This was first time there but def will go back. The name says it all. The decor inside is on point. The space is amazing. The owners did an amazing job with the space they have.

Danielle takes excellent care of my natural hair. Highly recommend her. She works on one customer at a time and is always on time. The establishment is quiet and clean. You can get the works there (hair, manicure, pedicure, waxing, massage).

My wife and son are a bit picky when it comes to hair stylists and barber shops. I think I even apologized to the staff of Steampunk for the nightmare one or both of them were going to create. Surprisingly, both came out with big smiles on their face. Not only does this place have the right vibe to it, their staff is extremely talented. While my personal haircut is rather boring, my family keeps challenging them to do increasingly complicated hair cuts and coloring. They knock it out of the ball bark every time as well as making it a fun experience. This place is awesome, I highly recommend it.

Never ceases to amaze with how their hairstylists make their miracles happen! The products available are top quality for a small family owned business, and everyone there is very professional and respectful! Ive been a regular at steampunk for over a year now, and my experience with them is always great.

Ive debated a long time about leaving a review because I normally dont but each day that passes my hair upsets me. I went to get my hair dyed and cut on October 17 2020 and that day the hair color I received was not what I wanted so the person doing my hair said to come back and get it fixed at no charge and just pay for the haircut. Great customer service on that part. My hair was dark and I wanted an obvious burgundy on the bottom but she did not bleach my hair. I come back in on October 24 2020 and this time bleach is used but it is splotchy and still does not come close to the color I asked for. I had no problem with the cut until I straightened my hair on Thanksgiving because I have natural curly/wavy hair and I noticed an uneven cut too. Now I sit here debating on getting a haircut again and dying my hair myself. Like I said the customer service was great but my results were not.

Awful, showed my barber the way I wanted my hair cut, like I always do before she cuts my hair, and she cut it completely different and cut my hair way shorter than I wanted. The worst part is she did this without asking me because she said, it looks better this way. It did not look better and it is not what I asked for. My head was turned away from the mirror so I could not see what she was doing to my hair. I also asked for my beard to be rounded off and she ignored me and instead squared it off. I do not recommend this place for male haircuts

The stylists are great and the steampunk theme is fun. Theres a barber shop as well as a salon, nail care and massage rooms... so its a great, 1 stop shop for the whole family. Plus, they arent afraid to go bold with the colors and the cuts! Love this place!

Since moving to Stafford from Virginia Beach over 3 years ago, I have gone to many salons trying to find a stylist that is educated on how medicine affects not only the hair but how hair takes color. On top of that without coloring I would be gray all over at a young age. Melissa is extremely knowledgeable in all areas. She is patient and explains everything and lets you decide what services are right for you because it can add up. My hair color looks amazing and the style is perfect. When you call to make an appointment make sure you let them know if you have any challenges like mine and they will match you up with the right colorist/stylist.

Chris was amazing and got me in right away when another location canceled on me.

Kendra knows how to cut mens curly hair, and she does it well. She has sick fades in her arsenal too.

Chris was lovely! She kept with conversation. She drew out my hair tattoo several times before using the clippers. Triple checked before shaving so much of my hair off. Cant wait to go back!

Husband and I love this place. Ive had hair, waxing, and nails done. Even had my bridal party, mom, and MIL get nails and hair done here for the day.

I had been to many shops before trying to find the right fit for my 7yr old son who is autistic. Generally this is big deal for my son but this day we came in and Bill took care of my son. My son seemed very calm with which allowed for his hair to be cut. Bill is a amazing man, very patient, very personable and we havent been anywhere else since. They all do a great job. Its kind of like a one stop shop for the women from hair, to nails, eye brows they can do it all.

Got a spray tan, full set, and undercut design all from here and it was amazing!! Angela did an amazing job with my spray tan and got tons of compliments on it and i’m super happy with how natural it looked :) Blanca was super sweet and did my nails perfectly and how I wanted them! And Bill did a super dope lotus design on my undercut that was a perfect addition to my prom look :) I will be back in the future!!

The atmosphere is cool, but the service left something to be desired. I was on time for my appointment, and wasnt taken back until 45 minutes after. While I waited in their lobby, an employee came over and set her coffee and open bag of chips on the refreshment table blocking the Keurig machine. She then sat down and started texting as if they were closed. Thanks to be being pulled back late, I had to rearrange my plans afterwards, and cancel my meeting. Front desk attendant was wonderful, but the rest of the staff have much to improve upon. Got a facial done. The atmosphere for the facial rooms were calming, but the stylist had missed my troubled spots that I told her were on the sides of my nose. I walked away with a bruise on the bridge of my nose that lasted for a day and a half.

Id been looking for a new barber and someone recommended Steam Punk. I was a bit put off by the name and it took several tries to get there while they were open. I was pleasantly surprised. The staff is very nice and the [loosely] steam punk theme is entertaining. Right next to the chair I was seated in is a full size (as in seven feet tall) Robby the Robot of Forbidden Planet fame. Next time I go there Im going to walk around the entire large shop and see what I missed (and maybe take some pictures). In addition to haircuts and shampoos they also do massages which I might very well try. The cost was also reasonable at $20.00 for the cut and wash.Pictures will follow in future updates.

The entire team is so professional. Expect a true dose of encouragement and cheerfulness when you enter. These ladies are the best!

1st of all let me start off by saying the ambience of the place is phenomenal. Im giving a one star rating because I told the Stylist specifically I was very hesitant about having bleach put on my hair and She put bleach in my hair, then I also told her I was worried about the heat being put on my head Because I had a bad experience before in the stylist double processed my hair and it fell out and she set me under the dryer for 20 minutes to where the heat got so bad that the little buttons on the back of the Cape kept touching my skin and burning me. By the time the whole process was done my haircut just looked funky and the color that I had put in my hair I ended up looking like a bloody Q tip. And I just wanted a pop of color. I also stopped by the Barber with in the parlor to get a design put in the back of my head the person that did it made the back of my head really off centered and claimed that I moved my head when I have had numerous designs put into my head and I always sit still. To where the next day I went to the Barber shop and had my hair buzzed off because it looked horrible ands I I was embarrassed to be seen. So $175 for a hair style that ended a buzz cut.
