I highly recommend this garage. Joel and his mechanics were able to diagnose my car, and the part that was broken, ordered parts, had it installed and did oil change for a great price and was so quick! I will always take my car there for now on!

Had alignment shop tell my mother that my car’s tie rod was broken while I was out of town. My mother brought the car here. Tie rod was not broken. The other repair we requested was completed for a very reasonable price. Highly recommend, thanks guys.

My wife and I were on day two of a trip from Chicago visiting my parents and son for the first time in a year. We were traveling with a small camper trailer to minimize coronavirus exposure in this pandemic. Our electric trailer brakes had a bad signal and one side stuck in the engaged position, causing the axle to heat, the bearing grease to lose viscosity and leak. The worry was that the bearings would lose all lubrication, leading to catastrophic failure. I called Joel and he said he usually worked on cars and he gave me some other shops to call. I called back after none of them could fit us in for WEEKS, and Joel agreed to check the integrity of the bearing and repack the bearings with grease—both sides. He said it would be done by mid morning the next day and it was—at a very reasonable price. The axle stayed cool the rest of the trip.Thanks, Joel! You were a victim of the great reviews I read....and, folks—if ONE reviewer posts an outlier review, you can bet that it is unreliable.

This is the most honest and ethical auto repair shop with the best people! The owner is phenomenal. Great customer service and skilled mechanics who get the job done right and at a competitive, very fair price. Theyve done three repairs on my car so far -- and all were outstanding experiences. Most recently my car broke down on a Friday afternoon and they were close enough for me to make it there without a tow. The owner very graciously fit my car into an already busy schedule, accurately diagnosed the problem, immediately ordered parts and started his mechanics on the repair. He did not charge extra for this courtesy and even personally went to pick up the correct parts after the store delivered the wrong part. He saved me from having to rent a car to get to work or worry about my transportation over the weekend. The repair itself also wouldve easily cost hundreds more at the dealership or other better known repair shops in this area. The Worx Garage beats all the competition! Best customer service, quality, and pricing in the business!

Came in from out of town and needed a pre-purchase inspection. One of the best auto shop experiences ever. The owner really knows his stuff and was really, really reasonable on price. He has the added benefit of having been a body shop guy so he was the perfect person to look over a vehicle that we knew had been wrecked. Its not often you tell and an auto shop they arent charging enough. Highly recommend.

I drive a BMW 328I and after going to 5 different shops and 1 of which was just too expensive and then trying to trade my car in while still owing in it, which cost more to fix it, it was ALL so stressful. I was ready to give up and just take it to the expensive place and just pay them to do it. The morning of me taking it to the expensive place, someone mention The Worx Garage, why not, I had nothing to lose and was at the end of my rope. I got my car towed there and I THANK GOD I did, I paid half of what I was going to pay the other place and my car works, its been 4 months I havent driven my car because the other 4 shops couldnt figure it out. I was stranded in Virginia after my car decided to break down. I was headed to Florida. So I knew nothing about the area. So I gave me a call and got me in and fix within 1 hour. Nicest people I have ever met.

Got into an accident and drove here just to see if my car is okay to make a trek across state lines. After giving the engine a look, it was recommended I stay put so I called a tow truck. While waiting here, Joel provided me with the upmost hospitality. The towing company took much longer than expected and he even stayed hours after closing to make sure everything has been worked out. He also looked at the front end of my car and gave me a reasonable estimate of the repair costs, everything from the lights to the engine. I highly recommend his place for repairs or anything else pertaining to mechanical components.

I believe mechanics are dishonest & will seek profit before customers needs. My 07 Navigator was towed to Pep Boys (Norfolk Mil. Hwy) & quoted me $8500 for a new engine. Next day we towed it home to Fredericksburg, called around then towed to Worx. Joel answered all my questions & was really concerned about his companys rep.I didnt need a new engine, Worx garage put in a new compressor, Serpentine Belt, condenser & fluids which totaled $1100. I intend on using this bill that I got from Worx garage as evidence to sue Pep Boys in Norfolk for fraud. Joel from Worx called to inform us that we did not need a new engine. I definitely recommend Worx garage. The people there are honest, affordable & down to earth. I cant speak for other mechanics, still dont trust them but I trust these guys.

I took my 1959 Airstream Travel Trailer here for an axle replacment, fix the step, and install a 30 amp power outlet on the street side. The owner was very confident in tackling the repairs on this special project and did well reacting to the unforeseen issues that come with working on any vintage project. The shops communication with me to discuss the work was great and work was conducted quickly. My only issue is that it seems the shop was intent on completing my project so they could move on to the next project. The workmanship and speed was great. I was a little disappointed in the end. The price went up from the original quote and the shop was not able to figure out how to install gas shocks on the new axle. Would recommend this for less complex jobs.
