These guys are the real deal! Stopped here to have a custom motorcycle seat upholstered to replace my current seat. They patiently and kindly showed me the many different colors and types of leather products they offer. Although I preferred real leather for my seat, we couldnt find a the correct match for my motorcycle side bag. I ended up settling with a faux leather that looked close enough, but it didnt sit right with me on my drive home. After getting home, I had the idea of going to Tandy Leather in Essex to see if they had a leather swatch that was a good match. I called Joes and they said they hadnt yet ordered the faux leather we had previously agreed upon for my seat. I then asked them to hold off and drove up to Tandy Leather. To my surprise, they had the perfect match! I called Joes and brought them the leather swatch. They called me and shared that it was ready after a few short days. The work is fantastic! Its exactly what I wanted. They were amazing to work with start to finish and I highly recommend them for your upholstery needs! And their pricing is very reasonable and was the best price I received! Thanks for the awesome new seat Joes!

These folks are phenomenal!!! I had to have the sunroof replaced in my granddaughters car. It was literally 5 days from the time the sunroof was ordered until the installation was complete, and 2 of those days were weekend days! Once the sunroof was delivered, the installation was completed the very next day. The costs were more than reasonable. I found the staff there to be very courteous and generally nice folks! I will definitely go back there the next time I need their services. I definitely recommend this shop!

When I decided to have my interior redone on this 1969 Pontiac GTO, the only place I felt comfortable leaving my car was with Don at Joes Upholstery, Frederick, MD. The interior was done to perfection and exceeded my expectations. Don kept me in the loop every step of the way. I was invited to inspect his work whenever I drove by the shop, so I stopped in every other day while the work was being done. Thank you for giving me first class treatment.

I took my 1992 Cadillac Braughm (a classic show car) into Joes Upholstery shop for a very difficult head liner and rear beauty panels replacement. And BOY was I surprised at the magnificent job Joe did on my car...! Also, at a very reasonable cost too! Very happy and impressed with the whole experience I have had with Joes...!~

Joes shop made zippered, removable cushion covers for my Cargo style furniture couches and chairs. They did a beautiful job with the fabric I had purchased elsewhere and I am delighted with my new furniture. They had done some car interior work for me in the past and on a lark I asked if they would consider making the cushion covers. Not only did they make the covers, but stuffed the cushions into the very tight and well fitting covers. Wonderful job!

Excellent craftsmenI needed a repair to the side of the driver’s seat of my 2007 Volvo XC70. Volvo no longer makes the seat cover. They did an excellent job of matching the leather and a superb job of stitching the new panel in. It is very hard to tell that the seat has been repaired.High quality work at a fair price. What a wonderful find!

I dealt with Joe directly to get an upgrade to a very uncomfortable Harley stock seat. He tore it down, put in 1/2 in gel pad, new factory leather and shaped it to fit me custom perfect. Rode the seat for 3 years after that in total comfort...awesome work, thanks Joe. Ken

Joes Upholstery was highly recommended to me so I talked to them and got an estimate for $1,000.00- $1,100.00 for reupholstering my pontoon boat seats, repairing my carpets and patching three small holes in my cover. The estimate was fair so I agreed to the service and brought everything to their shop in Feb.(Actually the cover and carpets were dropped off in November 2014). I told them I wanted to sell the boat and would like the work done by the middle of April so I could show the boat at the beginning of spring when most people buy boats. They said no problem. Around the first of May, not having heard from Joe or his son, I dropped by the shop to see if everything was done and was told not ready will be starting on them next week. two weeks later I called and was told they couldnt find any of my items. The next day I went to their shop and we found the seats right where we had unloaded in the 2nd building 3 months ago. I was then told they would have everything ready in 2 weeks. I called Joes 2 weeks later, surprise, not ready. Finally June 17th Joe called and said the seat were ready. Great, finally, still time to sell the boat this year. I asked how did the carpets turn out? their answer was what carpets? What boat cover? I had my wife pick up the seats that day for which they charged her $1,168.00 for just the seat work. I own an AC repair company, so I know you sometimes run into more expense on a job than you expect so I said nothing about the price increase. The next day I went to Joes and helped them find my carpets and cover right where we had unloaded in the 2nd building 7 months ago. I was told they would be ready by next week. July 9th I called to check on the repairs again. Not ready. July 28, not ready. August 10, not ready. August 28, I called again. Not ready and Joes not here, I will have him call you on Monday to tell you when they will be ready. After never saying a word about the continuous delays for 6 months, I then lost my temper and told the women on the phone (Joes wife?) that I have been waiting 6 months and was considering calling my attorney. She said she didnt know about that but she would have Joe call me and hung up. 30 seconds later she called me on my business line and said that I could pick up my cover and carpets, that they could not do the work for me and that my items would be outside. (evidently they now have at last memorized where they have stored them for 9 months). I picked up my items immediately as suggested and will be filing a complaint with the Maryland Attorney Generals Office.
