We came in recently to transfer our membership from another region. We were helped by associate Rica Joplin, who was very lovely, friendly and professional. She helped answer our questions and complete what we needed to ensure our coverage was appropriate and what we needed. I was very impressed with her attentiveness, and grateful. Rica is definitely an asset to this office and the AAA corporation.
Go to Dawn for all your needs. She communicated with me throughout the whole process, was very personable and assuring. Thank you Dawn for all you do! AAA has a GREAT one !
This is my new shop for my vehicles to be serviced. We mate Trevor a few months ago when we had our car towed in and fixed. We took our other car last week to be serviced. And Trevor helped us again... Trevor has been nothing but very honest and helpful. Im so happy to have found a shop I can trust with my vehicles. Thanks for again Trevor ur the best....
These people are amazingly friendly, helpful, and accomodating. I had my Jeep towed here after having some brake issues. From the very day it arrive the staff contacted me in a timely manner, they were super friendly, explained everything to me, and had the repairs done in 1 day. And they only fixed what was broken, with no extra you should probably let us fix these things also for just a couple more hundreds of dollars. I would highly recommend their services.
Went in for a passport photo and it was quick and easy. Staff were helpful, though it was busy with calls that day. First time there, so I dont have other days to compare with to know if this was normal or unusual.
The staff was very friendly and welcoming from the moment I entered. Melanie was an absolute pleasure--it was a very busy Saturday, however she kept herself calm and friendly to me, and every call she answered! Thank you Melanie!
I was planning a long distance road trip. I was able to have them check my fluids and tires for free since Im a member. I ended up having a brake light out and they replaced it for $21.00. I was in and out in less than an hour!! THANK YOU AAA
Zero stars. MOST IMPORTANTLY not for the location however yes for the service of AAA because of them banning my family home.adress and myself. Furthermore discriminating anyone with any relation ties or even claims to know me. Denying them a membership and kicking out a membership simply for having known me etc. SIMPLY MODERN DISCRIMINATION AND SEGREGATION BASED ON ME USING THE MEMBERSHIP IN THE PAST WELL OVER 5 YEARS AGO, FOR THIS IM STILL BASICALLY EXCOMMUNICATED. WOULD NOT BE ABLE TO FIND A MORE UNPROFESSIONAL AND HEARTBREAKING ORGANIZATION WHO CLAIMS TO BE A CHARITY. PUNISHING PEOPME FOR USING THE SERVICE THEY CLAIM TO PROVIDE, WITH THE RUSE OF ABUSE OF TOWES. COMPLETELY UNPROFESSIONAL, DISAPPOINTING FOR UNFAIR AND UNLAWFUL PRACTICES AGAINST CITIZENS TREATING US LIKE SCUM OF THE EARTH.
Trevor is our favorite employee here. very knowledgeable and helpful makes the customers feel good about their cars. Also nice to see everyone following covid rules makes me feel so safe. thank you aaa for being the best car care place In town. I refuse to go anywhere else.
Always amazing. Very helpful staff.
I am a member of AAA and I use this place when I need to get an International Driving Permit to travel to Europe. It is a quick process to get the license, two passport size photos, valid state drivers license, fill out the form and about 5 minutes later its ready. About $20 and it is good for a year but not valid in the country you get it in.
Katie was able to find me a rental car on such short notice that fit within my budget. Very Professional and great customer service.
EDIT! After servicing my car here for many years, this shop blatantly tried to rip me off for $4000. After experiencing an issue on the road, I had my vehicle towed here. They told me that they would have to replace both my transfer case (about $2000 and my transmission (about $4000). I cant afford that,, so I asked about the possibility of rebuilding the transmission, but they do not rebuild, only replace. I then had my car towed to AAMCO, a shop specializing in transmission repair. They told me that not only was my transmission working, but there were NO symptoms to make them think that there could be an issue. They did agree on the transfer case. About a month or so after I was able to get the repair done, I went back to AAA and asked to see the notes, so I could understand why they wanted to replace my transmission. I was told that the notes were paper only, and were destroyed. So this place wanted to charge me $4000 for an unneeded repair, and they couldnt even explain why. They have lost my business, and I urge anyone reading this to avoid this shop at all cost. If you must go here, get a second opinion before moving forward, because the staff here are either incompetent, under trained, or just plain crooked.Previous Review:Always a great experience here. Professional techs and great customer service. I needed a new battery, and I was driving away with it less than 30 minutes later. I will always recommend these folks.
