Before working for Alyssa and GEICO I had all but given up my career as an insurance agent. Alyssa is an amazing boss. Very understanding, knowledgeable and her door is always open. The entire office feels like family and also takes care of their customers as if they’re family as well.

After 4 days of working with corporate office- getting the run around and no help I listened to my brother and contacted the Frederick Geico. Brittany answered the phone... just like that! Geico is good until you file a claim. They are very polite when checking on details of your claim but when they supposed to pay you, Geico claim handlers are using all conceivable tricks to tire you out: not returning calls, shifting your case to another handler, claiming that other party did not admit causing the accident and therefore your claim is filed as word vs word, etc.I ended up going to court to make the driver of the car who damaged my vehicle to pay for repairs on my car. Geico didnt give me anything but frustrations.
I recently needed to get homeowners insurance and spoke with Dilia. She was very respectful, helpful, and easy to talk to. Ive been with Geico for over 4 years now and wont change. Very thankful I got her help!

Locked My keys was locked in My truck . called Geico was on the phone for about 30 mins.. The lady kept telling me she couldnt find me a locksmith. Then we got disconnected never a return call or anything.. It this what I paying 393.00 a month for? I had to wait til the next day to get a key made. Thinking of switching to new insurance company.

Cant beat Geico in MD for price on car insurance, and as theyre one of the major players they arent going to jerk you around if you need to file a claim. Their account executive Dilia is wonderful to work with too!

I got a quote for 818.49. A month! Trying to finance a new car at 429 dollars a month. Pushing my 380 a month payment limit. I agreed to the car payment, knowing I would need full coverage. 800 dollars a month, nearly DOUBLE my car payment. Insurance agencies are the true criminals.

My policy was “unable to be renewed” after my first collision. I had been with this company for 6 years consecutively. The car was not totaled, and was able to be fixed in 3 days from the incident. When calling customer service those individuals are so nice and caring and responsive. But none of them could help me because the decision was made elsewhere.
My experience was great! I received aid from one of their workers, Leah, and she helped me get the information I needed to solve my problem.

I have been with Geico for 17 years, and am very surprised at how my policy was handled over the last few months. My car insurance was canceled due to inquiring about commercial use. I havent purchased a commercial vehicle yet, I merely called to ask what business use options were. My insurance was canceled 6 months later due to this, where I never received an email or phone call, and was informed I was sent certified mail which I never signed for. They said they take inquiries as literal changes to accounts, and I had to prove I was not using my car for business use. Now, my insurance has been reinstated after a questionnaire and I am paying $30 a month more than what I was originally paying. I am shocked this is how long term customers are treated.

This came to my attention after receiving fr-19 from state. They dropped a car from my policy stating it was not in our name when I have had that car insured for years with the lien holders name on policy. I was first told it was dropped when I added my truck. (Yes, two other vehicles on the policy too)Then its was because the vin number was off by a digit. Today I am told it is because I did not send in copy of registration back in January. Paid car off in January and transferred to solely in my wifes name but it was dropped at 3/20 renewal which has resulted in hundreds owed to state in fines since they will only add it back as of 6/9/20. Mind you at the agents request and acknowledgment of copy of title was sent 5/21/20. I was told 6/9 was it since that is when the copy of registration was received. STAY AWAY THEY DO NOT CARE ABOUT THEIR CUSTOMERS!!!

Very cheap insurance. Statefarm was charging me 350 for 3 car liability. State farm was at 180 all three. And also their app is amazing.and when you call the 800 number they dont try to push you to agent

Absolutely horrible ! Told me for sure that my ex would not be on the policy when I started itI was very clear that I could not get insurance if my ex would be on the policy and the lady reassured me that is fine she doesnt need to be on the policy. Well couple months later Geico decides to raise my rates an extra $160 a month because they had to add my ex and all this could have been avoided if the lady that I signed up with made me sign a piece of paper but now Im responsible for the extra 160 and they didnt do s*** to help

My fiancee recently bought a vehicle for whcich she purchased an auto insurance from Geico. As I was a co-signer and we used my address, the insurance had to be in my name and I am an authorized driver of course. I had to use her older car and I an authorized driver. Last week the car would not start and I needed to tow it to the shop. I called Geico and Lakeisha (not sure about the spelling) started setting up the service until someone started whispering in her ears and suddenly the story changed. They had to talk to her before they could move forward, even though I am an authorized driver. Unfortunately, my fiancee was in a meeting and thus I had to wait 3 hours just for Geico to contact the towing company.I was so upset and frustrated the day I took off work to get the vehicle fixed was wasted.I cannot wait to go back to USAA. I would never had been through that nonsense had stayed with USAA. If you belong to the military family, you should check it out.
