Joan Lord has been my rental agent for nearly a decade. In recent years, she has become negligent at both making visits to the property to ascertain the level of maintenance by tenants and also in timely depositing of rent checks to my account. She has been in arrears for months at a time, owing me thousands of dollars, and has also neglected making regular visits to my two properties, allowing the tenants to destroy the buildings and yard, to the net effect of thousands of dollars in damages! She takes weeks to return emails, texts, or voice messages, at times, and generally only provides an excuse, and not a solution to the problem! I have NEVER experienced such incompetence in a licensed individual, and a formal complaint has been filed with the appropriate state regulatory agency!