Came in early an left even earlier fast polite staff went straight in an got to business
Always feel great to have my car serviced
Trevor & Richard is always profession and provide great service when we take our cars in for Maintenance. I have no issues with trusting them with the maintenance of our cars. Thanks for all your support.
Excellent service and competitive prices. Always a timely turnaround when I go.
Surprisingly after doing some comparison shopping AAA came in $100 cheaper than 6 other car places in the area... the membership discount helped 😁. Customer service is always great as well in a great location.
Car rides great. Very smooth, alignment seems spot on. Thank you
Very polite service. Just what I expected.
I’ve been a premier member for 20 years in Nevada and California. Now we live in Virginia. Virginia offers mostly the same benefits “PLUS a free battery each year”. They don’t tell you upfront that your batter has to fail to get that free battery. The battery replacement service is NOT offered 24 hours a day! I missed a day of work, too. It took 5 service calls over the span of 2 days for me to get the “free battery”. Once the battery test results was “charge and retest” apparently AAA will not allow a retest in the same call. So after I charged my own battery then called AGAIN, guess what?! Same problem, it clicked and wouldn’t start. Gee big surprise! Then today, I go to get ONE signature notarized only to be told that they only notarize for auto or travel. I’ve gotten MANY papers notarized in California AAA, Nevada AAA, even Manassas AAA that we’re not solely auto or travel related. So, why am I paying $200+ a year? *Shrug*I highly recommend California AAA, and Nevada AAA. I do not recommend Virginia AAA they are great salesmen and will say anything to get your money for their bonuses.I called AAA to complain only to be told I can only snail write a complaint. No calls or emails. Then without confirming that I want to cancel or ask what I want to do next, the guy in the phone canceled my membership! What a great person. Well, it’s a bittersweet good riddance I guess. If you’re ever in this area and need a notary, Donald at the UPS store close by will happily help you for only $5 per signature!
My first time here, and definitely will not be my last!! I was greeted by 2 friendly young ladies who directed me to Richard Sullivan. He was recommended by some very good friends and I was not disappointed. He was such a nice guy to talk with, was very genuine in his approach and I have found my new repair shop!!
Tried to help me with FAST PASS but could not
My tire light in my car was on and when this happens the tire has been known to blow out. ...scary. I pulled in and they put the proper air in all the tires and sent me safely on my way. What a wonderful kindness. Highly recommend.
I had an issue with my thermostat housing- my car overheated in the middle of the summer!AAA tow service was very prompt and I wasnt charged for needing to go 7 miles because I was taking it to a AAA center, but other than getting to my car first in the morning thats where the good service stopped.I attempted to replace the thermostat on the car myself, and in the process widened a crack on the plastic housing, so there wasnt a tight seal between the thermostat and the rest of the housing; I understand that completely. Coolant spilled out like crazy, so it was time to take it to the professionals.During the diagnostic, they noted that I indeed had a crack and a leak, and the thermostat housing was in the shop! Thats all they noticed. They replaced it very quickly, too quickly, because in doing so they cracked my radiator hose which I personally saw when attempting the fix myself, so they added on a brand new hose for $45. Its $12 at Advanced Auto Parts. In addition to the most expensive coolant AAA could find, they also charged me to flush the coolant even though all of it had already leaked out, $60 right there, they also threw in a $25 additive to make my A/C colder that I didnt ask for.I didnt know AAA gave a discount to members, and they dont. While I was delighted to hear about the 10% over the phone, the exact same amount, to the dollar, was tacked back on as shop fees, so I saved literally zero dollars. If I am being charged for parts, labor, coolant, additives, and the flush, where do the shop fees come in?I would be able to swallow the price of this process, IF MY PROBLEM HAD BEEN FIXED.Upon getting the car back, I noticed that my A/C wasnt cold at all, and when I popped the hood you could see plain as day the cooling fan not moving. How long did that diagnostic take exactly? So I asked them to look at it again, and apparently the cooling fan became damaged between when the car first overheated and when it was worked on, but they cant be sure of when. It wasnt damaged when I worked on the thermostat, so that shortens the timeline a bit.The new fan estimate was $510, when the part online costs $90. What in Gods name is their cost of labor to make up the other $350?So thank you for charging me almost $600 for coolant I cant use, meaningless additive, a hose that didnt need to be replaced, and a thermostat housing, which is also less than $150 online.I will never be coming back here.
