This is a small post office full of people who have big hearts. They seem to get along like a happy family, and I never feel wanting to not come to this post office regardless of what I’m mailing because I always walk away feeling better than I did when I arrived.

Staff seems attentive enough. But Im surprised the lobby closes right at 5. There is a self serve kiosk in the lobby but what is the point if the lobby is closed? Im used to using post offices in Montgomery county that keep lobbies open after hours.

Very kind & helpful staff. Customers can’t drive in & out parking lot lol - might need arrows telling folks which way is in and out. Post boxes are old locker combo kind.

Postal delivery guy waited less than one minute for me to answer the door. As a person with a bad knee it takes a minute to go downstairs to get to the door. Per ring camera less than 50 seconds even though I yelled I was on the way. I tried calling 4 time to he down town post office. All were dropped after several rings.no answer as others noted so I would not try that route. They dont wsnt to hear fro anyone apparently. So notice did not say if the attempt for delivery and signature would be done again but I intend to go to the post office to get my package and speak to a manager of who the delivery failed and no one can call in. . Not thst it will do any good now but I can escalate to the upper post manager

I had a priority item whos tracking number was showing it had been delivered. I couldnt find it anywhere. I asked neighbors, looked around the yard, even waited a day before panicking and calling this Post Office. They were very patient and sincere when I first called and within 2 hours I was receiving a phone call back from the same Postal Worker saying she had figured out the issue and it was ALREADY in my mailbox! I was so relieved I almost cried on the phone with her, there was nothing I could say that let her know how grateful I was - 10 STARS!

There are a super nice group of people working at this post office. My favorite is Joe. He usually has a smile for everyone! A rare gift in todays world. They are usually quick, too. On a rare tax or Christmas mailing day they may be busy but otherwise they are usually a quick stop!I am bummed, however, that they dont have their po box pickup hours posted on the door. They do have there regular business hours posted which is good. There used to be longer hours for people to pick up mail from their PO boxes - I think it may have been 24/7. I was there this Monday at 6 am (and I waited til a little past 6 in case someone was running late) and it wasnt open. Also, it would be nice if I could find out local postal information rather than to go to the 800 number. They usually cant address questions like the one above.

The staff here are so friendly and nice. I have had a great experience each time I have been here. Laura is especially a gem.

I operate a business here in Frederick and normally our post carrier is very polite. But today we had the worst possible attitude in person delivering our mail. This is horrible customer service and I’m trying to call right now but apparently they have one phone number to the Frederick post office and it’s always busy

Had an amazing customer service moment with Lynda (possibly Lydia?). She went out of her way to help me with my passport renewal, walked me through a self-service kiosk, and was ultimately the only bright spot I’ve had in this whole process. Thanks Lynda - you saved me a ton of time and restored my faith in USPS.

Here mailing packages for Christmas. Although there was a line and one terminal was down this team was professional and friendly. They apologized for the line aloud and to each customer during their transaction. There was even someone to assist with the self-service kiosk. This is not my neighborhood post office but I have never had any concerns while at this location.

If you are coming in after hours to drop off a parcel, be aware that the parcel box in the lobby is out of service.

Fast pace

Not a bad post office. There can sometimes be lines, and service may not always be great depending on who you get, but Ive never had a major problem here. Better than going to the post office downtown at least.

I dont know what has happened but the staff has become very unprofessional especially on the phone. I get cut off every time I ask a question or get hung up on. Walking in can be hit or miss with them depending on who is working

Waited all day for pkg delivery that did not come. Tracked pkg again to find out it was being held at post office at customer request. I DID NOT REQUEST THIS. I dont know what my carrier is doing with my pkg but this is the second day that my pkg is being held NOT AT MY REQUEST. Do they get tired of doing their job and make up excuses for not delivering pkgs?

I cannot say enough good things about this post office and the employees there. I lost my mail for the month of November and they called Baltimore, VA and all around to find it bundled somewhere and I started receiving it ok again. I just had a experience today, I sent a box to my son in MA and the machine in the entry way would not display his new address but two others..one was his old address..so that was out.. I just called them, they retrieved the box and changed the address back ot the correct one I had on but was not sure.. they are patient in explaining different costs for different types of mail and Are always as pleasant as possible when dealing with long lines and different types of the public. I give them a 10+++

I brought in a mail to check for the correct postage rate, and the USPS worker told me it was all good and went ahead and mailed the letter out. So I went ahead and bought the stamps for the rest of the mail of the same size and the same weight. Two days later when I bought it those same mails they claimed those mails were larger size than the one I brought in before. They charged me a lot more than what they original told me. They also yelled at me in front of a line of people. Jeez, thanks for screwing up. Terrible and unfriendly place!

Seriously.... they keep forwarding my packages as if I don’t know what address I ordered them to. At least FedEx doesn’t lose my stuff....

Sketchy people hang here in the evening. One lady ran to my car and started banging on my window asking for money. Freaked me out when I had small children in the car. I no longer use this office. Staff knows about the lady and does not care.

I went in today to return a package and politely asked the man working to seal my package and tape the return label on and he replied were not jcpenny elves I said excuse me since I was shocked and offended that someone in customer service would speak like that towards a customer and then he said you think were here to tape your packages for you when you should be doing it yourself not a pleasant experience for me.

Long lines, long waits, generally incompetent if not downright obnoxious people behind the counter. I always have an infuriating experience here. Ill be going to the Patrick Street location in future - theyre at least efficient there.

Ive had the worst experience at this post office. The employees are totally rude. I had a post office box there and have multiple times where my mom has sent me packages and they havent placed a notice in the box for me to pick up so I have to ask and track it down. They dont even apologize for being incompetent. Dumped my PO box and try not to use the USPS anymore. Miss my old post office when I lived in Utah. I actually became friends with those employees and they werent complete assholes to me.
