Was in shop during a visit to VA. to move furniture back to Cleveland . Owner was very very professional and the cutting was 5 stars . i will be back later this month and will stop in to get another cut. Very hard to find folks like this therse days . I highly recommned this shop.

Good at doing “Cookie Cutter” haircuts, wanted a short fade on the sides and four to five inches of play on the top. I had pictures of that specific haircut from when I called my door to door hair dresser a time previous, so it wouldn’t have been hard to copy, and I wasn’t having to explain it in the slightest. I somehow ended with a super close flat top with the hair spiked up in the front like a cop. Was trying to be polite and didn’t .(but I almost cried) it took me months to grow my hair out! I wouldn’t recommend this place unless you don’t care too much about how it turns out and more about how much spent. If you want a decent haircut at a good price try jcp penny’s or hair cuttery are my “go to’s in a pinch

I’ve been going to Kim’s for over 20 years. Kim is my Barber, but I have had haircuts by each barber there. Alway high standard haircuts. Once, while in Ft. Worth Texas, a Vietnamese barber Judged Kim’s haircut and complimented Kim’s haircut calling it an A+ classic cut. Kim’s Barbershop is a first rate Business. Do yourself a favor and give her your business. You won’t regret it.

I’ve been going there for years. My haircut is perfect nearly every time. I’ve tried other barber shops over the years, but they never compare to Kim’s. All the ladies there give great cuts. I recently moved to a different county and have tried barbers in my new neighborhood, but I always leave somewhat disappointed.Now I trek all the way to the complete opposite side of town for my haircut and will continue to do so.

Yeah so, I WAS a loyal customer of Kims. Ive been going to KIM C for 9 years now and have always received a military discount. Im Navy reserve, been active, and have served a total of 14 years. Ive always appreciated the discount but I just passed the savings onto the hair cutter and added it to their tip. Most businesses Ive encountered that offer the military discount, do so because its their way of saying thank you for your service, not because they think you are in financial need.Much to my surprise during my most recent haircut, I was informed by my hair cutter (not Kim herself) that Kim will not be giving me the military discount anymore because I am reserve and the discount is for Active Duty only. Wow. I was speechless. Sorry, when I was deployed I was overseas and couldnt find the time to swing by for a trim.I guess she needs the $3 more than I do. You would think not so much because she asks for cash payments instead of credit. I guess to avoid paying the taxes. I dont know. Guess Ill be looking for a new barber. At least have the guts to tell me yourself, Kim. Thanks for your support.

Kim C is hands down the best barber I’ve ever had!!

I went on an early Sunday morning, there were three ladies working. The ladies greeted me when I entered the shop and I was promptly seated in a chair. The equipment from the chairs to the clippers were nice and clean. The hair cut (medium skin fade) was done well and complete with a hot shave and hot towel finish. This barber shop is much better than other barber shops in the local area. The price is better and the quality of work and customer service is a step above others in the area. Highly recommended!

I’ve been going to Ms Kim since 2010 - she’s the best! She gave me the best military regulation cuts before I retired. Since retiring, she’s tolerating my explorations into various cuts and lengths... she and the lady’s at Kim C barbershop are kind, caring and professional.

In my opinion, they are racists. After giving Pam a tip I took 2 lollipops from the candy dish and she rudely stated that I should have taken only one. It was a dollar store lollipop. In addition, I know enough Korean to know they have made racist comments. In the future I will do business with Black barbershops and not give them my money or tips. Furthermore, they really can’t cut Black peoples hair well anyway!

Consistent with performance and barbers. All the ladies here a very capable and give you what you ask for. Nothing worse than getting a medium reg cut when you asked for a trim. That wont happen here.

These ladies are AWESOME. Best place close by this area for a military hair cut. And only 10 Bucks. Hell they charge more than that on post and and its usually horrible. These ladies get it right.