Always hospitable, pandemic protocols observed, very helpful and insightful.
I got there early to get my car inspected, they got my car in quick and was done in about 45 min. They are very efficient, and polite and the place is clean.
Im an incredibly busy nursing student who unfortunately left for clinical rotation one morning to find that my car wouldnt start.I had my car towed to AAA in Central Park and they diagnosed and fixed the issue in an hour and a half. Before my car was diagnosed, a very kind lady named Melanie did everything she could to arrange a rental car for me, but, luckily, I ended up not needing it.They were even kind enough to allow me to attend a Zoom class at the on my laptop at the desk while my car was being fixed.10/10 best car service in Fredericksburg. So glad I had a membership.
Went just for oil change a state inspector was changeling my oil inspector had no right to inspect my vehicle when I just asked for oil xhange
Trevor is so nice he takes care of all of the customers there so nicely. And he is always pleasant with all of the employees. Thank you Aaa!
Very friendly staff, quick, comprehensive and efficient service!! I never regret taking my car here 😊
I got exceptional service from Rica in member services. Way beyond my expectations!
Trevor and his team are fantastic! I continue to go back because I get my car in and out knowing Im getting great work at a great price. Highly recommend.
Good service but not thoroug work
Absolutely horrible experience here. Estimated cost to repair at 10k for an engine. They are not friendly at all and I will never take a vehicle here for service ever again!
Took truck in for annual inspection and was in and out quickly. Great customer service, very friendly folks, and definitely will be back.
Excellent service. The Service guy, Ron, in Fredericksburg, VA came in reasonable time, we didnt have to wait very long. Our car battery died and he came prepared with a battery. Very friendly and a great attitude. Thank you!
My partner and I were traveling from PA to SC with a 7 ton load on our trailer and we blew a tire and punctured another half a mile from the exit on 95. We managed to limp the trailer to their shop and it was 4:40 pm, they closed at 5. We walked in asked if they could do it and they hesitated because they were afraid they wouldnt have the proper jacks to lift the trailer. With no persuasion they quickly grabbed their biggest jack (a 5 ton) and lifted the axle and had the tires changed in no time. When we left it was past closing hours and they helped us anyways. We are very grateful to this crew and thank them for helping us get back on the road.
Seems like a great place to get work done on your vehicle. Im going to keep these guys in mind when I need something done on my vehicles instead of going to the dealer. I had new tires installed that I had ordered from tirerack.com and Richard and the team were quick, courteous, and professional. They have a nice comfortable waiting area with free Wi-Fi and vending machine if you want a snack while you wait. I didnt realize it, but you can do your research on tirerack.com and then take your information in to them at AAA, and they will order them at your discounted price and offer AAAs much improved road hazard warranty as part of the installation. Nice - you can get the exact tires you would like installed for a better price and probably have better service than you will have at Costco. 😎
Best service I will not go anywhere else.
Service was good. However, read your bill thoroughly before signing. They had a special on rotation, balance, alignment with two free wiper blades. Found out after leaving shop that the free wiper blades were standard ones and charged higher price for ones to fit my BMW. Evidently they had to order them. This was not conveyed to me while at the facility, however, upon calling a rep stated that they told me and gave me a discount. Well, there is a nominal discount reflected, but it does not come close to their advertised deal. Well, as I told them, knowledge is the key, I disputed that they informed me and will move on. Just wish to share with others that you MUST review your bill prior to leaving. I trusted, but will not going forward. I knew this, but slept on my follow through. Well, life goes on...
