool Springs Road. So 6 weeks later I get a text, not a call for me to call them. No they are blaming the leak on someone else, and that they would not stand behind it. I just told them to put it back together. I picked up my truck today and asked if it leaked and they said no, started the truck and the check engine light was on, Joey came out and cleared it and said he forgot to reset it after plugging in my EGR sensor, I drove it 8 miles again, this time no leaks, but the check engine light came on. I scanned my truck and it pulled up a EGR code. I popped my hood and say the connector had 4 wires bare and touching each other and another broken connector next to it. I sent them the photo and had one of my employees take the truck back, they cut two connectors off a used harness and handed it to him and told me to put them on myself. Needless to say, if you feel like getting Impacted in the backside take your truck there. If you want it fixed right take it somewhere else.

Not counting the day I dropped my truck off and the three Sundays since then it went like this. And I was told it would be a week or 10 days before I got it back. So Im not counting non work days. Day 9...havent gotten to it but it is the next vehicle in. Cool. Day 11....copy the above quote. That was cob Friday. Cool. Im thinking I should have it back Monday or Tuesday. Day 14. Call. Yup. Ditto the above quote. I went and picked it up.Kevin OConnor

I bought a truck with a 7.3L in it and previous owner left it in tow mode...IMPACT did me a huge favor...they reflashed my engine back to factory. I am telling you my 17 year old 120k mile truck is like new...Saturday hours makes them twice a gift and value. GIVE THEM A CALL

I had my 05 6.0L truck Bulletproofed 2 years ago by Impact Performance Diesel with a new EGR cooler, Air-To-Oil cooler, ARP head studs and new head gaskets. Everyone I talked to was very friendly and helpful. I waited this long to write the review because I wanted to give it some time and put some miles on the truck before making any comments. I would and have highly recommended Impact Performance Diesel to other diesel owners that I know.

People In This Area Possibly Conduct Bad Business! I Worked At A TAXI COMPANY IN THIS AREA And They Had Me Working Double Shifts W/ No Set Breaks Or Lunch. Just Eat As You Go. I Was Always Early & On Time Everyday Until The Holiday Seasons. Traffic, Get Over It. They Cut My Pay & Sent Me Home From Being 3 Minutes Late!! Other People Was Hours Late & They Said Nothing. Everyday Im Without A Job I Have To Leave A New Review! For The Inconvience & Bills Are Due & They Did Me Wrong, To Whom It May Concern.

If I could give them a 0 rating I would. They are so unprofessional and rude. There arent that many diesel shops in the area and I read the reviews and decided to go with them. I sure hope you have two vehicles. They wont give you a time when your truck will be done. They will keep it for weeks and keep telling you it will be done by tomorrow. Save the headache and go to someone else.

Price changed several times over the phone depending on who I talked to, took a week of my calling just to look at my truck before telling me it would be a couple weeks before they could get to the repair. Ended up towing it to another shop that fixed it the next day for much cheaper.

Joey was helpful, knowledgeable and friendly. He gave me the information I needed to make an informed decision repairs on my truck.

Lack of communication is the big thing that annoyed me. Every call was the same thing. More parts on order. They had our truck for over a month and we get it back with the AC not working and the coolant low. The charged us for a coolant top off.

I took My truck to Andy at Impact Diesel in Fredericksburg and his experience was first class all the way! He explained that my FICM was bad and showed me on the diagnostic system was was happening with my truck. he ordered the parts and the turn around time was fast. I had my truck back the same day. Honestly, they are the only people that I feel I can trust with my truck. The first time I went there was after I did an EGR cooler replacement myself and was having water pump issues as well as a bad injector. I didnt feel like getting to that myself so I brought it in somewhat expecting the typical well you need this that and the other thing that you get from the stealerships. Instead I got a full rundown of what failed on their tests (I was able to watch), and when they did the repairs, they also touched up the things that I missed when I was putting everything back from doing the EGR cooler. This last time was a bit more costly, but 5 injectors and a new exhaust system isnt cheap, even if you did it yourself. I always get courteous and accurate information from these guys and everyone that I know with a diesel truck, I send them here.