Great Service and Fair Price!Im new to town and have taken my vehicle here a few times for service. The team is friendly, helpful, knowledgeable, and never pushy.I recently needed brakes and tires. The Service Advisor, Michael, was awesome to work with. He gave me a good price - price matching the competition. Michael communicated with me during the process and made me feel like a valued customer. I also have the highest confidence with their service technicians that the job is done right.I highly recommend AAA Fredericksburg Care Care for all your car maintenance and repair needs.
Got what I needed for the trip.
I like the convenience of my travel and automotive in one place. Friendly and helpful.
Positives first. Great service, prompt and thorough . Negative. Parts markup and response to question. Rotors were reasonably marked up. Brakes were unreasonably marked. Question this in an email and never received a reply. We had car trouble away from home and were towed here for service on a Sunday.Update:. First off, it was the replacement alternator that was unreasonably marked up. I received a call from AAA. It was explained that the prices are set somewhere else, Ohio I think.. OK . Still didnt get an explanation as to why the alternator was mark up higher than the brake components. Do some homework while you wait for your repair.
If I could give 10 stars, I would. Excellent customer service. Very Professional. Major appreciation to Trevor the service manager. My mother was towed there after her van broke down and had a medical emergency while waiting for her repairs. Luckily Trevor and another employee were able to get her the help she needed. Mom is safe and the van is alright as well.
Got an oil change. Great price and quick, friendly service.
Convenient place to take vehicles for a safety inspection. Members get $2 off.
Great service
I cant even give 1 star but have to for the post button to highlight. We had our car towed as we noticed a major oil leak on the ground. Took care to push the car, not start it .... and have it towed. Explained to David what was going on when the car was taken in. David calls back to tell us it was the Oil Pressure Sensor and gave a price to repair. Then calls back to tell us the car is now making loud and clunking sounds. Come to find out David and his team drove the car into the bay for repair. So in not having any oil getting to all the places it needed ... the engine is now in need of replacement which he will gladly do for us to the tune of $6000.00. Unbelievable .... BEWARE!
I do not and will not recommended any one take there vehicle there for state inspection or service. Sway bar connecting rods were marked up considerably. As for my inspection, because the tuck is an F350 and I asked them to please take my chrome lug nuts off with a wrench and not an impact they had to find something. Told me my sway bar joints had too much play. I checked the joints and they were with in Ford spec of 1/32 of an inch. When I brought this up to the service manager. He told me it’s up to the discretion of the inspector. It would be my opinion that from my experience this shop will use any and all available means to run a shop bill up on you. If you need service talk to the most mechanically inclined person you know and get some advice from them.
I broke gown in Fredericksburg on I-95. Luckily, I was near AAA Fburg. They sent a tow truck to get me. They gave me quick service at a reasonable price.
I left a cell phone in a commuter car, and the driver had mentioned he was getting his car serviced at this location. I asked the AAA representative (Trevor) if he knew the driver or car. He didnt know of hand, but researched the database, and took my contact information, in case the driver brought his car in for service. The driver happened to make an appointment later that day, and Trevor relayed my dilemma. Trevor was able to have my phone delivered with the vehicle, and called me when he had it. From the minute I walked in to this location, I was greeted with a friendly welcome, and offer to help. Trevor went well beyond what his job is. While I was in their shop, I listened to the car and professionalism from all the staff, and couldnt help but notice how organized and clean the shop was. I wasnt a AAA member, but looking into becoming one. Side note: The driver of the commuter car had mentioned how happy he was with the service from this location. Thanks Trevor and Central Park team.
Broke down and had to be towed here... Way better than expected. Expected a crummy hole in the wall wait, but this was the cleanest, quickest, and most direct breakdown Ive ever had. Prices were bit high but comparable to my trusted guys back home. For brake problems on a Sunday, now, this was gggreat.
Our truck broke down and this AAA office was phenomenal in helping us find a solution. We were driving the truck from CT to FL and the truck broke down in DC. Clorist is the person we dealt with. She is an amazing representative for the AAA company. She went above and beyond her job to help us find a solution.
Fast service after our car was towed their by AAA.
Came here to exchange foreign currency for a trip abroad (kinda last minute). Erica was super helpful and very patient! A good place to go for travel needs!
Nice place. It was very efficient in processing new insurance
Totally recommended it service! They helped me in just a couple of minutes, very reliable system.
My wife and I both had vehicles serviced at this location. We had them service the brakes on our Toyota Camry Hybrid. Since then, there continue to be an intermittent noise. We returned and expressed our concerns. We were told that, after an approximate hundred miles, the noise would cease. That was a lie. The noise has not ceased. We had head gasket repairs to our Ford Taurus. Since the repairs, there is a constant leak and the smell of coolant. Once again, we returned and addressed our concerns. I explained that there has never been any issues with leaking and smell of coolant. The leak stains our driveway. I have trust issues with AAA, especially this particular location. I expressed my concerns with my Lawyer, and have not yet decided whether to file a law suit. Meanwhile, I do not intend to have anymore services with them (mainly this location). I also cannot help but wonder whether or not, the employees complete customer services training. I say this because, Trevor had an attitude when I expressed that I am now having trust issues with what they have done or not done to our vehicles. His voice tone was inappropriate and unprofessional.
The young lady that helped me out was great!
Stay far away from this place, they will not fix your car right and when you bring it back for the same problem they will tell you they fixed it, then when you take it to another place they will tell you what they should have done. I will never go back to this place again!
AAA finally let me down. Took e visits to figure out something very simple. Mechanics have lost the trade. They rely on computer and lack knowledge of the engine and electronics to seek out and resolve problems. Dave was good. . Sorry on the rest. Disappointed.
Prices are unreasonably high for certain maintenance. They are fairly fast.
Good customer service. The auto service repair is priced high. Takes a little to long to have the vehicle serviced..
Your welcome! Richard & David and Trevor are the best! Specially Richard he always goes above and beyond for my mom ❤
I visited this location today for a quick tire patch - Trying to avoid the pushy mechanics at familiar car care centers in Fredericksburg. I called ahead of time to ensure a quick repair as I wasn’t expecting to wait very long for a “simple tire repair”. I also wanted to ensure that if I wasn’t a AAA Member, they would still service my vehicle’s tire. The service advisor I spoke to was polite, understanding and ensured me that the repair could be done fairly quickly. After entering the facility, I was immediately impressed with the cleanliness and the professionalism of the staff. I inquired about joining and joined AAA before leaving. I am extremely impressed at the level of professionalism demonstrated by the staff member, Dixie, that assisted me in joinging. She wasn’t pushy in getting me to join and I very much appreciated that. She, in detail, reviewed all of the plans and together we chose the best option for me and my family. I am also very impressed with the Service Advisor that assisted me in checking in and updating me on the status of my vehicle as the tire was getting repaired. He knew that I was in a little bit of a hurry, and took the time to relay that information to the technician actually repairing the tire. Because the first patch in the tire didn’t repair the tire properly, they had to go back and repatch it. Knowing that I was in a hurry, and because it took a little longer than expected, he didn’t charge me for it. I am extremely satisfied with the level of service that I received today at this location and would highly recommend it. It will defiantly be my number one choice of where to have my vehicles serviced in the future. These two employees should be commended for their professionalism!
Reliable and courteous. Had a battery replaced here. Minimal wait time
Thank you all! I was in your center at 6:50, friday evening 4/19 heading to see my grandchildren when i had to be towed to your center for a tire. You generously assisted me by trying to locate a tire at other sorounding locations to no avail. I really appreciate your great customer service, and willingness to help me. Emergency situations always gives customers anxiety, especially when having to be on the side of the highway, and in tow. I really appreciated the friendliness of your staff, and the God Bless that you said sending me on my way. Despite the circumstances I left A AA with an attitude of gratitude!
In for an international drivers license - easy process, attentive staff - no issues
Great place for repairs
Rudest people I’ve ever met in my life! Very unprofessional staff. I use to like AAA, but I’m canceling my membership.
Decent repair AAA location. Does feel however like they are selling you more than you need. Beware - other than that.....very good.
So the service manager told me at 0745 that my car would be first for inspection when the inspector got in at 0900. At 0930, my car is still sitting where I parked it. When I inquired whats going on, I was told oh, the car ahead of you failed inspection and we gotta fix it. Truthfulness was what I expected; truthfully I could have gone somewhere else and been on my merry way an hour ago. Wont come here again!
Honest and trustworthy service advisors and professional technicians.
Great people. Broke down traveling out of state on a Friday after 5:00 pm. They had us on the road the next day and got it done right away. The manager Trevor is great and gets things done quickly.
Great place one of the best AAA I have ever been to. Great staff.
Just discovered these guys about two months ago, and I cant say enough good things about them. My cars have been in there several times (they are very old), and I have found them to be very honest, thorough, and reasonably priced. An oil change and tire rotation only cost me $29 (that figure can vary a little with the type of vehicle you own, but that gives you a general idea). They really want to make sure you are satisfied before you leave. The bay area is completely surrounded with windows, so you can watch to make sure they are doing the work requested on your car. Also, they are open on Sundays! Isnt that wonderful? Please give them a try. You get 10 percent off labor if you are a AAA member, but anyone can bring their car to them.
Good people that go the extra mile for you.
If youve got the money for it, its a great place. So professional and kind. I got 2 new tires for my sedan for about $250
Needed to get the International Drivers Permit for an upcoming trip to Europe. Took less than 10 minutes for everything (including photos). Super easy and nice staff to boot.
Representatives are always professional and courteous.
Very fast and friendly here. Were not members of AAA but have had some minor service done a couple of times and were very pleased.
The staff is very nice, and everything is done by the book.
The young lady at the desk was very personable and helpful!
Customer service was good. I was shopping for a travel bag. Unfortunately didnt what I was looking for.
The agent was great!!
Very good experience overall. Tire pressure light was on and needed tire repair due to a nail. The associate did not push for new tire sale. Happy with the waiting area, clean and free WiFi. Employees all friendly and courteous. I will be back again.
My mother was the one who actually used my phone to get insurance on a new car she was buying while she was at the dealership. There were questions the salesman could answer while my mom was doing other paperwork and he said the rep seemed annoyed.
The lady at the counter was very helpful and I had what I needed quickly with no hassle. Thanks!
We broke down and they called for fast service
Good people. But there auto parts dealer was really slow. Wasted a whole day waiting for a part.
Expensive but they did a good job.
Awesome, got my car inspected in 15 minuted
Always get top notch service here
Flat tire happened at the parking lot of AAA while having lunch at Applebees. Great service from Triple A! Fixed the tire.
En route from New Jersey to Florida my brake caliper seized onto the rotor. The Service writer at this AAA shop quoted me $480, for a repair that costs around $200 anywhere else. I was stuck in Virginia, with my dog, at 5pm on a holiday, a freezing cold night. Not only was this quote ridiculous ($270 for the part alone, which actually costs $65), he also told me the part was available at the auto parts store up the road and I could go get it myself (since I know how to fix this problem). Well that was a lie. No auto parts store anywhere in the area had a front brake caliper for a BMW. Thank God I have knowledge of my car and was able to fix it myself for $10 and get back on the road. Ive been a AAA Plus member for almost 20 years, as are all the members of my family. I thought theyd be better than most mechanics that try to rip off a girl far from home. Shame on me for thinking that:-(
Great employees the automotive department best prices in town very clean easy access and they will come pick you up at your house and drop you off if you cannot wait for your car to be serviced very highly recommended
This is the only service center that I will take my three cars to. They are professional, they have great service techs and do not overcharge or recommend unneeded work. I highly recommend them.
Came in for an IDP and purchased it. Asked if they did currency exchange, was told yes. She said there is a $12 fee for under $500 (which wouldnt apply since I was doing over $500.) Came back with the cash and a new girl said there is a $50 fee for non-members. Complete waste of time. Nope, wont be signing up either.
